Voila, je m'appelle Alice, je suis en deuxième année de BTS MUC en France et j'ai dans l'idée de partir à l'étranger pendant un an pour parler couramment l'anglais et ainsi donc pouvoir entrer dans une grande école de tourisme bilingue.
J'ai pensé à l'Australie car c'est moins complexe, on peut disposé d'un visa travail pendant un an et qu’apparemment la vie est moins cher qu'en France.
Il faudra donc que je trouve un travail et notamment un hébergement.
Apparemment il est plutôt facile de trouver un job dans la restauration ou ce genre de chose.
En revanche pour le logement c'est plus compliqué car je suis étudiante et donc je n'ai pas de revenu. Connaissez-vous des pistons pour être logé pas cher ?
J'ai entendu parler de famille d'accueil, d'auberge de jeunesse, de fille au pair, de vivre chez des fermiers. Mais quelles sont leurs coûts et leurs contraintes ? Y-a-t-il d'autres solutions ?
Je ne veux pas rester enfermer chez des fermiers ou autres alors qu'il me faut du contacte pour développer mon anglais et avoir acquis quelque chose à la fin de cette expérience.

L’Australie est effectivement un pays qui offre la possibilité de travailler et voyager pendant un an grâce au Working Holiday Visa. Il est très simple à obtenir et un voyage comme celui-ci va te permettre d'améliorer ton anglais. Il y a des programmes qui combinent perfectionnement en anglais avec un job sur place = http://www.sejour-linguistique-australie.com/programmes.html
Attention, il faut savoir que ce n'est plus si simple qu'auparavant de trouver un emploi sur place. Et oui, tu n'est pas la seule à vouloir vivre cette expérience, résultat --> beaucoup de concurrence ! Pour se loger, il y a en effet plusieurs possibilités comme la famille d'accueil, l'auberge de jeunesse ou la colocation.
Tu peux aussi trouver des postes dans les fermes mais qui sont généralement éloignés des villes. C'est la solution à choisir lorsque tu voyage autour du pays : possibilité de dormir dans le véhicule. Si ton but est d'intégrer une grande école à ton retour, je te conseille de passer un test d'anglais à la fin de ton séjour pour justifier de ton niveau !

Il ne faut pas que le prix du visa et du billet d'avion te découragent pour l'Australie. Ni le fait que tu n'as pas de logement a l’arrivée.
Sur un an 1000€ de billet d'avion est très vite amorti. Surtout qu'en Australie trouver du travail est facile. Avec le WHV tu peux aussi étudier a la fac pendant 4 mois.
Et pour ton copain qui n'a que le bac, c'est tout ce qu'il faut pour avoir le visa.
Pour le logement, tu as le choix entre le wwoofing (souvent a la campagne mais parfois aussi en ville), le HelpXchange (souvent en ville mais pas seulement) et le workaway (un peu des 2).
Le principe est toujours le même, tu es logée (souvent nourrie aussi) contre 3 a 5h de travail 5 a 6 jours par semaine. Ce principe du logement contre service est très utilisé dans les backpackers, les exploitations agricoles, les camps de vacances mais aussi chez des particuliers.
C'est un moyen formidable de faire des rencontres et de parler anglais avec des jeunes du monde entier.
J'ai fait du wwoofing et du Helpx en Nouvelle Zélande et je me suis fait des amis japonais, autrichien et chinois.
Sans compter que ca t'aidera a trouver un appartement car les anglo-saxons marchent a la recommendation. plus tu connaîtras de monde et plus ce sera facile de te loger.
Pour partir Au Pair, c'est aussi une bonne idee mais ne passe pas par une agence. Les prix pratiqués sont indecents et ne se justifient pas. Pour en savoir plus sur le sujet et avoir une idée de tes options, télécharge ce guide.
Et pour finir, l'adhesion au Club Teli est une excellente idée pour trouver du travail. Leurs annonces sont hyper nombreuses et toujours fraîches et le forum est très actif.

Je te conseille de commencer par quelques mois de cours d'anglais (max. 4 autorisés avec le WHV) pour les raisons suivantes:
- le mieux on parle anglais, mieux les chances de trouver un emploi intéressant
- les écoles ont souvent un service pour aider dans les démarches de trouver un emploi et expliquer la côté administrative
- tu pars avec une attestation (voir diplôme Cambridge, IELTS) qui serait toujours utile à ton retour
Lorsqu'on est à l'école, le formule du logement le plus avantageux est le séjour en famille et tu pourrais toujours travailler à côté car les cours durent max. 25 heures par semaine.
Saches que certains collèges proposent également des cours pour travailler dans un bar ou café (pas simple de préparer des cafés en Australie)
Ensuite, il y a souvent des bureaux pour aider à trouver un travail comme: www.thejobshop.com.au
Il y a plusieurs possibilités de travailler dans le tourisme: hôtels, restaurants, bateaux de croisière, camps permantes dans l'outback etc.
Même si l'Australie est un pays cher, il y a des chouettes expériences à avoir.
