Bonjour nous partirons a cuba en octobre avec notre fille de 22 mois.
Nous hésitons (selon notre budget) entre ces 2 hotels : playa alameda ou tryp peninsula. Pouvez vous me dire ou m'eclairer dans mon choix ?
Presentement le tryp est a 747 $ et le playa a 797$
Je sais qu'il y a des hotel familial beaucoup mieux noté mais bon budget oblige... surtout que nous repartons en janvier...
A moins vous avez d'autres suggestion dans c'est prix là..
Nous sommes allés à plusieurs reprises au Tryp Peninsula et nous avons toujours très apprécié notre séjour. Ce n'est pas un gros complexe et l'on s'y retrouve assez facilement. Le site est magnifique et très bien entretenu. Vous allez adorez la mer, c'est vraiment très beau.
Les chambres sont décorées simplement mais elle sont propres. La plage est belle et on ne manque pas de chaises ni de palapas. Le restaurant-buffet a été entièrement rénové l'été dernier, mais je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de le voir. De plus, près de la plage, il y a le Laguna où l'on peut prendre les repas du matin et du midi. C'est super beau et on y mange bien ! (rénové en 2009).
Nous n'y sommes jamais allés avec nos enfants mais les installations pour les accueillir semblent très correctes. Habituellement, les familles sont logés dans une section où l'on retrouve piscine avec glissades et jeux pour enfant, bar à crème glacée et mini-club.
Sincèrement, je crois que vous feriez un bon choix avec le Tryp Peninsula.
P.S. Nous avons réservé pour y retourner le 28 août prochain et nous avons bien hâte d'y être !!!

Le site est petit et l'hôtel est un peu plus vieux, mais ils font des rénos chaque année.
Nous étions dans le bloc 15 près de la plage.
J'ai beaucoup apprécié le travail des employés qui sont vite devenus des amis. Les G.O. sont super sympas, menés d'un coup de maître par le grand Alexi Jimenez, chef des animateurs.
Il y a un orchestre live qui joue près du lobby chaque soir, à voir, et les sessions workout/cours de danse se font sur le bord de la plage, BEAUCOUP de plaisir avec Alexi et les amis.
J'ai plein de photos et ma critique est quelque part dans ce forum, faites une recherche du genre "De retour du Ibéro Playa Alameda"...

Nous revenons tout juste d'un séjour d'une semaine au Tryp Peninsula... Nous avons adoré ! l'hôtel a une dizaine d'années, mais les sites sont très bien entretenus, la végétation y est luxuriante et les employés sont véritablement fantastiques ! Apportez des bonbons ou des petits cadeaux pour la femme de ménage et le service sera encore plus génial... Nous y étions avec nos 3 enfants ( 22 mois, 6 et 9 ans ) et tous les trois ont adoré. Le site est très familial, les employés adorent les enfants et les mini-club et baby-club sont très bien. La piscine et la pataugeoire sont très propres... Au début les enfants hésitaient à aller au mini-club, mais à la fin, c'est nous qui nous ennuyions d'eux ! Pour notre bébé, on a pas mal jasé avec Maria et on a finalement décidé de laisser Juliette avec sa soeur et son frère et nous sommes allés faire de la plongée en apnée juste moi et mon chum et ça a très bien été !
Un conseil : amenez une poussette ( et une bonne, car le bébé pourra faire ses siestes dedans ) ! Le site est assez grand et ce qui nous a fait pencher en la faveur du Tryp, c'est que le Iberostar Playa est immense ( un couple que je connais y est allé avec un bébé et ils trouvaient le site trop grand). Mais bon, tout dépend de chacun...
Pour la nourriture, le buffet est varié et chacun trouve son compte... Les restaurants à la carte sont bien, mais sans plus. Nous avons préféré La Gondola... Il a fait beau mur à mur durant les 7 jours... Prévoyez une bonne crème solaire pour le bébé... et pour vous aussi !

🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
