Et voici le problème : Comment faire voyager le p'tit chat (2, 6 kg) en cabine et non en soute ?
Apparament c'est impossible avec les compagnies Locales et difficile avec les autres. Alors si quelqu'un a déja réussi ou connait la marche à suivre, merci d'avance.
A moins que çà a changé depuis avec certaines compagnies, le chat ou chien de moins de 5 kg pouvait voyager dans un sac à cet effet...ça peut etre galère pour les voisins qd meme si l'animal est pas habitué... miaw miaw... évitez les cachetons pour les faire dormir, ils sont complètement shoutés et c encore pire...
Renseignez vous à une époque j'ai fait 2 ou 3 vol avec mon chat en cabine !
Comment s'est passe la venue de ton chat sur Abu Dhabi?
mon epouse et les enfants doivent voyager le 6 juillet avec deux bichons maltais, moins de 3 kgs. les billets sont avec Air France sur Dubai ou je compte les accueillir et les emmener a AD.
as-tu pu faire voyager le chat en cabine? avec AF cela semble pas possible...

le voyage s'est tres bien passé. Le chat a voyagé en soute sur vol direct par Ethiad. Nous lui avions donné aucun médicament car fortement déconséillé par le véto. Il faut pour les deux animaux un certificat d'import. Tu donnes ton chat une demi heure avant le vol et tu le recuperes vingt minutes apres au niveau des bagages, service personalisé. Attention le chat doit etre micro chippé et surtout vacciné contre la rage.
Franchement j'étais pas chaud pour la faire voyager en soute, elle fait seulement 2 kg, mais le véto m'as carrément dit que c'était préférable, les soutes sont pressurisés et les animaux dorment une fois le décollage effectué. En cabine le moindre bruit va les stresser. Avec le recul je recommandes la soute à 100 %.
Question prix j'ai payé 175 euros quand même pour 4 kilos !!!
C'est le tarif excédent de baggages qui s'applique.

nos bichons ont l'habitude de voyager en cabine et ce, pratiquement que sur AF qui reste encore une ligne autorisant les petits animaux en cabine.
il faut savoir que AF n'autorise pas le voyage aux animaux entre Paris et Dubai, par contre le retour peut se faire par AF. il faut, selon eux les faire voyager en cargo, meme pas en soute...
raison invoque, pas de veterinaire a l'arrivee a Dubai Airport, est-ce le cas a AD? comment s'est passe l'arrivee?

Je n'avais pas prévnu ethiad que je voyagais avec un chat. Quand je suis arrivé à l'aéroport ça a été un peu le branle bas de combat. Un chat, quoi un cvhta vous nous avez pas prévenu, etc ....
Sur ce je leur montre que j'ai tous les papiers en règles pour le voyage : passeport pour le chat, microchip certificat, vaccin antirabique et surtout import certificat. La tout le monde se détend et c'est ok pour le chat. Par contre ils me disent que comme j'ai pas prévenu je dois aller chercher le chat dans la zone cargo à abu dhabi. Ok tant pis sauf qu'a l'arrivée je prends le temps et passe par le duty free pour acheter cigarettes et alcool et la bonne surprise un monsieur vient vers moi et me demandes si c'est bien mon chat. Je le récupères donc avec les baggages. A la sortie un douanier me demandes le certificat d'import et les papiers du chat, je lui sors la liasse et la il me dit que mon chat est mignon et me souhaites une bonne journée. Le chat n'a vu aucun véto.
Je penses que les compagnies préferent eviter au maximum les emmerdements et qu'elles préferent donc envoyer les animaux par cargo car la le personnel est tres bien formé concernant les papiers nécessaires afin d'eviter de se voir refouler à la frontière. Pour moi c'est la seule raison qui justifie cette démarche. Effectivement on m'avait dis que les animaux a destination des emirats devaient voyager en cargo, y compris chez ethiad mais finalement ils sont franchement super cool à l'arrivée. En tout cas j'ai pris ton number je te tel demain.
