Je me prépare pour aller à LasVegas. Quelqu'un peut m'éclairé sur ce qui absolument à voir. Je vais voir le spectacle de Céline et j'ai l'intention de voir O du cirque du soleil. Est-ce un bon choix? Je séjournerai au Caesars Palace côté gastromie quelqu'un peut m'en parler s.v.p. Quoi voir ou visité......Merci
Tu as la possibilité en terme de spectcles d'en trouver à 50 % de reduction dans certaine agences (nottament à côté de la bouteille de coka, tu comprendras !!!!).
Sinon, à Vegas, il ne faut pas oublier que c'est le temple du jeu, du poker, des machines à sous, roulettes, black Jack, j'en passe et des meilleurs. Les balades sur le strip à travers les hotels, les galeries marchandes sont fortes agréables. Les piscines des grands hotels valent également le détour, enfin, on ne s'ennuie jamais à Las Vegas !!!

Bon, les différents spectacles du cirque du soleil sont incontournables.
Le Caesar Palace est un très bon choix.
Au niveau gastronomie, le sport local c'est la course aux buffets (trouver le meilleur rapport qualité prix du moment).
Mais bon, quand on dort au Caesar, c'est qu'on est pété de tunes, et dans ce cas tu trouveras dans chaque grand hôtel plusieurs restos hyper chics avec des toques renommées.
En ce qui concerne ce qu'il y a à voir à LV : te taper le strip de long en large, aller d'hôtel en hôtel, regarder le spectacle de ce disneyland pour adultes, boire des coups, tester les bars à oxygène, faire un tour en hélico, louer un hummer...
Sinon LV est au centre des grands parcs nationaux, et ils méritent le détour.
J'ai vu ces 2 spectacles + Mystère du Cirque du Soleil lorsque je suis passée par Las Végas en avril dernier.
Ce sont des spectacles absolument fabuleux !! Céline est magique, j'ai eu la chance de prendre un billet au 3° rang que j'avais pris 6 mois avant via son fan club sur internet. Je suis sortie de la salle très émue parce qu'elle a un petit mot pour les français et canadiens dans la salle. Elle est simplement éblouissante. Je l'adore donc j'ai été ravie mais son show est vraiment très beau. Elle parle pas mal à son public... enfin, c'est la Céline qu'on connait à la télé !!
Quant à O, c'est tout simplement sublime. J'y ai été avec ma fille de 16 ans et demi et nous nous sommes vraiment régalés.
Tout est très beau, les costumes, les chorégraphies, les figures qu'ils font, la musique, bref, nous avons été enchantés et on est sorti de là, les yeux remplis de merveilles !!!!
Mystère est différent bien sûr puisque ce n'est pas un ballet aquatique mais tout aussi superbe. Ce sont vraiment des pro. qui font le spectacle et on est subjugué.
Il y a tellement de spectacles sur Las Végas qu'il faut quand même faire un choix selon le budget qu'on a car bien sûr ces shows sont chers (mais on n'est jamais déçus).
Je sais qu'on peut avoir des places à 50 % sur place en allant sur le strip à l'endroit où il y a la grande bouteille de coca (tu ne peux pas la rater, c'est pas très loin de Harley Davidson, disons entre l'hôtel Aladdin et l'hôtel MGM sur le même trottoir) mais il parait que c'est très dur d'avoir des places pour les shows très quotés (dont ceux que j'ai cité au dessus).
Personnellement, j'ai préféré "assurer" en prenant les places très longtemps à l'avance car je ne voulais pas les rater... surtout Céline !
Je sais que "le rêve" est aussi superbe mais malheureusement, je ne l'ai pas vu !
N'hésites pas si tu as besoin d'autres renseignements.
N'oublies pas d'aller voir le superbe tigre blanc à l'entrée de l'hôtel Mirage (où il y a le grand escalator plat)... il est vraiment sublime !
