je suis dans ma 3ième année de l'université, j'étudie le français à Bristol donc je suis en france pour un an comme partie de mon diplôme. Je vais rentre oct pour ma derniere année. Je veut recommender Bristol, c'est une super bonne ville!! C'est assez grande, plein d'étudiants et il y a beaucoup des endroits à aller et visiter, beaucoup de sortes de personnes à rencontre.
Aller à Bristol!! (peut-etre je suis un peu patiale mais je pense que c'est mieux comme ville que Portsmouth.)

Sans aucun doute, je te conseille de choisir Portsmouth, c'est une ville très agréable!! En fait, j'y suis depuis septembre en tant qu'Erasmus...et je n'ai pas de regretter. La ville est de taille moyenne (200 000hbs) mais très bien organisée. tu trouves tout ce qu'il te faut à proximité, et tu es à 1h30 de londres... En plus, Portsmouth forme une presqu'ile, tu peux donc aller te promener sur la plage tous les jours (bien qu'il ne fasse pas très chaud..)
Je veux bien repondre à tes questions si tu as en as, alors n'hesite pas!!
Je voulais savoir ce que tu penses de l'université en elle même et de l'enseignement à Portsmouth? Dans quel type de logement vis-tu à Porstmouth? Est-ce que la vie est plus chère là-bas que dans d'autres villes d'Angleterre?
J'aimerais également savoir, comme tu as été retenue pour le programme ERASMUS, ce que tu avais dit dans ta lettre de motivation (c'est personnel je sais, mais ça pourrais me donner des pistes...).

L'université est pas mal, en fait le campus est en centre-ville et chaque fac a un batiment. La fac de langues est ds le + vieux mais le plus bo batiment .Ce ki change ds les facs anglaises, c qu'elles ont plus de moyens que celles françaises. A la fac de langues, on a 5 salles informatik avec le haut debit, des imprimantes ki marchent... En plus, le gros point positif, c ke la bibliothèque de l'université est ouverte de 8h à minuit tous les jours meme le dimanche, c donc bien si tu ve bosser.
Question logement, je vis ds une Hall of Residence (appelé Rees Hall), c la meilleure de toutes, mais c aussi la plus chere (99 livres /sem). L'avantage, c ke j'ai la nourriture (petit dejeuner et diner) inclus tous les jours, une chambre assez class avec wc et douche, et que tout ca est hyper propre et tres bien surveillé. En plus, je suis face à un parc et à la mer, ds un quartier class (Southsea, le nom fait rever..) et à 15 min de tout... Elles st pas toutes com ca. surtout si tu vas en cité U, ne choisis pas celle ki se situe ds le campus Langstone, parce ke c le bout du monde (45 min de marche depuis l'université), et vu le prix du bus et la frequence, tu investis tres vite ds un velo, enfin, c ce kon m'en a dit et ce ke j'ai pu en voir
Bon, j'ai des amies ki st en coloc, ca se passe bien ou pas, ca depend des colocs, elles payent en moyenne (70 à 80 livres/semaines), c moins cher que la cité U, mais il faut ajouter l'eau, electricité, nourriture...et enlever la tranquilité...
Oui, la vie est chere à Portsmouth, mais c com ca partout en Angleterre!! Compte 20 à 30% plus cher qu'en France.
Je pense que j'ai rien oublié, enfin, si g oublié qqch dis le moi, je te repondrai...

salut je suis Emeline je suis étudiante en deuxième année de chimie à Bordeaux, et avec un ami on compte nous aussi partir à Bristol l'an prochain on a quelques informations mais pas énormément de truc non plus, on pourrai se les échanger?...... Pour ce qui concerne le logement je ne sais pas si elle t'a répondu mais dans tous les cas sache qu'il existe des résidences universitaire (qui font aussi repas le soir mais à ne surtout pas prendre car anglais mange à 18h et pas toujours compatible avec horaire de boulot) Il y a pas mal d'appart voir meme des maison entières réservées aux étudiant car il y a beaucoup d'étudiants à Bristol Dans ce dernier cas il vaut mieux s'inscrire dans une association qui te nouri et te loge pendant 4 jours, le temps pour toi de te trouv er un appart avec leur aide, mais c'est payant.... c'est super sympa de ta part de m'avoir répondu, malheureusement niveau info je suis pas très riche. Nous avons beaucoup de pb pour faire signer le contrat d'acceptation entre notre UFR et le dépertement de sport de Bristol, donc on n'est pas sur de pouvoir partir...

Sans hésitation Bristol (suis une ancienne étudiante de Rennes: Bristol est bcp + grand, et il y a + de choses à faire ici ). Pour tous ceux qui cherchent un logement: via l'université pour les étudiants http://www.bris.ac.uk/accom/, uk.easyroommate.com/ pour la recherche de coloc, ou petites annonces du Bristol Evening Post. Les logements ici sont très chers ( 250-300£/mois min en coloc).

Moi aussi je pars à Bristol le 7 sept ac mon copain. On cherche 1 studio/appart ms c très cher, il faut compter 5500 francs tout compris pr un simple studio ou appart meublé. ils n' accueillent pas les couples en cité U. Je pense qu' on va etre obligé de trouver sur place. Si ça peut t aider, moi je tape des mots clef du genre "bristol rent studio" sur google in english. ya pas mal de choses, après faut contacter les proprio par mail ou tél.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
