J'aurais aimé avoir votre avis concernant le stationnement à proximité de l'aéroport de beauvais-tille.
En effet je pars plus de 3 semaines en Irelande et compte venir en voiture jusqu'à l'aéroport; mais j'ai vu que les prix du parking de l'aéroport etait assez excessif surtout si je reste plus de 3 semaines en stationnement.
Auriez vous des astuces ou bien connaissez vous des particuliers qui propose un stationnement?

nous nous etions gare en ville apres un bus pour se rendre a l aeroport mais au retour pas de bus qui rentrait sur la ville nous avons fait du stop .mais le parking est moins cher en ville je crois qu il est pres de la cathedrale parking de vinci vous trouverez sur le net a beauvais bon voyage

je vais utiliser la semaine prochaine le parking privé " parking auto tillé " ( voir site ) situé à 700 m de l'aéroport : cout : 7/8 jours = 25 € ; pas de portage vers l'aéroport, chemin à réaliser à pied en déposant une personne à l'aéroport avec les bagages , avant de déposer la voiture; mon avis dans 10 jours
un autre parking privé " air parking beauvais" situé au nord de beauvais ; un peu plus cher mais transfert aller retour par le loueur ; voir tarif sur le site
autre solutions : le park vinci dans beauvais avec utilisation des bus de ville vers l'aéroport ( tarif bas ? ) ou des navettes aéroport 4€/ personne +1€ bagage; attention dernière navette retour à 23 h 15 sinon c'est taxi et le parking vinci ne devient plus interressant

Partant aussi de beauvais , je suis très intéressé sur votre retour du " parking auto tillé" (quand revenez-vous ? je part le 25), j'ai aussi vu la solution "Air parking " qui vient d'ouvrir, mais je préférerais ne pas dépendre d'un chauffeur et ne pas laisser mes clefs.. Ayant aussi des horaires tot le matin et tard le soir le parking auto m'a l'air plus simple et moins cher...
le " parking auto tillé " ; accés facile , méthode de location bonne avec un code d'arrivée adressé par sms ( pour le digicode ) ; paiement par chéque à mettre , avec l'enveloppe et le document à compléter fourni , situé dans le passage d'entrée ( une fois être rentré ) ; quelques voitures peuvent se trouver stationnées sous un abri, mais la majorité est à l'air libre; aprés paiement accepté , le loueur adresse un nouveau code d'entrée afin de pouvoir reprendre son véhicule
le parking est une partie d'une ancienne cour de ferme , avec mur haut extérieur et portail d'entrée de 2 m; les propriètaires habitent dans la 2 ème partie de la cour
pour le trajet vers l'aéroport, il y a plus court que ce qui est indiqué ; à la sortie du portail, passer devant l'église, puis 1 ere rue à gauche, environ 150m dans cette rue , tourner à droite pour passer devant une salle ( qui sera à votre main gauche ) ; puis début d'entrée d'un petit lotissement, prendre la rue de gauche et passer derrière de petits poteaux bois et ( astuce ) passer entre 2 des grands sapins, on entre ainsi au fond du parking officiel: temps de parcourt ( pas vérifié ) mais 5 minutes estimées
il y a un autre parking 300 m plus éloigné que j'ai découvert www.parkingtille.fr , tarif un peu plus élevé , mais les voitures ne sont pas stockées à ce " bureau " elles sont conduite par le loueur vers un parc de 200 places
j'ai eu un contact sur ce forum de " FLR60 " qui loue prés de beauvais hopital contact mail lerouge60@aol.com
Bon ba ca c'est très bien passé rien à signaler, déposer l'argent dans la boite aux lettres et récupéré ma voiture sans encombre en revenant. En trottinant voiture récupérée en 5 min ...

Il faut remplir un petit formulaire et le mettre avec les clés et le règlement (26E pour 6 jours) dans la boite aux lettres. c'est à moins de 10 minutes à pied du T1 de l'aéroport. Au retour, il suffit de taper le code reçu par sms pour récupérer les clés. Simple et efficace, rien à voir avec les tarifs d'arnaque de l'aéroport.

