J'ai regardé des sites comme londonjob.net, qu'en pensez-vous ? job + logement à la clé ... c'est pas mal non ?
Je ne recherche pas le truc extra, je m'adapte assez facilement, ce que je veux c'est un job (ou plusieurs dans l'été) + un logement et surtout rencontrer un maximum de personne pour m'améliorer dans la langue (et pourquoi pas faire la fête ;) )
LondonJob est une pure arnaque donc oublies.
Pour les organismes qui propose job + appart, méfies toi car souvent les sommes demandées sont élevées et le résultat pas tjs au rendez-vous: appart insalubre, job pas conforme à tes attentes voire pas de job du tout...
Cibles les entreprises qui t'intéressent (cf Google) et envoie CV + lettre de motivation.
Oui j'avais compris mais justement c'est cher pour ce que c'est de passer par un organisme surtout quand tu ajoutes tous les frais: transport, nourriture... Mais si tu y tiens, renseignes toi bien sur l'organisme avant de payer. Comme je l'ai dit, c'est arrivé que des gens paient et une fois sur place le job promis s'était envolé ou l'employeur n'était pas situé dans la zone demandé.
Envoyer des candidatures spontanées fonctionne bien pour un job d'été si on s'y prend correctement. Après, si ça n'est pas payant, tu peux démarcher sur place.

Il vaudrait mieux te débrouiller seul.
essaie sur les sites d'emploi des jobs en tapant le nom des logiciels ou programmes que tu utilises (en sachant que les anglophones passent avant)
evidemment, soit il faut être sur place, soit prêt à t'y rendre en cas d'entretien.
Pour les jobs saisonniers en dehors des hôtels, les travaux agricoles. Tu ne rencontreras pas forcément que des anglais mais tu parleras anglais.
L'idée du stage est bonne, il y a aussi des propositions sur les sites d'emplois parfois même des sites français style "optioncarrière"

Je suis partie à Londres fin mai l'année derniere pour trouver un job pour l'été. Tout d'abord je te conseilles vraiment de faire ça, c'est une expérience de dingue, Londres est une ville top où tu rencontres pleins de monde et où tu as toujours un milliers de truc à faire!
Je suis passée par le centre Charles Péguy pour trouver un job et je le recommande vivement! C'est une centre spécial pour les français, tu dois payer une inscription de 60pounds mais ça vaut le coup car ils ont plein d'annonces de job ( surtout dans la restauration). Ils t'aident aussi à faire ton cv en anglais, te laissent utiliser leur adresse pour recevoir ton courrier, évaluent ton niveau d'anglais et te proposent des annonces en conséquence. Une fois que tu as les adresses des restos qui cherchent ce sera beaucoup plus simple de trouver un job.
Je te déconseilles les sites style Londonjob, une fille avec qui je bossais était passée par là et elle avait un logement vraiment pourri loin de tout.
Pour ce qui est du logement, je pense que c'est indispensable de commencer par l'auberge de jeunesse car tu rencontrera plein de monde et l'ambiance est super, ensuite j'ai trouvé le mien grâce au centre.
Tu peux aussi passer par Gumtree, ils ont des annonces pour le logements et pour les jobs mais les recherches sont fastidieuses et faut avoir un peu de chance pour tomber sur quelque chose de bien...

Si tu veux vraiment parler anglais alors ne t'inquiètes pas tu parlera anglais! Mon chef, bien que français, voulait qu'on se parle tous en anglais pour pas que les étrangers se sente "à l'écart", après c'est vrai que quand on été qu'entre nous le français reprenait le dessus.
Ensuite la majorité des étrangers qui restent à Londres pour l'été sont des français donc c'est sur que j'ai pas mal parlé français mais j'étais en coloc avec des italiens et tous les soirs en auberge tu peux rencontrer des gens qui viennent de partout pour pratiquer ton anglais!
Et ne t'en fais pas pour ton niveau d'anglais, en passant par le centre justement ton employeur sait que tu es français à la base et tu n'as pas besoin d'être bilingue (apres pour être serveur faut mieux s'y connaitre que pour être commis). Personnellement j'avais un niveau "upper intermediate" (donc plutot bien) selon le centre mais apres je me sentais pas assez a l'aise pour être serveuse, ça dépend des gens...
J'ai trouvé mon job et mon logement en une semaine et demi, tu peux trouver beaucoup plus rapidement, j'ai mis du temps car j'ai fait des essais en tant que serveuse ça ne m'a pas plu donc j'ai demandé au centre des annonces pour être commis. Une copine qui était avec moi à mis une semaine a trouver je pense que c'est ce qu'il faut compter.
J'en ai parlé à ma prof d'anglais cet après-midi et elle m'a surtout déconseillé d'aller a Londres car les prix des loyers étaient exorbitant et qu'au final on était en colloc qu'avec des Français ... j'en suis resté dubitatif.
J'ai envoyé de nombreux mails dans des campings sur la côte, je verrais bien ..
Ba comme je t'ai dit moi j'étais avec des italiens et des francais dans ma coloc et je payais 90pounds par semaines. Après les gens de ta coloc tu les vois pas vraiment car tout le monde travaille et dans la restauration t'es assez décalé. Les gens que tu vois le plus sont ceux que tu rencontres à ton boulot et tout ceux que tu rencontres en auberge de jeunesse !
C'est pas mal si tu vas sur la côte (apparement Brighton est super sympa) mais je te conseilles toujours de partir à Londres c'est vraiment une ville folle pour pleins de raisons !
