bon, j'ai passé une semaine à l'hotel "grand sirenis riviera maya *****" et je dois vous le dire tout de suite, je suis TRES loin d'être emballé...
La liste des défauts :
un hotel immense, une vraie ville, on s'y perd; c'est du n'importe quoi, faut marcher tout le temps pour tout, ça devient très vite chiant. ma chambre : 3 coupures de courant en 1 semaine et mon jacuzzi en panne à plusieurs reprises. un buffet en terme de qualité, largement en dessous de ce que l'on est en droit d'attendre d'un hotel de cette classe. Nourriture peu variée de qualité très moyenne. une plage toute petite, pleine de cailloux, les fonds marins n'ont aucun interêt à cet endroit. animation sur la plage peu présente. les piscines sont clairement destinées à barboter et piccoler ( bar dans les piscines) de plus je les ai trouvées sales.
la liste des qualités :
un service excellent, une chambre confortable des restaurants à la carte plutôt bons ce qui contraste avec le buffet très moyen. les infrastructures ( des snacks, bars, boutiques, salle de sport, archerie etc..)
voilà globalement je suis assez déçu..ce truc a 5 étoiles, franchement ça les vaut pas vraiment.....allez plutôt au AKUMAL BEACH RESORT, c'est 100X mieux, croyez moi...
Il a effectivement brûlé mais rien de bien dramatique, c'est le restaurant de buffet qui a cramé...les bâtiments où se trouvent les chambres sont intactes. Ils s'activent pour tout reconstruire, je pense qu'il ne faut rien attendre avant 6 mois mais l'hotel reste ouvert quand même....
Moi aussi j'y suis aller dans la 1ere semaine d'avril ..............et c'etais dans le temps du spring break americain............OUCHHHHHHHH
Ils se prennent vraiment pour d'autre ses jeunes americains 😠😠

mais contrairement a toi les piscine sont les plus belle que j'ai vue en voyage et aussi dans les plus propre
mais encore comme toi les buffet son en bas de bien des 3 1/2 etoiles
les a la carte sont tres bon
site bcp trop grand et en plus ils l'agrandisent
la plage nous on le savais qu'elle etais a son etat naturel........c'etais bien quand meme, un des plus belle de la riviera maya
j'ai eu un bon service de serveuse pour la boisson

la plage du Sirenis une des plus belles plages de la riviera maya?? va voir la plage devant l'hotel l'AKUMAL BEACH RESORT, je te garantis que tu vas avoir un choc, grande, belle avec des fonds magnifiques, idéal pour la plongée, ...c'est pas compliqué, j'y suis allé 2 fois, j'ai jamais été déçu en rien la bas...ils ont 4 étoiles et pourtant je te garantis que c'est largement mieux que le Sirenis. Maintenant c'est décidé la prochaine fois que je décide de passer des vacances sur la riviera maya, je n'irai pas dans un autre hotel que l'AKUMAL.
j ai lu ton commentaire en surfant sur le forum, car je cherche un hotel pour decembre 2008 sur la riviera maya . j avais retenu l akumal beach, dont tu fais l eloge, il me semblait tres bien . helas aucun TO ne semble le proposer pour cet hiver . ne trouvant rien sur internet, j avais envisagé le grand sirenis . est ce le bon choix ?

Quand je suis allée à Rivière Maya j'ai trouvé les plages de Playacar plus belles que celles de Playa Carmen.
En octobre je vais au Grand Sirenis et je pourrai comparer les plages d'Akumal à celle de Playacar. Je sais qu'au Grand Sirenis la plage n'est pas fameuse. J'essaierai d'aller voir les autres hôtels.
J'aimerais savoir si le Beach Akumal est près du Grand Sirenis

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