Voilà, c'est bien résumé. Tout s'est bien passé pour nous également : code reçu par mail
la veille du vol, paiement avec l'enveloppe, et c'est vraiment à 5mn de l'aéroport.
Tarif : 25 euros pour 8 jours de parking, qui dit mieux ?
Un petit truc pour se guider : le parking est très proche de l'église, donc le clocher
est un bon repère lorsqu'on vient d'atterrir et qu'on ne se souvient plus trop où
on a garé son carrosse 😉

La réponse de la société, très violente à mon sens a été la suivante: 'Il ne faut pas réserver dans un établissement ou vous n'avez pas confiance, cest nous qui vous rendons service et vous faisons confiance, alors votre réservation est annulé et votre stationnement interdit chercher une autre société. Merci'
Outre les fautes de syntaxe et d'orthographe, j'ai demandé pourquoi une telle réaction alors que ma question me semble légitime, ayant déjà fait les frais en 'faisant confiance'. Aucune réponse.

Moi je n'avais eu aucun problème....mais je n'avais demandé aucun justificatif.
Lorsque tu as des solutions comme ça, peut-être moins "officielles" que le parking
de l'aéroport, il ne faut pas trop chercher à compliquer les choses. Si tu paies moins
cher tu n'auras forcément pas le même service.

apres avoir essaye pas mal de solutions pour le stationnement a tillé, je vais maintenant chez aeropark60. ils sont a quelques minutes de l'aeroport et vous emmenent devant le terminal avec leur navette.jai des enfants et jai adoré ce service car certains parkings sont a 15 min a pied des terminaux. la on ne marche plus!! alors surtout quand il pleut cest parfait. leur mail est aeropark60@orange.fr et leur tel 06.43.20.68.08. moitie prix par rapport au parking de l'aeroport.
Étant donné que tous les parkings privés cités dans cette discussion ont répondu par la négative à ma demande de réservation, je suis à la recherche d'une autre solution...Connaissez-vous d'autres parkings privés peu coûteux ? Est-il toujours possible de se garer dans les rues de Beauvais (puis de marcher ou prendre le bus jusque Tillé) ? Pour ma part j'appelle 8 a 10 jours avant mon voyage et chez aeropark 60 jai toujours eu de la place.
Peut être effectivement qu'en période pleine il faut un peu plus anticiper.
Mais en tout cas tu ne seras pas decu.
On part l esprit plus tranquille en sachant sa voiture en securite.
Nous avons testé parking Beauvais : une très agréable surprise ..... Vous laissez votre voiture a 10 mn a pied de l'aéroport bon 15 avec un enfant de 3 ans et les valises ;)
Et a larrivee le monsieur vous donne un code pour récupérer vos clés .... Et même si vous vous trompez d'horaire le monsieur est joignable par texto .... Une bonne expérience que nous renouvellerons sans aucun doute !!!

Je souhaite partager ma mauvaise expérience avec ce parking privé.
A mon retour de vacances, j’avais bien reçu le code ainsi que le numéro de boîte. Cependant, arrivé sur le parking (vers 9h, après 4h de voyage et 15 minutes de marche), ma voiture n’était pas présente. J’ai tout de même récupéré la clé dans la boîte et ai enclenché l’ouverture à distance. Une voiture s’est ouverte, il s’agissait d’un véhicule de la même marque sauf que celle-ci était un modèle plus vieux de 10 ans que ma voiture ! Par chance un employé (ou le responsable) était présent dans le local. Nous lui expliquons alors notre problème. Celui-ci ne comprend pas ce qui a bien se passé, puis commence à tenter de trouver la cause du problème. Exténué par mon voyage, je lui demande de bien vouloir aller chercher mon véhicule et que je me fiche de la raison de leur dysfonctionnement. Celui-ci nous demande alors de patienter « quelques » minutes. 20 minutes plus tard (dans le froid, avec femme et enfants, tous aussi fatigué les uns que les autres) ce monsieur arrive « au volant de ma voiture » à vive allure, moteur rugissant. En descendant du véhicule, celui me dit : « j’ai compris ce qu’il s’est passé, vous avez payé 22 euro (soit 3 jours) au lieu de 24 euro (soit 4 jours). Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, je vous fais cadeau des 2 euro. Bonne journée, au revoir » puis se dirige vers son local (selon moi, du lundi 16h au jeudi 10h, cela fait 2 jours et 18h, soit 3 jours à payer (« jour entamé=jour du ») - selon ce monsieur, cela fait 4 jours). Je le rattrape alors et lui demande s’il va sérieusement nous faire payer le parking ou s’il s’agit d’une blague de mauvais goût. Ce à quoi il répond : « Bien sûr que vous allez payer, je vous fais déjà cadeau de 2 euro, vous croyez quoi ? Si vous n’aviez pas été malhonnête, on aurait peut-être pu discuter. Bonne journée et au revoir » tout en me claquant la porte au nez.
Déjà anxieux à l’idée d’utiliser un parking privé et de laisser le volant de ma voiture à un « inconnu », cette expérience constitue pour moi la première et dernière expérience de ce type.
Vu la façon d’accueillir la clientèle, mais également la façon de « conduire » les véhicules, plus jamais je n’abandonnerai ma voiture dans un parking de ce type et plus généralement dans un parking ou l’on doit fournir les clés dans le but de déplacer le véhicule.
En espérant que ce message servira d’avertissement aux prochains potentiels « clients » de ce parking et en espérant que ce message portera préjudice à cette entreprise.

