Ma femme, ma fille (2 ans) et moi même partons pour 18 jours à cuba fin janvier 2009. Nous souhaitons nous concentrer sur l'Ouest et le centre de Cuba afin de ne pas trop faire de route pour notre fille.
Notre objectif : Un séjour mi-plage, mi-visites.
On aime : La farniente sur les plages déserte (quelques jours max), les ballades en nature (cascades, montagne, vallées agricoles, etc.) et dans les villes et villages, les contacts avec les gens du pays (donc casas particulares en priorité), la plongée sous marine (PADI niv.1)
On évite : Les grands hôtels (même si la mer est superbe), les musées (un ou deux max), les journées en voiture (donc pas trop de route)...
Nous avons déjà glané quelques infos en lisant les divers messages de ce forum. Néanmoins, nous avons quelques questions et besoin de quelques conseils :
1. Déplacements : Location de voiture ou bus ? Lequel vous semble le mieux avec un enfant de 2 ans ? L'un de vous a t-il une bonne adresse pour réserver une voiture (avec priorité pour le prix) ?
2. Plages et période farniente : J'ai cru comprendre que l'hôtel de Cayo Levisa n'était plus disponible pour tous (TO italien). Quel dommage, nous qui souhaitons au cours de notre périple passer 4-5 jours au bord d'un lagon à farnienter tranquillement. Connaissez-vous une autre "adresse" de ce type : plage sublime, bungalow sur la plage et pas de grands hôtels plein de monde où l'on pourrait passer 4 jours env. ? Eventuellement une casa au bord d'une mer turquoise avec palmier et une petite ville pas trop loin pour les soirées ? Bons spots pour la plongée (sans être 4 000 !!!) ?
3. Ouest : La région de Vinales vaut-elle le détour pour nous (enfant de bas age) ? Les ouragans semblent avoir fait pas mal de dégâts dans cette région. Qu'en est-il si certain d'entre vous ont des infos récentes ? Quels sont les endroits à visiter dans cette région ?
4. La Havane : Nous commencons notre périple par 3 jours à la Havane et nous avons réservé une casa près du Capitol. Vos conseils sur la ville (les "à ne pas manquer") ? Notre objetif : 1 ou 2 musée, balades en ville, musica & mojito.....
Trinidad : Nous comptons rester env.5 jours dans cette région. Ormis Trinidad, quels sont les "à ne pas manquer" dans la région (objectif balades et contact avec les locaux) ? Plages sympa dans le coin pour se reposer entre deux balades ?
5. Cayo Sant Maria : Ormis Cayo Levisa, Cayo Santa Maria avait attiré notre attention avec l'hôtel Las Brujas. Certain d'entre vous y sont ils aller récemment ? Vos avis ? Question subsidiaire : Est-ce qu'il ne fera pas un peu frais à cette période + vent dans ce coin là ? (J'ai déjà eu quelques réponses à ce sujet : "Préferer le sud au Nord à cette période".....)
N'hésitez pas à nous communiquer tous vos conseils qui contenteront notre objectif de voyage..... 😉

ce que vous décrivez correspond assez à notre type de voyage car nous voyageons aussi avec notre fille de 21 mois. En fait, nous devons partir en Guadeloupe le 7 mars mais vu ce qu'il s'y passe, je me renseigne pour d'autres destinations et Cuba m'inspire tout particulièrement.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
