Il y a plusieurs types de visas de travail et c'est vraiment mêlant!
Si tu as moins de 30 ans tu peux obtenir ton visa vacances-travail Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme
La paperasse est relativement simple mais tu dois bien lire et relire tout ce que contient ce site.
Tu auras éventuellement à te présenté à un bureau du service de visa pour des empreintes biométrique et le dépôt de ta demande.
Le temps de traitement est très rapide. Le visa est valide sur 2 ans.
Je compte partir en septembre pour un an en Europe, donc plusieurs mois en Angleterre, et je veux obtenir le fameux visa vacances-travail Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme. Toi qui l'a récemment obtenu, je me posais quelques questions.

On prend rendez-vous pour le test biométrique et une fois que c'est fait, c'est dans la poche? Je lis sur le site, mais je voudrais être certaine qu'il s'agit de la bonne marche à suivre!
Aussi, sais-tu si avec ce visa il est possible d'entrer et sortir du UK sans problème, le nombre de fois que l'on veut?

Lorsque tu as fait ta demande en ligne, tu dois imprimer tes papiers et les rassembler avec tous les autres documents. Assure toi bien d'avoir tous ce qu'il te faut; point-base, l'appendix, formulaire en double etc etc, car ils ne te diront pas s'il te manque quelque chose ou ce qu'il te manque.
À ce moment, moi je me suis présenté directement à Toronto où j'y ai fait le dépôt de ma demande et les empreintes biométriques. Sans envoi postal

Je me permets de répondre à ta question puisque j'ai obtenu il y a trois semaines mon youth mobility scheme tier 5.
Une fois que tu as ta lettre de la caisse en mains qui prouve que tu as les fonds nécessaires, tu as un mois pour faire ta demande de visa. Bref, si tu reçois ta lettre le 20 août, mais qu'elle est datée du 15 août, tu as jusqu'au max le 15 septembre (je dirai max le 14) pour faire ta demande.
Pour la demande, tu as besoin d'avoir une copie du formulaire à remplir en ligne, l'appendix, le point-bas, ton passeport, tes anciens passeports si tu en as, deux photos de type passeport (daté de moins de six mois et avec ton nom à l'arrière), la lettre de ta caisse (en anglais!), bref tous ces originaux et une copie de chaque document.
Lorsque tu as ta lettre de la caisse, tes photos, tes photocopies et rempli le formulaire en ligne, tu peux prendre rendez-vous pour le test biométrique. J'ai réussi à avoir un rendez-vous dans la même semaine. Là bas, tu dois apporter tous les documents nécessaires à ta demande. Sur place, on te demandera le formulaire que tu as rempli en ligne, ton passeport et une photo. On prendra également une autre photo de toi et on fera le test des empreintes. On te remettra une enveloppe scellée contenant les infos biométriques et une enveloppe pour envoyer ta demande (que tu dois payer 35$ soit-dit en passant), c'est-à-dire les infos biométriques et tous tes autres documents. J'ai reçu mon visa une semaine après ma demande et je l'ai fait le 15 juillet.
Sur le document en ligne, tu peux spécifier quelle est ta date de départ. Mon visa a été émis pour cette date. Par contre, je ne crois pas qu'ils puissent aller plus loin que 3 mois dans la date, selon ce que j'avais lu en ligne.
J'espère que ça répond à tes questions! J'ai un blog en ligne (sophielaurin.wordpress.com) , où je vais écrire toutes mes démarches concernant la demande de visa. Je trouve qu'il n'y a pas de site franco où c'est expliqué correctement!!