Sinon tous les hôtels sont beaux à visiter. La serre du Bellagio est une splendeur (elle est située à droite lorsque tu arrives à la réception de l'hôtel).
Si tu me donnes ton mail, je peux t'envoyer des photos du strip, de la superbe serre du Bellagio, du tigre blanc, du colusseum où chante Céline, des hôtels où nous sommes allés (Luxor, Mirage, Aladdin et Flamingo : 1 nuit dans chacun) pour te faire une idée. 😉😉😉
Le Caesars Palace, nous y avons séjourné l' an passé, et je peux te confirmer que c' est un très bon choix.
Il est idéalement situé sur le Strip et sa piscine est absolument magnifique.
Quoi visiter ?
La réponse est assez simple :La plupart des casinos qui se trouvent sur le Strip. Mes préférés : Le Wynn, le Bellagio, le Venetian et le Mirage.
Quoi voir ?
Sur le Strip tu auras l' occasion de voir plusieurs spectacles gratuits devant les casinos :
Le spectacle des sirènes au Treasure Island, je te conseille d' arriver à l' avance, car il y a toujours pas mal de monde.
Ne manques sous aucun prétexte le show des fontaines devant le Bellagio.
Les éruptions de volcans devant le Mirage, à l' intérieur une magnfique serre de végétation tropicale et un immense aquarium de poissons exotiques que tu trouveras à la récetion.
A l' intérieur du Venetian, il y a une galerie marchande très sympa avec des gondoles.
The Forum Shops au Caesars avec ses fontaines, ses statues. Le plafond représente un ciel qui évolue selon le jour ou la nuit.
Les fauves de l' hôtel MGM.
Le Fremont Street Experience qui se situe à Downtown, spectacle son et lumière. Le Golden Nugget se trouve juste à côté.
Je vais m' arrêter là, tout ceci n' étant qu' un petit aperçu de la multitude de choses qu' il y a à voir à Las Vegas.
Je te conseille aussi, si tu as envie de faire du shopping, le Fashion Outlets Las Vegas.
Tout à fait d'accord avec toi. Personnellement, nous avons dormi au Luxor à 202 euros la nuit, au Mirage à 264 euros la nuit, j'ai payé la place pour aller voir Céline Dion : 194 euros, Mystère et O du Cirque du soleil 198 euros pour 2 personnes (chacun des spectacles), le magnifique tour en hélico. au dessus du Grand Canyon et survol du strip au retour, avec Papillon + dépose au fond du canyon et balade en bâteau :524 euros pour 2 😛
Sans compter 180 euros la nuit au Goulding's lodge à Monument Valley, 150 euros la nuit au Bryce canyon lodge, seul hôtel dans le parc ou encore 120 euros la nuit à San Francisco... et pourtant je ne suis pas pétée de tunes !!!!!!
Pour pouvoir me payer tous ces petits luxes, j'ai économisé pendant..... 3 années entières 😕😕
Ce qui veut dire que pendant 3 ans, je ne suis pas payée de vraies vacances (j'ai la chance d'habiter à Marseille où la mer n'est vraiment pas loin et d'avoir ma famille en Corse).
Je voulais faire un voyage inoubliable avec mon homme et ma fille de 16 ans et dans des beaux hôtels et je m'en suis donnée les moyens !!!!! 3 mois et demi après notre retour, je suis encore en train de payer pour rembourser tous les souvenirs que nous avons ramené, et les plaisirs que nous nous sommes faits sur place et qui n'étaient pas prévu dans notre budget !!
Chaque personne a une vision différente d'un voyage et de la manière qu'on veut le vivre.....
Je ne critique pas ceux qui dorment dans des campings ou même dans une voiture, et même loin de là car je suis sure que pour ceux qui aiment, ce doit être très enrichissant, mais moi, je ne préfère pas partir que vivre de cette manière.
Je préfère partir tous les 2 ou 3 ans et avoir un certain confort et par dessus tout, pouvoir me payer de petits luxes sans pour cela penser ou faire croire que je suis une richarde 😉😉😉

