All the answers are on Sanparks, here more precisely.

Upgrading (new booking more expensive than the previous one) is free. Cancellation is free up to 30 days before, then fees apply.

I’ve already changed bookings without any issues via the site.

Thanks Attila, I’d read about it but wanted a real-life confirmation. Turns out I managed to change the dates for a Lodge—it wasn’t easy, but in theory I can keep my original bookings! Phew!! Dan