SARL AME (aéropport de Beauvais) = Parking DOUTEUX, TRES TRES DOUTEUX...
J'ai récemment déposé mon véhicule dans ce parking, en très bon état de fonctionnement bien qu'il soit ancien. Je l'ai récupéré dans un état altéré qui me contraint à devoir racheter une voiture...
Tout d'abord, le fonctionnement de ce parking amène le client à déposer la clé et le reglèment dans une enveloppe qu'il signe (qu'il dépose ensuite dans une boîte aux lettres) et qui vaut contrat. Mais seule la société conserve ladite enveloppe. Le client laisse donc sa voiture, sa clé, sans rencontrer qui que ce soit et sans avoir un exemplaire ni même une trace dudit contrat.
Cinq jours après avoir déposé ma voiture, je la récupère sur le parking où je l'ai déposée. Ce petit parking n'est pas le lieu où elle a été stationnée durant mon absence et j'ignore encore où se trouve ce parking "sécurisé"... Aucune information n'est disponible à ce sujet.
En récupérant mon véhicule, je constate que le cache du levier de vitesse est défait, ce qui est surprenant.
Néanmoins, à 23h, je reprends la route après l'avoir replacé. Quelques minutes après mon départ, la 5e vitesse refuse de passer. J'insiste, elle finit par passer. Le problème se répète plusieurs fois avec la seconde, puis la première au point où, sur l'autoroute, j'ai pu constater que le levier de vitesse n'était plus relié à la boîte de vitesse, qu'il bougeait aléatoirement... La boîte de vitesse est bloquée en 4e, plus aucun changement n'est possible...
Aucun signe de défaillance de la tringlerie n'a été repéré avant de confier mon véhicule dans ce parking soit disant "sécurisé". Malgré l'ancienneté de ma voiture, les vitesses passaient sans forcer, sans aucunn problème... Le garagiste qui a changé l'alternateur en fin d'année m'avait bien dit qu'elle tournait comme une horloge !
Il se passe que la pièce en question n'est plus fabriquée par le constructeur, ce qui constitue un mobile à la "visite" inappropriée et inopinée de la mécanique de ma voiture.
En conséquence, si je parviens à trouver la pièce à la casse et un garagiste qui accepte de la monter (et là rien n'est moins sûr...), je pourrai la conserver, sinon je devrai racheter une voiture...
Alors oui, cette société de parking soit disant "sécurisé" est TRES TRES DOUTEUSE.
Je recommande vivement à chacun de S'ADRESSER AILLEURS POUR CONFIER SON VEHICULE à proximité de l'aéroport de Beauvais.