Voila tout à fait ma façon de penser et de voyager aussi et je viens tout juste de rentrer de l'ouest américain ou j'ai passé trois semaines. En passant par le net et quelques sites bien ciblés, nous avons pu trouver des nuits dans tous les grands parcs et grands sites pour environ 80 €uros la nuit dans des hôtels type Best Western ou Quality inn.
Pour Vegas, nous avons logés au Venetian en nous faisant un gros plaisir en nous offrant une suite bella vista pour 350 €uros la nuit avec Opodo..... et pourtant je ne suis pas non plus "bourré de tunes"...
Mais de toute évidence, certains sur ce site ne pense pas plus loin que le bout de leur "petit" nez et ferait mieux de s'abstenir plutôt que d'écrire de telles conneries!
Bon juste pour en rajouter une couche sur ce que dit Yamen ( décidemment c'est pas son jour ) j'ai séjourné il y a 10 jours au Luxor pour 95 dollars par nuit à 3 ce qui n'est pas cher (réservation Expédia) et d'après ce que je me rappelle le Caesar n'aurait pas couté beaucoup plus. Donc c'est vrai que pour un voyage qui reste quand même un évènement il serait bon de laisser à chacun le choix de ce qu'il considère comme à sa portée ou non.
Je ne suis pas "pété de tunes" et ce voyage m'a couté tout ce que j'avais, n'empèche l'expérience Caesar je l'aurais bien tentée et je soutiens tous ceux qui auront la chance de se la faire, pétés de tunes ou non !
Sans aller aussi loin dans mes propos, je pense que tu as une manière de penser et de concevoir un voyage qui n'est simplement pas la même que d'autres personnes dont je fais partie...

car premièrement je ne savait pas trop ce que ça voulait dire étant du Québec. J'en ai déduis que c'était comme Pêteux de broues comme on dit au Québec. Mais je n'ai pas choisi cette hôtel de mon plein gré. Voilà c'est un voyage que j'ai gagné à la radio. Hotel + vol + spectacle de Céline inclus. Salut, je reviens de Las Vegas il y a à peine 1 semaine. Il fait tres tres chaud la bas.....je sais pas quand tu y va mais si c'est bientôt prends en note.....
C'est un endroit magnifique 😉!!!! Tu es tres chanceuse d'avoir gagné ce voyage. Moi je m'étais ammener seulement 200$ de dépenses pour 3 jours, j'en ai eu en masse...Même pour jouer un peu. Tu dois fouiller dans les livres qui te donnes la bas pour les meilleurs buffets. Nous avons pris un buffet à 26.99$ par personne, plus le verre de vin a 12$ au Spicy Buffet du Aladdin (supposément le meilleur de Vegas), ca valait jamais ca...... Donc ne te fit pas au prix. Ma mère qui y allait pour la 3e fois dit avoir mieux mangé dans un buffet à 11.99 que l'on trouve dans le vieux Vegas.
Au new york new york tu peux trouver de petits restos pas cher, et pas juste du fast food. Va aussi souper au Margaritaville qui est en face du mirage, donc pas loin du Ceasars, super l'fun, bonne bouffe, animation et ambiance. Pas cher en plus. 30$ pour 2, boissons incluses......
Je suis aussi allé voir céline.......Moi je l'ai vu souvent ici à Montréal et je suis un peu décu. elle semble fatiguée...Mais le show en tant que tel est magnifique !!!
Il y a tellement de chose à voir et à faire, tu n'auras pas assez de tes yeux !!!!!

Mais pas grave j'étais très contente....hihihi J'espère juste d'avoir assez de temps pour voir tout les hotels que je veux voir. Comme tu viens de Montréal tu dois connaitre la station de radio rock détente! J'ai gagné ce voyage la semaine dernière avec eux, j'en reviens pas encore. Les billets pour Céline ont été libéré directement par René Angelil donc y parait que j'aurai de très bon billet. Je reviendrai vous dire mes commentaires. Sur le Strip il y a toujours quelque chose à voir ( eaux, son et lumières au Bellagio, volcan au Mirage, bataille navale au Treasure Island etc...) et c'est gratuit .Entre dans les hotels, c'est du toc mais il faut savoir l'oublier pour en prendre plein les yeux .Un truc qui est vraiment pas mal c'est FREMONT EXPERIENCE mais c'est à DOWNTOWN un peu loin du Strip .Question bouffe, le buffet du Caesar's est pas mal et dans les casinos en général ils ne sont pas chers et extremement fournis(ce qui m'a laissé une désagréable impression d'opulence et de gaspillage d'ailleurs...)

