Je suis Québécoise et je viens d'apprendre que je suis acceptée à l'université de Tours! Génial!! Mais encore faut-il trouver à se loger... Je suis un peu perdue et j'angoisse un tantinet 😕
Si vous êtes déja parti étudier à l'étranger, comment avez-vous fait pour le logement? Débarquer dans une auberge de jeunesse avec vos valises et chercher sur place?? Ou avez-vous trouvé en colocation via des sites internet??
Ah! et si vous êtes de la région, avez-vous des quartiers de la ville à conseiller ou à déconseiller?? Est-il, en général, difficile de trouver à se loger à Tours??

je ne sais pas trop c est quoi tour meme si j en ai entendu parler, mais je te conseillerais pour n importe quel voyage ou quand tu vas a l étranger de t organiser a l avance au minimun, donc de planifier et faire des recherches pour éviter de perdre ton temps a faire ca sur place alors que tu pourais el faire avant d y aller et cate permetterais de mieux connaitre l endroit, decouvrir plus la region pendant tes libres et moins angoissé, surtout si les manoeuvres pour trouver un appart, etc et la langue sont différente.peux tu travailler comme étudiante a temps partiel meme si tu n es pas de la région?informe toi et demande un visa a l avance si possible.
Le mieux serait peut-être d'y aller (si tu es en Allemagne...).
Peut-être voir avec la mairie de Tours, une association d'étudiants. Tours est une ville universitaire très vivante, j'imagine qu'il y a des associations pour s'occuper de l'installation des étudiants.

Sur google, cliques "CIJ Tours" dans "vie étudiante" en rubrique tu trouveras "se loger"
Les CIJ : Centre d'Information Jeunesse sont des mines d'info pour les jeunes, voire tout public. Ils sauront aussi te documenter tous azimut. On en trouve sur toutes les villes de France maintenant, ils travaillent en réseau avec les bibliothèques et les centres d'orientation et d'information.

Comme tu l'as dis le réseau de bus semble bien alors je crois que je ne serai pas trop exigeante pour la situation géographique de mon futur chez-moi 😛

My name is Deborah, I’m French. I’m married and have two children. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in psychotraumatology, and I’m also pursuing medical studies.
For some time now, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the United States. My long-term goal is to practice medicine in the U.S., with a particular interest in forensic pathology. I know the journey is demanding (USMLE, residency, fellowship, etc.), but I’m ready to commit to several years of hard work.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
