Depuis 5 ans bientôt sur l'île de la Réunion nous souhaitons changer d'environnement pour une durée indéterminée. Mon amoureux est educateur (moniteur educ) dans la fonction public hospitalière (stagiairisation encore un an) et moi je suis psychologue clinicienne (surtout dans le secteur des instituions médico sociales).
Nous avons 4 enfants qui auront dans un an: 7 ans, 4 ans et les jumeaux 2 ans.
Trouverons nous des opportunités de travail dans nos secteurs ??? Pour le reste on se débrouillera mais le boulot...hélas faut bien y penser...si vous avez des sites interessants!

J'aimerais aussi savoir si les prix pour les choses de tous les jours sont pareils ou moins cher ou plus chers entre la brousse et Nouméa ?
Je veux venir en vacances pour découvrir les meilleurs endroits et venir ensuite vivre et profiter du cadre magnifique et de la tranquilité de la nouvelle calédonie.

les kanaks vivent comme les autres, ceux qui sont en brousse ou aux iles, souvent vivent en tribu. Les habitations sont souvent en "dure". Ils occupent des postes dans la fonction publique ou dans le privé et certains font des études supérieures en France. Ils sont aussi cultivateurs mais + pour améliorer l'ordinaire que pour vendre.
Pour trouver pas trop cher et etre dans la nature, le Mt dor ou le Mt Mou ( Paita ) devrait te plaire. Tu seras dans les 2 cas à environ 30 mn du centre ville ds le meilleur des cas, et à 45 ou 50mn ds le pire. ( donné à titre indicatif, ce n'est pas une vérité absolue )Plus tu te rapprocheras de Nouméa et plus les loyers augmenteront de même qu'à l'achat. Le mieux est que tu te renseignes sur place ( paru vendu, le gratuit, les nouvelles )
Il y a une petite différence entre les prix pratiqués en brousse, mais bon au bout d'un moment on y prend plus garde.
Euhh...le cadre oui, la tranquilité pas toujours. Il faut quand même etre réaliste, le paradis n'existe que en carte postale, les places au soleil il faut les payer à un moment ou à un autre.
Je te conseille de lire les autres posts concernant la NC, il y a des avis très objectif sur des vacances + ou - ratées etc...
Sache que c'est pas le paradis, c'est juste le bout du monde, avec son lot de gens "tordus" qui te chercheront des poux ds la tete à un moment ou a un autre, comme partout ailleur.
On y trouve aussi de belles plages, des gens simples et sympas.

Potiers : l'artisanat vu d'un côté occidental ( travail du Cuir, de la Poterie, du Fer forgé, de la Confiture Bio, etc... ) n'a pas le même impac en NC.
Il faut je pense avoir une vision de la NC avec l'oeil du Canak.
Que demande un Canak de base : - Un Bermuda, - Un nakamal, - une paire de claquettes, - Un Tee-Shirt avec BoB ou Che, - Etc...
Il en ferait quoi d'un poterie ? Une ceinture en cuir ? Une peinture sur soie ? Quelle serait sa notion d'un exotisme à s'offrir sous forme d'un objet à entreposer chez lui ?
Maintenant, tu pourrais viser le marché des expats ?
Déjà il faut mettre les pieds dans un appart d'expat. Il y a quoi ? : rien. Et pourquoi ?
Réponse : Parcequ'il gagne c'est pour le magot à constituer et non en dépense inutile dans une poterie qui va représenter quoi et qui sert à quoi qui de plus ne sera pas un produit local...
Un masque africain ou une callebasse en Afrique ça passe tout seul.
L'art calédonien se liste sur les doigts d'une main.
Même la gastonomie...
La NC se consomme au marché et ce sans compter : il est là l'Art Calédonien ( la couleur de ses légumes, de ses fruits, la fraîcheur de ses fruits de mer, l'oeil luisant de ses poissons, sans oublier le regard)
Pas d'investissement : de la conso au jour le jour. En conclusion, personnellement pour les amateurs de créations artisales vu à l'occidentale en implantation en NC, je souhaite bon courage.
Ps: Allez faire un tour à la Maison de l'Artisanat, Quai Maritime, et vous serez étonné de ce grand espace vide.

je ne comprends pas très bien tes 2 premieres question, peux tu préciser stp.
Tu trouveras tous l'appareillage à nouméa, normalement, par contre je ne te garantie pas que le taux de remboursement soit le meme qu'en France.
Sinon la couverture sociale fonctionne exactement de la meme façon qu'en france, ( les taux de prise en charges, eux ne sont pas forcéments les meme ), il faut savoir qu'il y a un partenariat entre l'organisme de couverture sociale à Nouméa ( CAFAT ) et la sécu en France.
Le mieux et de prendre quelques renseignements à la sécu avant de partir, ça peut t'éviter des surprises.

Y a-t'il un magasin ou plusieurs magasins pour les appareils auditifs ? Par rapport au climat tropical, est ce qu'on transpire beaucoup ? pour éviter de mouiller mes appareils... ICI d'ailleurs chez moi, je suis obliger de mettre la capuche contre la pluie et la boite contre l'humidité pour la nuit.

difficile de répondre concernant les appareils. C'est du matériel spécialisé et tant qu'on est pas confronté au problème, ce qui est mon cas, on peut difficilement répondre.
Il me semble qu'à nouméa ce sont les ORL qui commandent le matériel quand ils en ont besoin pour un patient.
Il y a moins de 300 mille personne en NC, donc une boutique spécialisé dans ce type de matériel, je ne me souviens pas en avoir vu ( ça ne veut pas dire qu'il y en ai pas )
Tu peux faire un tour sur l'annuaire telephonique Nouvelle Calédonie, cherche des ORL et envoie un fax, je pense que tu auras des réponses à moindre cout.
Et oui sous les tropiques on transpire en générale, mais cela dépend aussi de ton activité.