Hello everyone! Really damaged due to flooding caused by runoff after forest fires (a total mess!), does anyone in this friendly forum have any updates on the Apache Trail between Apache Junction and Roosevelt Dam? Is there still a section of the road that’s tough to navigate?
We're leaving at the end of June and will be driving the route between Buffalo and Cody. We’ve already booked our accommodations and a rodeo in Cody, but during the day, we’ll be driving between the two and I’m unsure about the itinerary.
Which route do you think is the most pleasant, interesting, or scenic between:
- The northern route via Highway 14 with Sheridan, Lowell, etc.
- The southern route with Highways 16/20/14, passing by Loaf Mountain Overlook, Powder River Pass, Ten Sleep Canyon...
We’ll be in a car, so we should be able to drive on any road.

I’m almost done planning our September road trip. After our 3-night visit to Sequoia, we’ll have a stopover night in Coalinga (to break up the drive). We’ll be staying two nights in Monterey and would like to stop along the way to visit one side of Pinnacles National Park. We’re torn between the West entrance and the East entrance, and we’d like to do a short hike of no more than 2 hours since we don’t want to arrive too late in Monterey.
This park is split into two distinct zones with no connection between them, and the mileage from Coalinga to Monterey is pretty much the same for both. Which area do you recommend visiting—east or west? And which route is the most scenic?
I’ve spotted two short hikes:
- East: Moses Spring to Rim Trail Loop
- West: Balconies Cliffs Cave Loop
Has anyone been there, or do you have another hike to suggest?

After our first trip as a young couple to the West in 2007 (yes, that doesn’t make us any younger!), we’re planning to go back in 2028, but this time as a family of four! (We have two boys who’ll be 5½ and 13 years old in the summer of 2028.)
Our plan is to combine a few big cities (SF and LA, maybe San Diego) with national parks and state parks, mostly!
Ideally, we’d like to leave at the end of June and head back to France around July 19–20, so we can enjoy the first week of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Since we already did the "loop" in 2007, there are must-see places we absolutely want to revisit—and especially share with our kids: Bryce Canyon, Yosemite, and above all, the Grand Canyon, which is still the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen on Earth!
On the other hand, some places didn’t leave a big impression on us for various reasons, so we’re not making them a priority: Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, for example.
We’re planning ahead, but might as well be smart about it😏
Do you have any tips for a fun and doable itinerary over about 20–25 days with kids, without rushing?

Just a quick question about King Canyon and Sequoia National Park.
Before our night in Miramonte, we plan to visit King Canyon. The next stop will be two nights in Three Rivers to explore Sequoia National Park. I wanted to go all the way to Roaring River Falls on the King Canyon Scenic Byway and then turn back to head to Miramonte. Since we’re coming from Oakhurst, Google Maps says it’s 300 km and 5 hours of driving. Since we also want to hike to see the sequoias (Big Stump Area and Grand Grove) before tackling the King Canyon Scenic Byway, the timing’s going to be tight. How far do you recommend going before turning back to miss as few points of interest as possible on the King Canyon Scenic Byway? Thanks for your advice, and have a great evening!

We’ll be alternating between house swaps, motels, and campgrounds. I’ve booked all the accommodations (except the campground at Bryce since sunset bookings open only 14 days in advance) and the first activities, as well as the most touristy ones.
I’m currently putting together my day-by-day roadbook and having some trouble planning certain days, like in LA or Las Vegas. Choosing hikes isn’t easy either—it’s tough to decide!

I’d like to travel along I-15N from San Diego to Las Vegas with my mom, who’s 67. We’ve explored Northern California and the California Coast over the past two years and now want to continue through the desert.
There are several attractions along the way:
- Mormon Rocks
- Desert Discovery Center and visit the Old Woman meteorite
- Joshua Tree National Park
- Mojave Desert
- Mojave National Preserve
- Anza-Borrego Desert State Park
- Silverwood Lake
My mom has back issues that prevent her from hiking or walking on trails with elevation changes. Is it possible to visit these places by car, or are the routes flat enough?
I’d love for her to experience the desert with an itinerary adapted to her condition. I’m also open to other points of interest that aren’t mentioned. We have 3-4 days for the trip, so we’re not in a rush—just want to explore.
I’d love to take a road trip and visit Nova Scotia. I’d appreciate some info on the best cities to see and the most interesting spots. The trip should last about 10 to 15 days, staying in hotels or motels. Thanks in advance!

