Non, la fin juin n'est pas trop tard pour vous trouver quelque chose à Banff.
La période touristique débute assez tard dans les Rocheuses. La dernière fois que j'y ai mis les pieds, il neigeait fin mai et j'avais mes vêtements d'hiver, avec l'effet du vent. Environ trois semaines plus tard, c'était l'été... Vous vous retrouverez à environ 5000' en altitude (plus froid). Ce qui 'retient' les touristes. En fait: difficile de prévoir la météo, et dire quand est-ce que les employeurs pourront 'ouvrir la machine' et faire travailler tout son monde...
Vous pouvez vous-même vérifier ces renseignements (et autres, ...préparez vos questions) en appelant au centre local d'Emploi de Banff. Il y en a un à Canmore (15'' à l'est de Banff), dont la préposée parle français. Mme Hoffmann, si elle y travaille toujours.
Par contre, la saison touristique se maintient aisément jusqu'en automne. Il ne faut pas oublier que le tourisme n'est pas une science exacte. Bien des causes peuvent faire augmenter ou faire fuir le tourisme d'une année à l'autre.
Pour vous trouver un emploi, malgré tout ce qu'on vous dira, promettra, jurera, etc., rien équivaut à un employeur à qui vous parlerez et pourra vous voir. À moins que vous reveniez au même endroit après une première année de travail, mettons. Tentez de traduire votre cv en anglais.
Le Banff Spring Hotel (BSH), hotel du réseau Fairmont Hotels, est assez connu à Banff. Idem pour le 'Chateau Lake Louise', dans la ville du même nom. Beaucoup d'hôtels, restaurants et autres endroits de travail fournissent un endroit à loger à leur employé. La plupart du temps contre un loyer minime. Il faut vérifier dans quelles conditions.
N'hésitez pas à y aller, mais soyez bien préparé à votre départ et soyez confiantes, débrouillardes. Parlez aux gens une fois là-bas, échangez de l'information. Allez manger au resto du YMCA. Beaucoup de québécois y travaillaient l'été dernier. Y'a beaucoup de monde du Québec. Si les choses s'éternisent, n'hésitez pas à aller voir (ou téléphoner) ailleurs, comme au Lac Louise. Ou à Canmore. Faut regarder partout, noter les infos trouvés, relancer, avoir confiance. Tout devrait bien se passer.
oui j'ai passé des vacance labas ...c vrai vous pouvez trouver du boulo mais RIEN N EST SUR TOUJOURS !!! y a un MACDOnalds QUI recrute dans le coins labas , , il donne meme hebergement ( stuf accomodation )...les salaire 12 dollars heur ...ce qui a durant l été si vous avez de la chance ou vous etes debrouillard com MOI😠😠😠😠😠 vous pourriez trouver 2 jobes y a bcp hotel..resto ..etc ...donc vous allez a CALGARY par avion et au centre ville y a un bus qui va a banff prix 28 dollars ( si vous avez la carte oberge vous beneficie d une reduction , , l fo la presenter )...et puis 2h de voyage vous y etes a banff c mgnifique... j ai bien aimé ca ...bon courage , , ,

Je n'ai pas d'emploi mais je monte quand même. J'ai envoyé mon cv par courriel, mais je n'ai pas reçu de réponse. Par contre, je m'étais déjà informé sur le sujet et à ce qu'il paraît, il est vraiment facile une fois là-bas d'obtenir un emploi. Il faut simplement se présenter en personne.
C'est drôle parce que moi aussi, je voulais partir en autobus au début, mais c'est sûr que 3 jours c'est assez long et il manquait de temps dans mon horaire. Alors, finalement je pars en avion le 28 juin et je reste à Banff jusqu'au 21 juillet, peut-être pourrions-nou garder contact et si jamais il y a quoi que ce soit, on sera au moins 2 !!!
