j'ai fait la meme chose il y a 4 ans, je suis partis d'octobre à mai.
Quelques petites choses/conseils
Si tu souhaite travailler, la restauration (avec ces avantages et inconvénients) reste très accessible (très peu d'anglais travaillent dedans sauf en cuisine et encore) mais avec tous ces inconvénients.
Si tu souhaites étudier... bon courage (de ce que j'ai vu, c'a l'air compliqué de vivre à londres sans travailler)
Pour le logement, moi je suis resté les premiers mois en hostel. Attention...il y a de tout.... vers bayswater/lancaster gate, c'est le point d'encrage de tous les nouveaux arrivants européens (de l'ouest). Choisit bien et n'hésites pas à changer.
Les chambres seuls sont cher, sinon pour 60 à 80 £ tu peux trouver un lit ds une chambre à 4 pour la semaine.
j'ai pratiqué les premiers mois et ce fut une très bonne expérience (j'ai aussi pu trouver mon job grace à un de mes room mate)
Des conseils en vrac.... méfies toi des agences style london job....(souvent ils peuvent t'envoyer en hostel et te refiler un taff de commis, alors que tu peux te trouver les 2 sans trop de soucis)
Si tu comptes travailler en restauration tu arrives en pleine période creuse ( le rush débute début décembre jusqu'à la premiere semaine de janvier...après ils réduisent les effectifs)
Vas pas t'enfermer en zone 3/4/5, tu seras loin de tout et ce que tu économiseras en loyer tu le dépenseras en oyster card (1 semaine de tram coute dans les 20£)
Si tu étais étudiante, embarque ta carte (tarif réduit dans les transports en commun)
En dessous de la tamise > quartier plus "chaud" ....oval, camberwell, brixton c'est aussi là bas que tu trouveras de super sound system (si tu aimes le reggae, THE sound system à faire est celui du premier vendredi du mois a brixton recreation)
Moi aussi j'aimerai aller en Angleterre. En se moment j'économise (j'essai d'avoir au moi 2000 € par mesure de sécurité) et je me renseigne un peu partout pour savoir comment sa se passe. Je compte egalement y aller debut janvier voir peut-etre avant. Alors si tu souhaite qu'on echange des information tu sais où me trouvé .
Je me presente, julien, j'ai 24 ans et je vais en avoir 25 en decembre, je suis de montpellier ou je suis responsable logistique dans l'agro-alimentaire.
J'ai le projet serieux de partir à Londres alors je ne sais pas trop quand exactement mais pour etre honnete pas dans 1 ans c'est sur. J'aimerai bien partir assez vite mais pas trop car je veux me preparer et assurer le necessaire.

Je suis un mec serieux qui a quand meme une experience mais quand il faut s'amuser je suis vraiment pas contre ... J'ai un niveau pas mal en anglais et moi aussi je cherche un compagnon de galere car je suis certain que à 2 ou meme plus c'est plus simple de se soutenir et surtout plus sympa.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