Sinon, pour moins de 8 jours (le délai légal), vous pouvez aussi vous garer dans la ville de Beauvais, près du parc Marcel Dassault : places gratuites, coin relativement sûr, et bus ligne 12 (1 euro le ticket), fréquence aux 45 mn, qui vous laisse en 5 mn juste devant l'aéroport. 😉

Three years after exploring northern Argentina and Chile, my two travel buddies and I want to discover the southern part of these two countries.
We’re traveling on a budget, backpacker-style, favoring public transport and modest accommodations, but we don’t hesitate to splurge a little when it’s worth it.
The classic spots that have been fueling our dreams: Bariloche, the lakes, Chiloé, El Chaltén, Torres del Paine, Perito Moreno, El Calafate, Fitz Roy, Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego, and wrapping up in Valparaíso.
We’ll take a round-trip flight to Santiago, then I’m thinking of a one-way flight from Santiago to Punta Arenas. From there, we’ll explore and do several day hikes in the south, including Ushuaia and, if possible, Tierra del Fuego.
Then we’ll head back north by bus to Bariloche and the lakes, followed by Chiloé, then a bus to Santiago and Valparaíso.
Based on your experience, could you help me figure out the best way to structure this trip and maybe suggest some ideas?

We’re a young couple planning to travel to South Africa after spending about three weeks in Namibia. We’ll arrive in Cape Town around mid-December, with no fixed travel duration (though our budget will eventually set a limit).
After browsing through the forum, we’ve realized the country is packed with incredible spots, which makes choosing an itinerary tough. We’re looking for stunning landscapes, hikes, and so on. So, we’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
When we arrive in Cape Town, we’d like to settle in and take it easy until New Year’s, exploring at a relaxed pace. We know this period coincides with South African holidays—does that make finding accommodations (availability/prices) more difficult? Do you think it’s possible to stay in a nice place for about 15 days without aiming for the most upscale neighborhoods? Maybe somewhere a bit outside Cape Town, like Fish Hoek, and just visit the city occasionally.
After that, we’ll have plenty of time (about 2 to 2.5 months) to explore the country. We’d like to take our time. In your opinion, is it better to focus on the Cape Town region, or is it reasonable to consider more distant areas like the Drakensberg or Blyde River Canyon? Can everything be done by car if we take our time, or are domestic flights sometimes more practical?
Budget-wise, how much do car rentals cost? For accommodations, we usually look at Airbnb—are they affordable in South Africa? What’s the average nightly rate outside the biggest cities? Are there other platforms you’d recommend for saving on lodging?
Finally, regarding safety, are there any regions to avoid besides Johannesburg?
We know this is a lot of questions, but we’re still in the early planning stages!

After exploring southern Peru in 2024 with your help, we’d love to head north next. There’ll be 5 or 6 of us:
1. Arrive in Lima in the evening.
2. Visit Lima and take a flight at 6:35 PM to Tarapoto.
3, 4, 5. Spend a few days there to trek in a reserve (Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve) or somewhere else.
6. From Tarapoto to Chachapoyas—either by overnight bus, daytime bus, or private car.
7. In Chachapoyas: Gocta Waterfall, Sonche Canyon, and walk back to town.
8. Head to Kuelap citadel, Revash, and arrive in Leymebamba.
9. Leymebamba museum, then route to Cajamarca.
10. Cajamarca hot springs, overnight bus to Trujillo or Chiclayo—or do both.
11, 12, 13. Visit and explore the area.
14. Overnight bus back to Lima.
15. Lima.
16. Depart at 8 PM for France.
What do you think of this itinerary? Looking forward to your advice.

I’d like to drive to Morocco from Paris via Spain. I was really surprised to see the ferry crossing prices—around 500 €—but especially the crossing time (about 1 hour). Normally, I pay 3000 € to go to Tunisia from Genoa, but that’s for a 24-hour crossing.
My question: is it cheaper to buy the ticket on the spot, as some Moroccans have advised me? Though I’ve also heard the opposite.
What do you think, considering I need to get to Tétouan around July 17th and return from Tangier around August 4th?

I’m planning a 10-day trip to Slovenia in May (9–19 May) and starting to look at accommodations. Unfortunately, I’m only seeing relatively expensive options—nothing under 50 €, and usually around 100–150 €. Traveling solo, that could quickly blow my budget. And 30 € for a bed in a 10-person dorm at a youth hostel feels like a rip-off...

