bonsoir! ajaccio est une belle ville mais on ne vit pas que de soleil!! c'est une ville chère comme d'ailleurs partout en corse. la vie est, selon les syndicats, 30% plus chère que sur le continent. à cela il faut ajouter le coût des transports vers le continent si tu veux aller visiter ta famille! un AR Ajaccio-Marseille par le cargo (départ tous les soirs sauf dimanche) est d'environ 260€ pour 1 adulte, un véhicule et une cabine. Bien sûr il y a la corsica ferries mais elle fait des traversées de jour, auquel cas il faut ajouter l'hôtel à l'arrivée ou avant le départ, sur le continent. bien sûr, ça dépend où tu vas ou si tu peux conduire de nuit.
se loger est aussi difficile que sur le continent. les loyers sont chers et puis il faut trouver. sachant que beaucoup louent un appart pendant l'année scolaire et tu dois dégager pour faire place qux touristes!! ... c'est plus lucratif!!
maintenant la corse est très bien équipée à tous points de vue, les choses ont bien changé ces dix dernières années.
l'accueil, quoi dire?? ça dépend de toi, de ton comportement. si tu es fonctionnaire ou surtout dans la police ou dans ce genre-là, vaut mieux pas ébruiter!! et puis, quand tu retournes sur le continent avec une voiture immatriculée 2A, tu as le "plaisir" de connaitre le racisme anti-corse!!
avant toute installation, pense à l'éloignement, je répète, on ne vit pas que de soleil, de plage... les hivers sont longs comme des jours sans pain, tout est fermé!!
perso ça fait bientôt 40ans que j'y vis.

Ajaccio est, selon ce que j'ai lu et entendu, la ville la plus chère de France puisque le coût de la vie est le plus haut en Corse et qu'Ajaccio est la ville la plus chère en Corse.
C'est une ville comme sur le continent, côté vie pratique (écoles, transports en commun, musées, églises, troquets, boulangeries, grandes surfaces, etc.). Avec des Corses, des pinzutis, des étrangers, avec ses quartiers chicos et agités (beaucoup moins que sur le continent).
Pour la mentalité (qu'on dit bourgeoise), je ne peux rien dire de plus que ce qui est raconté par les autres îliens. Mais ce n'est pas l'ambiance des autres petites villes ou villages d'ici.
On peut trouver de quoi se loger avec patience et opportunité ; il n'y a pas que les locations "à l'année scolaire". Tu as pas mal de petites communes autour d'Ajaccio.
Enfin, pour ce supposé racisme anti-Corses, les plaques d'immatriculation vont permettre à chacun de montrer ou non le département qui héberge le véhicule. De toute façon, on glisse langoureusement par la fin de ces départements, européanisation oblige.

personnellement, ca me herisse un peu tout ce que vous ecrivez.
vous semblez oublier (je m'adresse aux corses) que nous accueillons toujours avec beaucoup de courtoisie et de reverence les "nouveaux venus".
vous etes en train de faire peur à cette pauvre femme!
concernant les prix, on est loin des prix de Paris (immobilier). Il y a plein de locations à l'année, suffit de savoir ce que l'on veut, et de s'adresser aux agences pour plus de choix.
Il est vrai que au niveau consommation, nous n'avons pas de "hard discount" mais que des hyper et supermarchés. les prix sont un peu plus chers en periode estivale, mais rassurez-vous il en faut plus que ca pour voir de la pauvreté dans les rues d ajaccio.
ajaccio (comme bastia) est une ville qui aime le luxe, enfin c est surtout les "insulaires" (et non "îliens") qui aime ce luxe, mais c est encore une fois une question de codes sociaux, on obligent personne à nous copier.
concernant l'insecurité, c est comme partout : pas besoin de cacher que vous soyez gendarmes ou autres fonctionnaires (oh zitè! faudrait arreter de dire n'importe quoi!) si vous respectez les autres, si vous ne prenez pas les autochtones de haut, vous serez accepté, apprecié et vous adorerez cette amitié!
enfin, la Corse et les Corses, soit on aime, soit on deteste, vous avez ici l'avis d'une puriste, née sur cette belle ile.
