Je dois partir en stage en Nouvelle-Zélande et y être pour le 1er février. Dans l'idéal, j'aimerais donc partir le 20 ou le 25 janvier. Cependant, mon maitre de stage ne m'a pas encore envoyé le document officiel confirmant mon recrutement donc j'hésite encore à acheter billets d'avion et visa.
Je veux partir en VTT pour pouvoir exercer un petit boulot rémunérateur après et/ou pendant et aussi parce que mon stage est susceptible de dépasser les six mois.
Est-ce qu'il vaut mieux que je demande mon visa au plus vite ou est-ce qu'en moins de 15 jours on peut l'obtenir?

Le visa VVT est simple et rapide à obtenir. Il suffit simplement de remplir les 4 documents disponible sur le site internet de l'ambassade de Nouvelle Zelande et de payer la somme demandé.

Pour Postuler au PVT (Programmes Vacances Travail) ou VVT en Nouvelle-Zélande il faut remplir 4 conditions :avoir entre 18 et 30 ans à la date de la demande du PVT, résider en France (France métropolitaine, DOM et Saint Pierre et Miquelon uniquement) au moment du dépôt de la demande de Visa Vacances Travail, être titulaire d'un passeport français valable pour toute la durée du séjour en Nouvelle-Zélande, pouvoir justifier de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée de votre séjour, ne pas avoir déjà d'un Visa Vacances Travail pour la Nouvelle-Zélande, souscrire une assurance santé rapatriement pour la durée du séjour.Voilà !

Pour ceux que ça intéresse, il faut s'y prendre au moins trois semaines à l'avance pour être tranquille, en particulier si vous avez effectué un séjour dans un pays à risque de tuberculose (beaucoup de pays extra-européens sont classés comme tels ainsi que certains pays d'Europe de l'Est donc attention).
Voici le temps que ça m'a pris :
- Mercredi 5 janvier : je postule pour un visa en ligne mais ils exigent une deuxième preuve d'identité en plus du passeport -- je n'ai plus de carte d'identité et ça prend au moins une semaine à avoir mais heureusement, je peux demander un acte de naissance.
- Jeudi 6 janvier : je vais chercher mon acte de naissance à la mairie et j'inscris les détails en ligne afin d'envoyer définitivement mon dossier.
- Vendredi 7 janvier : je reçois un mail de l'immigration qui m'informe qu'étant donné que j'ai passé du temps dans des pays à risque de tuberculose, je dois faire une radio des poumons chez un des médecins ayant passé des accords avec l'ambassade de NZ.
- Mercredi 12 janvier : j'ai mon rendez-vous chez le médecin, je reçois ma radio une heure après mais je dois la renvoyer moi-même à l'ambassade de NZ à Londres. La Poste est déjà fermée et je ne peux m'y déplacer le lendemain.
- Vendredi 14 janvier : j'envoie mon certificat par recommandé à l'ambassade de NZ à Londres.
- Vendredi 21 janvier : l'ambassade reçoit mon certificat.
- Lundi 24 janvier : l'ambassade approuve mon visa.
Total : 19 jours.
En résumé : la procédure de visa est visiblement très rapide lorsque le dossier est complet (pour moi, une fois mon dossier complet ça a pris trois jours mais il y avait le weekend entre!) mais si vous devez passer par des étapes supplémentaires comme la radio des poumons ou si vous n'avez pas certaines pièces (carte d'identité etc.), il faut vous y prendre au moins trois semaines à l'avance car entre le RDV à prendre chez le médecin, le courrier à envoyer en Angleterre etc. ça peut retarder votre dossier! Si j'avais été un peu plus efficace, j'aurais pu gagner entre trois et cinq jours mais pas beaucoup plus donc il m'aurait bien fallu deux semaines pour compléter mon dossier et obtenir mon visa.
Ce n'est pas du détail du tout car la radio des poumons concerne une bonne partie des voyageurs! Le seul détail personnel de mon cas était l'absence de certificat de naissance/carte d'identité mais j'en ai parlé pour rappeler à de potentiels demandeurs qu'il y a toujours des imprévus.
La radio a été demandé par l'ambassade une fois ma demande de visa reçue et sans cela, elle ne pouvait valider mon dossier. C'est un élément important à prendre en compte dans le délai d'obtention d'un visa car il faut AU MOINS trois jours pour obtenir un rendez-vous chez le radiologue agréé (cinq dans mon cas) et comme le dossier est à renvoyer à Londres (pour un dossier français), cela prend encore plusieurs jours supplémentaires. Pour moi qui suis à Paris, cela a pris une semaine complète alors que Londres est à deux heures de train, donc quelqu'un qui habiterait à Nice ou Biarritz ne peut s'attendre à moins!
Je rappelle que la radio des poumons concerne les personnes qui ont été trois mois cumulés ou plus dans un pays à risque de tuberculose sur les CINQ dernières années! Autant dire que si vous avez passé trois semaines en vacances en Tunisie chaque été depuis cinq ans, vous devrez passer le test!
Des pays à la mode pour les vacances comme l'Espagne, le Portugal, la Tunisie, le Maroc, la Croatie, la Turquie, l'Ile Maurice, les Seychelles, les Maldives etc. sont considérés comme à risque de tuberculose donc si sur les cinq dernières années vos vacances cumulées là-bas équivalent à trois mois, vous devrez passer la radio des poumons. Sans compter si vous avez été expatrié quelque part...
Il y a environ 50 pays considérés par la Nouvelle-Zélande comme sûrs donc ne nécessitant pas un test des poumons. Pour tous les autres (soit environ 140 pays...), il faudra passer le test des poumons!
Avis aux gros voyageurs, donc... C'est un "détail" à prendre absolument en compte lors de votre demande de visa!😛

Je n'ai pas eu besoin de radio des poumons alors que j'ai séjourné pendant 1mois et demi en Tunisie il y 4ans!!!
Ce qu'il y a de bien avec les ptits détails comme cela c'est que la tache peut être bien compliqué au final...
J'habite en Corse...pas de médecins agréés pour cette foutue radio...et j'ai passé un an au Pérou+ voyage dans d'autres pays sur la liste noire...donc pas moyen d'y réchapper...
Donc en gros, je me dis qu'il serait temps de m'occuper de mon visa (on est mi décembre) si je veux partir tranquille début février 2012!
Ah et il faudra penser á acheter un ptit billet d'avion, ca peut aider ca aussi!

L'idée est d'y aller, pour un certain temps...en VVT...et voir oú la vie me menera...sachant que je vis le plus possible selon le mode travail contre hébergement et nourriture...la NZ semble un lieu parfait pour cela...et peut etre une opportunité pour renflouer le porte monnaie ou du moins limiter le trou dans le compte en banque...

Le visa va vite une fois que tu as la radio. Le seul probleme c'est qu'en Corse, ca prendra quelques jours de plus que pour moi de Paris pour parvenir a Londres mais si tu obtiens un RDV pour janvier, je pense que tu devrais avoir ton visa fin janvier. Attends d'avoir ton RDV avant de booker ton billet d'avion! Mais si tu es pressee, une fois que tu sais quand tu vas faire ta radio, je pense que tu peux acheter ton billet pour environ 3 semaines apres le jour de ton RDV medical. Au pire, tu peux toujours envoyer la radio en chronopost international, ce qui accelera la procedure - mais ca va te couter cher!
La NZ est tres bien pour voyager en Woofing ou autre, c'est avec l'Australie un de meilleurs pays pour ca.
