ma societe m'a proposé une expatriation au gabon pour y travailler (2 ans) avec un salaire de 3 milles auro hors loyer et voiture.
mes question sont les suivantes : quel sont les quartiers residentiel tranquille et propre de libreville ? est ce que l'integration est facile ? est ce qu'avec 3000 euro ça ira pour un celibataire ? je cherche une compagnante ou collocatrice française, marocaine ou tunisiennes ? la criminalité au Gabon : on parle de chiffre allarmant ! est ce vrai ?
Pas de problème en célibataire en plus.Attention si l'eau et l'électricité sont à ta charge celà est assez cher .
Quartier résidentiel, il y a la sablière, les hauts de Gué Gué il y a qqs maisons sinon plus proche du centre comme à la maringa...le centre ville est intéressant car tu n'as pas besoin de sortir la voiture forcément, le bord de mer n'est pas loin et ce n'est pas la cohue d'autres grandes villes africaines.
Pour l'intégration ça dépend du contexte dans lequel tu te trouves par ton boulot etc, ne pas se précipiter tete baissée dans une amitié nouvelle, c'est mieux de prendre son temps...
La criminalité a augmenté....on m'à parlé de ça ce qui ne serait pas étonnant vu les conditions de vies dans les quartiers, matitis....quand j'y étais ça allait mais évidement tu te promènes pas la nuit à pieds, et tu vas pas dans certains quartiers point. Après la période d'observation et d'adaptation (ça peut aller vite) la vie est agréable .

Je suis à LBV depuis 2002.
Cette ville est agréable a vivre, car petite ville, pas trop grande (le gabon n'a que 1, 5 MF d'habitant).
Cela ressemble un peu a une ville de province francaise...
On trouve a peu pres tout ici, meme si les prix sont elevés (bcp d'importation)
Pr les logements, tout dépend de ce que vous recherchez, bien sur, car il ya de tout...
Du studio "au quartier à 60.000 CFa, jusqu'a la villa à5 MFCFA.
Pour info, un appart ds immeuble neuf quartier résidentiel, trois chambres, 250 m2 pour 800.000 FCFA.
Vous trouverez des appart sympa pour 400/450.000 FCFA.
Pour l'ecole, le lycée blaise pascal qui est LE lycée francais (lié à l'académie de bordeaux de mémoire)
Par contre couteux, de mémoire 500.000 / trimestre si je me souviens bien.
Le transport scolaire n'est pas un pb ici (taxi, covoiturage, ...)
Il n'y a pas de danger ds la ville en tant que tel, si ce n'est comme ds toute capitale, bien sur, on entend de plus en plus parler d'agression, mais bon....
Je pense que pas trop de risque, si un minimum d'attention...
Le pays est stable pour l'instant, toutefois, on attend l'apres bongo!!!
étant donné que tu vis à Libreville depuis plusieurs années, pourrais tu m'informer sur ce qu'on appelle le statut d expatrié; je suis français, cela signifie t il que si je travaille pour une société gabonaise, je dois avoir un contrat de droit français ou cela n a t il rien à voir et la société pourrait vouloir me faire signer un contrat de droit local?
ou l expatriation a t elle simplement à voir avec le package qui peut etre négocié, c est le droit du contrat qui m inquiete.
Si d aventure je devais signer un contrat de droit gabonais, quels sont les conseils que tu pourrais me donner, clauses à ne pas accepter ou à ne pas oublier( srtt en cas de litige ou de fin de contrat...).
Le statut "expatrié" correspond en fait aux accessoires du contrat de travail.
Soit tu bosses en france et tu es envoyé par ton employeur actuel, donc tu es détaché au gabon.
Soit tu signes un contrat au gabon, avec une boite gabonaise ou francaise.
Théoriquement, si tu signes un contrat en résident hors gabon, tu peux négocier que soit mentionner dans le contrat qu en cas de litige, le tribunal compétent soit ton lieu de résidence en France, qui applique le droit gabonais.
JKe dis bien théoriquement, car dans les faits, ca ne se fait pas... un futur employeur a qui tu negocie en prévision de litiges ne te fera simplement pas de contrat, et la coopération judiciazire france - gabon... foutaise
De toutes facons, saches que ds la majeure partie du temps, tu signes un contrat de droit local.
Par contre l'important (étant moi meme salarié et employeur par delegation) c est de bien ficeler les accessoires du contrat.
Le salaire c est une chose... mais pas besoin de moi pour te le dire. Quoi que, c est un salaire en euros ou en CFA? En net ou en brut? (a la devaluation de 94, les salaires se sont reterouves divisés par deux par exemple)
Mais le reste :
- assurances maladie (quelle couverture, ...etc)
- logement (les contrats prevoient generalement le logement et les gros meubles). Mais il y a logement et logement... Quel type, quel budget, ...c'est une maison en bois dans les matiti ou une villa ds quartier residentiel? Les gros meubles c'est quoi? Juste un lit une table, ou le minimum standard pour vivre (electromenager, ...)
- vehicule (il est souvent fourni ds contrat expat) : c'est un 4x4, une 306 (qui reste bloqué ds ts les trous?)...
- y a til une prise en charge d une partie de personnel (gardien si c est une villa par exemple)
- ecole des enfants : Prise en charge ou non?
- voyage : prise en charge des billets avions salarié et famille? combien de fois par an et quelle classe?
Je conseille personnellement de bien ficeler tout ces points que l on neglige souvent mais qui sont pourtant important de savoir, afin que les choses soient claires des le debut et pas de malentendu...
Ca peut paraitre annexe, mais le personnel de maison, le mobilier, l ecole... peuvent revenir assez cher à la longue...
Il ne faut pas réver, sache qu'il n y a pas de tribunal de prud homme au gabon...
out ca sont des points a bien ficeler avant de partir, mais ceci dit je ne connais pas de memoire de personnes qui se soient reellement fait rouler... dans l ensemble c est interessant...
Apres tout depend des boites, du domaine, etc...
Si tu pars chez les petroliers, tu peux aussi negocier un bateau pour le week end (ca c est deja vu ds un autres pays voisins... mais chut j ai rien dit)

Cadre français supérieur, je suis, conformément, à mes vœux appelé à rejoindre Libreville en juillet prochain (2011) pour y occuper un poste à responsabilités pour 2 ans.
Mon épouse et mes enfants resteront à Paris. Je rejoindrai LBV seul en qualité d’expatrié.
Je cherche donc un logement sur LBV en rapport avec ma situation et mes attentes : probablement accaparé par mon travail, ma recherche s’oriente vers un appartement, une colocation, une chambre (ou l’équivalent) confortable, peut etre meublé et bien situé, de préférence vers l’aéroport ou le centre ville.
Précisant que je suis un cadre sérieux, correct, sobre et respectueux, disposez vous d'une offre correspondante ou qui pourrait répondre à mes attentes ??

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