Is it pretty easy to navigate Detroit Airport to catch the connecting flight to Grand Rapids (domestic flight)? There are several of them who speak English well.

We’d like to walk to Eagle Falls and then Eagle Lake. I’ve spotted two parking lots that seem close to each other and give access to the trailhead. Where and how do we pay for entry to Emerald Bay State Park and Inspiration Point?
**Viewpoints on the East Side:**
Are most of the viewpoints (Balancing Rock, Granite Cave, Bonsai Rock, etc.) right by the road, or do you have to hike to reach them?
**Donner Memorial State Park:**
Is it worth making a detour to Truckee to visit this park and the Truckee historic downtown?

I'm shocked by the price of the Upper Antelope Canyon tour—$175 for less than an hour… You might say, "if you can’t afford it…" But the real question is whether it’s really worth it, because $350 for two makes me feel like I’m getting ripped off. I’ve read there are trails to access the trailheads for Cinder Cone (11 km) and Warner Valley. Are these easy trails for an SUV?
Are there any other must-see spots or things we shouldn’t miss?

I’m a total USA addict. I’ve already done several road trips, including the East Coast and West Coast.
I’m here today because I’m planning to go back for another road trip on the West Coast. Possibly with one of my sisters and a couple of friends. It’s still just a plan for now, but I’m working on an itinerary in the meantime. Ideally, I’d leave in 2026, but I don’t have the exact dates yet—maybe April-May or September-October.
My last trip to the West Coast was in September 2014. We went for 2 weeks, but this time it’d be 3 weeks. What made me want to go back was simply a colleague who just left today. As I’m writing this, he’s on the plane. I’m so happy for him, but now all I can think about is going back.
Since I recently went to NY, I noticed that prices have really gone up. I assume the same is true for the West Coast? For 2 people over 3 weeks, what budget should I expect? We’re the type to watch our spending and find great tips.
I think we’ll arrive in San Francisco like the first time and leave from either Los Angeles or Las Vegas.

Travelers to the United States | Photo Now Mandatory Upon Entry and Exit | La Presse
I assume many of you already know, but the America the Beautiful annual pass, which was $80, will increase to $250 starting January 1, 2026.
So if you're planning to travel before the end of December 2026, it's in your best interest to buy your pass in December 2025, since it will still cost $80 and be valid until the end of December 2026 if you purchase it in December 2025.
This price increase only applies to non-U.S. residents.
Additionally, for those who planned to visit just one park, a $100 surcharge per person will apply to access a list of 11 national parks...
For example, if there are 4 of you in a car, you’ll have to pay $35 + $400,
which comes to $435 to visit one of the 11 parks on the list (I don’t have all of them... Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, etc.).
Total madness.
The goal is to push people who only visit one park into buying the annual pass.
Last point: free entry days are over for non-residents!

We just finished 9 days in the American West and wanted to share our experience because we had an amazing time.
I know some of you might ask, why use an agency? Honestly, we didn’t really feel like doing all the driving and planning, especially since we didn’t know the area at all. And since our English isn’t great, having French-speaking guides was a big comfort.
We found Emmanuelle and Isabelle, and wow, they were fantastic. It was just the two of us with them, so it was a truly VIP, ultra-personalized experience. The service was really personalized. They adapted to our pace and preferences, and we could stop whenever we wanted to take photos. It’s the luxury of being in a small private group—you’re not just a number on a big bus.
In short, we really felt like we were traveling with friends rather than professional guides. Everything’s included in the price (hotel pickup, meals, park entries, etc.), so the value for money is fair.
We loved it so much that we’re already planning to come back next year to explore other areas with them. I think we’ve caught the American West bug—it’s all we can think about, and we can’t wait to return.
