Suite au rendez vous du 13 juillet, on a garder mon formulaire I-20, D160, photo, sevis et lettre chronopost..mais on m'a rendu mon passeport en me disant qu'on me rappellerait car sois disant mon nom de famille a consonance trop hispano-américaine posait problème et que c était sois disant la procédure.
J'ai présenté une lettre de mon employeur en France qui indique que je dois revenir en mars 2012, puis une lettre de ma banque avec les ressources nécessaires pour les 6 mois que je passerais au Etats Unis, puis une lettre notifiée par un notaire public de New york indiquant que ma soeur, résidente aux état unis légale, m'hébergera pendant ces 6 mois.
Donc je ne comprends pas.... a ce jour je n'ai aucune nouvelle de leur part....je ne sais pas quoi y penser.
Des cas comme le mien sont ils fréquents?
Que me conseillez vous de faire?
Ils vont simplement faire une recherche plus approfondie sur ton cas.
Les ambassades américaines sont extrêmement prudentes quand elles émettent des visas et oui, il y a une sorte de profilage basée sur les origines du candidat. Je pense que tu peux faire un suivi sur leur site web avec ton numéro d'inscription.
Sinon, sois patiente et tu auras bientôt une réponse.

oui exactement, cetait une blonde avec des lunettes...decidement!!!
oui j'ai eu mon visa finalement. En fait apres mon post jai contacter a nouveau l'ambassade sur le numero payant et je leur ai expliquer que je ne comprenais pas pourquoi ils me faisaient attendre comme cela. l'agent au telephone m'a dit que ce n'etait pas normal et que de toute facon un refus de visa se fait tout de suite le jour de l'entretien. Donc tinquiete pas, ton visa tu l'auras tot ou tard. l'agent au tel ma aussi dit quil enverrait un mail a l'ambassadeur et que je recevrais des nouvelles le plus vite possible. 5 jours plus tard j'ai recu un mail en me disant d'apporter mon passeport ou de l'envoyer. donc le lendemain j'ai apporter personnellement mon passeport et deux jours plus tard je recevais mon passeport avec mon visa. Ils m'ont finalement donne un visa de 5 ans alors que j'ai seulement demander 6 mois.
Le conseil que je peux te donner c'est de rappeler le numero payant et d'insister en leur disant que c'est urgent.
et dis leur aussi que tu n'as pas de numero de suivi car moi la dame a lunette m'avait rien donner.....normalement ils doivent te donner un numero de suivi sur lequel tu peux voir le suivi de ton dossier.

ahhh, tu n'aurais pas du parler de ta soeur qui réside aux USA. Ça rend les formalités plus compliquées. Un visa d'étudiant est en général assez facile à decrocher.
Salut Carla, merci pour ta réponse. Pour ma part, je suis allé l'ambassade une première fois au mois de juillet. Mais comme j'avais pas de news au bout d'un mois je les ai appelés....14,5 euros...dur !!! Le conseiller m'a dit qu'une personne en charge de mon dossier allait me contacter sous 48h !!! Au bout d'une semaine, toujours rien. Du coup je suis retourné à l'ambassade. Et c'est là qu'on m'a dit que mon dossier était en cours de traitement et que le délai était illimité. Genre ils peuvent traiter ma demande dans 4 mois. C'est un peu relou car mes cours commencent dans 25 jours. Enfin, j'essaie de faire intervenir mon école mais c'est pas gagné. J'espère que tout ca se décantera assez vite. Mais faut avouer qu'il y a une petite pression quand même. Allez je te souhaite de bien t'amuser aux states, profites à fond. Amitiés.