I’m diving into planning a trip I’ve dreamed of for a long time: crossing Africa from North to South solo, with a departure planned for October 2025 for about 8-9 months. I’m leaving from Paris with a starting budget of around 7,000 €, aiming to supplement it with work along the way.
My planned route: Senegal → Gambia → Sierra Leone/Liberia (if logistics work out) → Côte d'Ivoire → Ghana → Togo → Benin → Cameroon → Gabon → Kenya (Masai Mara) → Uganda (Bwindi gorillas) → Rwanda → Tanzania (Kili + Serengeti + Zanzibar) → Mozambique → Malawi → Zambia (Victoria Falls) → Botswana → Namibia → South Africa (Cape Town). Madagascar as a bonus if timing/budget allows from Mozambique.
I’m not a backpacking newbie—I’ve done several trips in Europe and I’m familiar with the lifestyle, hostels, local transport, etc. But Africa is my first big adventure on this continent, and I’ve got some very concrete questions I’d love feedback on from people who’ve been there.
🎭 My big dilemma: flexibility vs. pre-organized work
What matters most to me is NOT rushing through. If I feel good somewhere, I’ll stay longer. If a region doesn’t click, I’ll cut it short. That seems totally incompatible with having pre-booked work or volunteer gigs, yet I need that income to stretch my budget.
I’m torn between two approaches:
Option A: The mixed rhythm: 3-4 weeks of volunteering in a country (free accommodation, full immersion), then 1-2 countries in classic backpacker "vacation" mode, then another mission somewhere, etc. This gives a breathing rhythm and avoids burnout from non-stop volunteering.
Option B: The continuous flow: finding gigs as I go, from the previous country, contacting hosts 2-3 weeks in advance with a flexible date range. Keeping maximum spontaneity but never arriving anywhere without a safety net.
Have you tried either? What actually works on the ground in Africa?
🌍 What I’m really looking for in this trip
Not just the classic tourist spots. I want to see the country as it is—eating at local joints, taking local transport (bush taxis, minibuses, sept-places), staying with locals when possible. The big reserves and safaris are part of the plan (Masai Mara, Serengeti, Okavango), but just as much as hanging out in a residential neighborhood in Dakar, understanding how people really live.
Volunteering or work interests me for that reason too (not just for free lodging, but because it’s the deepest way to dive into a country). Working at a school in Ghana, a lodge in Kenya, a permaculture farm in Mozambique—I see it as an immersion that classic tourism can’t offer.

About Workaway and Worldpackers: I’ve read a lot but would love on-the-ground feedback, especially for West and East Africa. Are hosts really flexible with dates for long-term travelers? Do the advertised gigs match reality? Are there alternative platforms you’d recommend for Africa specifically (I’ve heard of Help Exchange, WWOOF Africa, local networks…)?
About "off-platform" jobs: Is it really doable to find informal work on the spot (bars, restaurants, lodges) without prior contacts? In which countries/cities is this most accessible for a French speaker without a local work permit?
About logistics between countries: For those who’ve done the West Coast (Senegal → Ghana → Benin), how did you cross borders? Direct buses or local shared taxis at each border? And for the jump from Central Africa → Kenya, is a flight mandatory, or are there feasible overland routes?
About Madagascar: I’m considering adding it from Mozambique (flight Maputo or Beira → Tana). Those who’ve done it backpacker-style on a tight budget—is 3-4 weeks doable, or is it too short to be worth it?

We’ve got a budget of 8,000 €, and I was thinking of doing three or four days of safari and three or four days in Zanzibar, but even that seems like it might be over budget. Have you got any thoughts? I was also considering heading straight to Zanzibar and doing a one- or two-day excursion by plane instead—maybe that’d be cheaper than staying in a lodge.

Now, after seeing and reading a bit everywhere, and with the first quotes for a 6/7-day safari, I’m shocked by the prices (like $2,250) for places like Maasai Mara, where entry alone costs $200 per person per day, plus fees for the driver and vehicle.
So if you have any recent great tips or contacts to share to help me out, I’d really appreciate it—because despite the costs, we’d still love to go, while keeping things reasonable.
The most plausible solution is probably renting a vehicle with a driver-guide.
