c'est sur que là c'est pas la période (fin décembre) la plus cool (entre la saison hivernale, la période familiale des fêtes et la crise économique) pour avoir un bon moral un 29 décembre !! courage courage !! sincèrement !

Ma cousine s'est installée en Irlande il y a deux ans maintenant,
elle a commencé par être fille au pair pour parfaire son english,
est tombé dans une bonne famille qui a su la conseiller notament sur le "bon" moment pour voler de ses propres ailes.
Ce qu'elle a fait, avec un chouyia de chance, elle a trouvé un job de serveuse
puis a vite monté les échellons dans un super hotel de luxe... Comme quoi, tout arrive !

Ici je vois pas mal d'annonces pour aller faire fille au pair en Irlande ou autres pays anglosaxons, tu es partie en sachant qu'il allait falloir trouver sur place? Tu n'as personne ici, niveau boulot (anpe, mission locale ou autre) pour t'aiguiller??
En tant qu'ex chercheuse de boulot, ce que je te conseille, c'est de relancer tes contacts !!!
Même si ton anglais n'est pas au top, c'est la motivation qui prime pour quasi tous les emplois.
Un employeur (sensé) préferera forcément quelqu'un de motivé qui a des soucis, momentanés, au niveau de la langue locale qu'un bon interlocuteur qui n'est pas motivé...
Ne soit pas désespérée (je sais, c'est plus facile à dire qu'à faire mais accroches-toi!) et relances. Rappelle après avoir transmis un CV, pour savoir s'il l'on bien reçu, s'ils n'ont aucune offre d'emploi qui correspond à tes compétences, ou si tu peux obtenir un rendez-vous, ...

Si cela peut vous aider, avez vous pense a postuler dans les pubs........superb moyen de rencontrer du monde, de parfaire votre anglais et les francaises sont generalement bien vu pour ce travail la? Je suis Anglaise alors j'ai travaille souvent dans les pubs et hotels avec des Francaises et la petite touche francophone avait l'air de plaire aux patron(nes) et aux clients! Attention, quand meme a ce que vous ayez une bonne sense d'humour et que vous ne soyez pas trop timide!

Pour avoir fait l'expérience de débarquer à l'étranger pour trouver un travail, je pense que de bonnes connaissances en langue sont indispensable pour trouver un taf sympa dans ta branche.
Si tu veux un ptit tuyaux (au cas où tu ne trouves toujours rien dans les mois à venir), tu peux envoyer un CV au village de vacances Trabolgan situé au sud de Cork. Peut être pourrais tu trouver un emploi dans la restauration, l'animation ou autre là bas en attendant de trouver mieux. La saison commence début Avril!
Je pense que tes difficultés sont exclusivement liées à la crise, je suis arrivé sur Cork en 2006 et il était très facile de trouver un boulot, et le nombre de mecs qui bossaient sans connaître un mot d'anglais ou avec un anglais complètement cassé était hallucinant.
Les conseils que je peux te donner c'est de cibler les centres d'appel pour lesquels ils cherchent des francophones, là pour le coup tu as un atout à faire valoir et tu es en concurrence avec moins de monde, il te faut un CV nickel et des références bien entendu.
Sinon au niveau des agences mon expérience est qu'il faut constamment relancer et relancer, appeler les employeurs. Le facteur être au bon endroit au bon moment m'avait semblé important.
Si une agence d'intérim a un tout d'un coup du boulot à proposer et que quelqu'un se pointe à se moment là, il va décrocher le taf, le chargé de recrutement de l'agence a oublié la tête des 200 gars qui sont passés avant lui et se dit que ça tombe à pic (bon ça vaut pour du travail non qualifié).
toujours dans la meme galère, j'ai posé pleins de CV et j'ai eu qu'une seule réponse negative
donc je continue
j'ai rencontré des français a Cork, et ils m'ont dit que c'est normal on trouve generalement au bout de 2 ou 3 mois et encore...
je cherche un peu partout, je vais dans des coffee chops et des magasins et pour le moment on me dit "it's quiet" ou "it's full' ou revenez plus tard ect...
mon anglais est mieux qu'avant

Persevere, je sais, c'est chiant de passer c'est journee a attendre des coups de fil.
Si toutefois tu ne trouves pas de taf, tu pourras toujours mettre tes 3 mois en Irlande comme une bonne experience sur ton CV... en ommettant de preciser que tu y etais pour chercher du taf a la base... et en le faisant passer comme une experience linguistique, logee dans une famille...😉 On retire du positif de toute experience!

AUssi je ne sais pas si j'aurais vraiment des conseils constructifs à te donner, juste de t'accrocher...Pour rencontrer des gens, il y a bien sur les pubs ou night pubs étudiant, comme le thirsty, le an Brog, le Old Oak... Si tu vas le lundi soir au Spailpin Fanach (en face de la brasserie beamish, il y a de la musique irlandaise en live, et à mon époque, donc il y a 3 ans, il y avait pas mal de français.J'ai encore un ami à Cork, si jamais tu es vraiment paumé. Si tu veux j'ai écris une chanson et fais un clip en "roman -photo" qui parle de mon année en Irlande. ces pubs je les ai fait et c'est vrai il y a beaucoup de français et j'en ai rencontrer plein d'ailleurs, cela m'a permit d'etre moins seule et de ne pas progresser mon anglais, j'aime bcp cette ville et ce qu'il y a autour d'ailleurs j'ai fait de la randonnée au peninsule de Mezen head😛 et allé a kinsale.
mais le problème c'est le boulot, c'est la crise meme pour une personne qui parle courramment l'anglais.
si cela ne tenais qu'a moi, je serai resté mais je suis entrain de liquider tout mes economies.
