- de 700 € pour une maison ??? Pas à Clermont ni Chamalières ni Royat ! Le logement n'est pas très cher si on compare avec Paris et des grandes villes du style Lyon, Toulouse, Montpellier etc

Clermont est très mal desservie que cela soit en train ou en avion.
Les prix des vols sont prohibitifs du fait du monopole d'Air France. On obtient de bien meilleurs tarifs au départ de Lyon.
Les plus de la région :
- nature, authenticité, vie tranquille, pas de délinquance, bien meilleur climat que dans la moitié nord de la France, position géographique propice à la découverte de nombreuses régions française (3heures de Montpellier,4h de bordeaux, 2 heures de Lyon, 2heures du périgord etc) et des c��tes catalanes (espagne à 5 heures)
Les moins:
- nature 😄; vie tranquille😄 et surtout manque d'un aéroport d'envergure pour les voyageurs🙁
J'habitais avant la Normandie. Il n'y a pas photo : le climat auvergnat est bien meilleur!
C'est sûr qu'en hiver il peut neiger et faire très froid mais ce n'est pas si fréquent dans la plaine (Clermont, Riom etc)
Perso, est ce que vous aimez vivre a Clermont ou en Auvergne?
Je regrette juste la faiblesse des moyens de transport et la ville de Clermont n'est pas si belle que celle de Rouen !
L'auvergne correspond aux personnes qui préfèrent la nature, le calme.
C'est simple, la vie en Auvergne, c'est l'inverse de la vie à Paris....
Bien que des Auvergnats vous diront que Clermont, c'est l'horreur : des bouchons, du bruit, trop de monde etc😄😏

J'habite en ville donc....
Personnellement, je n'aime pas du tout la zone qui va de Clermont à Riom (Gerzat, Clermont nord etc) et les villes d'Aubière, Lempdes, Aulnat, Cournon.
C'est la banlieue industrielle et commerciale donc tous les inconvénients de la ville sans aucun avantage.
Les villages qui montent vers les volcans sont plus agréables (mais aussi plus isolés et gare à la neige certains hivers!)
** Connaissez vous des villages pres de Clermont ferrand (rayon de 10 km) avec un beau panorama et des commerces???
Durtol, Royat, Romagnat, Beaumont(partie vieux bourg) bref tout ce qui monte en direction du Puy de Dôme (Ceyrat Orcines Chanonat plus loin). Sinon, les villages dans la plaine après la zone industrielle.
Je ne pourrais pas trop de donner d'indications plus précises vu que je ne suis pas vraiment du coin, seulement à Clermont depuis quelques petites années.
Les 4 premiers villages sont bien reliés par les bus. Après, plus on monte, moins il fera chaud (ca se remarque même en été car Clermont est à 300 m alors que 5-10 km plus loin , on peut être presque à 1000 m!) et plus on a besoin de pneus neiges en Hiver....Il y aura aussi moins de commerces.
Dans la plaine, il faut aussi éviter Aulnat et ses proches environs (aéroport et usines qui puent....)
Je ne suis pas tout à fait d'accord pour dire que le climat auvergnat est bien meilleur que le climat normand.
Je connais la NORMANDIE mais aussi l'AUVERGNE.
En Normandie il y a la basse NORMANDIE et la haute NORMANDIE.Ce n''est pas tout à fait pareil.
En Auvergne il ne fait pas toujours beau.Il peut faire très mauvais temps.
Dire qu'en NORMANDIE il pleut tout le temps relève plus du clicher que de la réalité.
Il peut aussi faire beau.
Le climat auvergnat peut être très froid l'hivers surtout sur les hauteurs.
Bien qu'il puisse y avoir de la neige en NORMANDIE je pense qu'autrement il y fait un peu moins froid qu'en AUVERGNE.

La Normandie a de nombreuses qualités que ne possède pas l'Auvergne. Le climat n'en fait pas partie.
Je préfère la NORMANDIE à l'AUVERGNE car je n'aime pas le climat montagnard froid et humide avec beaucoup de neige.Je préfère un climat pluvieux que neigeux.
Le climat auvergnat est étouffant en pleine chaleur car il manque de vent, suf à aller se promener en haute montagne où le vent soufle plus fort qu'en plaine.
C'est encore pire que le bassin parisien qui est quand même plus venteux et est semi continental et semi océanique.
En Normandie c'est moins étouffant à cause du vent maritime en provenance de l'Atlantique ou de la manche.
A Clermont Ferrand il parait qu'il fait une chaleur étouffante lorqu'il y a du soleil car ce n'est pas au bord de l'eau comme PARIS, LYON, NANTES, BORDEAUX.
Ben heureusement que je n'ai pas cuit le superbe bar que j'ai dégusté hier soir sur les trottoirs du four qu'est Clermont en été parce qu'il n'aurait jamais été cuit ....😮

Été supportable ou pas, ça dépend des gens, je me contenterai de répondre qu'il peut faire assez chaud l'été (35° et plus pas rare) et assez froid l'hiver et de rappeler un élément factuel : Clermont-Ferrand est la ville de plaine française possédant la plus forte amplitude thermique annuelle...
Pour le reste, et pour bien connaître les deux, Vichy est plus sympa à vivre que Clermont-Ferrand et n'est qu'à 45 mn en voiture par la départementale... (ou comment raviver la guerre de clochers...) 😇

A une température et un taux d'humidité similaires, la température ressentie sera la même quel que soit l'endroit. La moyenne d'humidité est certainement facile à trouver dans les stat de la météo.
Faites bien la liste de tous les facteurs qui définissent votre qualité de vie. Le climat est important mais il y a : le salaire moyen et médian, l'indice d'accès à la propriété, taxation municipale, accès à la nature, vie culturelle, moyenne d'âge, etc.😉

Oui mais j'ai entendu dire que CLERMONT FERRAND était franchement étouffant en pleine chaleur.Il parait qu'il n'y a pas du tout de vent du tout contrairement à d'autres villes comme PARIS, NANTES, BORDEAUX OU LYON car il n'ya a pas de fleuve.Et de plus PARIS est une cuvette ouverte alors que Clermont Ferrand serait complètement enclavé par les montagnes.

Lorsque nous lisons les commentaires sur le site 3Clermont ville idéale3, cela ne nous donne pas envie de déménager ! : insécurité, ville grise, commerces qui ferment en centre ville au détriment des centres commerciaux ...Pourtant, cette ville a vraiment un beau potentiel et je ne comprends pas que les Verts ne soient pas plus forts et qu'une vraie politique environnementale , accès sur un développement durable ne soit pas portée par les élus ?
Tout comme vous, on aimerait bien connaître les dynamiques existantes dans les villages proches de Clermont où il ferait bon vivre. Nous comptons plutôt nous installer au sud est de Clermont (par rapport au climat notamment)...
Qui connait des villages où il y aurait une dynamique alternative ? Des associations culturelles/sociales , des villages réputés pour leur dynamisme associative et une vie sociale riche ?
