Bonjour je suis étudiant en licence, et l'an prochain pour mon futur travail je veux améliorer (ou plutot apprendre) mon anglais qui est catastrophique en partant à l'étranger, j'hésite entre Indonésie et Australie.
L'indonésie est-il un endroit ou l'anglais est parfait ? Ou c'était une sorte de "dérive" comme on peut trouver à Malte etc. ?
Dans le cas ou l'indonésie est un bon endroit pour apprendre l'anglais j'ai quelques questions :Que faut-il pour partir travailler en indonésie ? Un passeport seulement ?Ya t'il beaucoup d'emploi ?Quelle ville me conseiller vous pour profitez du paysage, avoir un bon accent et trouver du travail, et un bon niveau de vie (je crois savoir qu'à part Bali, la vie n'est pas chère) ?Ya t'il des agences (comme pour l'australie) qui offre des packs comprenant un job, premiere semaine des cours d'anglais + hébergement etc, je n'ai rien trouvé.

Tu ferais aussi bien de revoir un peu ta géographie !
L'indonésie n'est anglophone que partiellement, et ce dans les zones très touristiques, et ça ne concerne encore que les personnes qui tirent parti du tourisme... C'est un pays pauvre aux conditions de vie assez sommaires, et trouver du travail pour un expat est sans doute possible a Jakarta et a Yogyakarta, mais faut pas s'attendre à des merveilles financières, surtout si t'es pas dans la banque.
Pour les agences offrant des "packs", je crois pas qu'il y en ait...

En fait j'ai des amies natives de la bas qui sont parfaitement bilengues.
Donc oui je parle de ces zones anglosaxones, c'est la population qui parle anglais, ou du fait de l'activité touristique c'est la langue qui est utilisée ?
Seuls quelques héros de la linguistique et/ou les personnes directement intéressées par le tourisme + les privilégiés des familles les plus aisées parlent anglais... Et pour avoir un anglais impec', tu exclus la quasi totalité des deux dernières catégories mentionnées.
La population ne parle pas anglais et il n'y a strictement aucune raison pour qu'il en soit ainsi. Je te conseille vivement de t'informer un peu sur le pays avant de poser des questions à son sujet. Tu aurais pu découvrir sur wikipedia (par exemple) les réponses à toutes ces questions.

Apres pour ce qui est de l'Australie, attends toi à ce que leur accent soit plutôt "américain" dans les grandes villes (à part Melbourne, où ils s'évertuent à essayer de paraître snobs (et donc de parler un anglais "oxford" rien que pour en mettre plein la vue à ces salauds de Sydney), et en dehors des villes.... Ce n'est même plus de l'anglais, mais du Strine comme ils disent...

Tu m'as l'air calé niveau voyage... en resumé tu me conseilles quoi pour apprendre l'anglais, avec si possible un cadre de vie agréable, mais surtout avec la crise, un endroit ou avoir une chance de décrocher un job (barman, maçon etc)
L'afrique du sud c'est un bon endroit ? Avec l'arrivée de la coupe du monde ils peuvent etre a la recherche de main d'oeuvre, mais aussi les prix doivent exploser ... 🙁
Je sais absolument rien de l'Afrique du Sud, mais en Australie tu trouveras du boulot (des petits boulots, en tout cas !) sans problème. C'est pas la France, pas besoin de contrat jeune ni de CPE, et du travail, il y en a à la pelle, sous contrat ou au black... Suffit d'un visa working holidays (disponible dans toute bonne charcuterie) et c'est parti !
Rien que dans les auberges de jeunesse il y a de grands panneaux avec les offres d'emploi en tous genres (ça peut être assez cocasse quelquefois !), et j'ai entendu dans plusieurs établissements un appel, le matin, énumérant les jobs disponibles pour la journée, la semaine ou le mois....
Brisbane est notamment une ville très agréable, climat chouette, ambiance décontractée, beaucoup de sites naturels aux alentours, cosmopolite, grosse communauté francophone au cas où tu serais en manque.... et en plein boom : du boulot, du boulot, encore du boulot !

Oui, l'Australie a des problèmes, et entre peut-être même en récession (pas vérifié). Ceci dit, récession et problème en France, ça ne veut pas dire la même chose que récession et problème en Australie.
S'ils sont touchés, je serais prêt à parier que ce n'est pas dramatique comme ce qui se passe actuellement par chez vous.

Pour travailler en Indonesie il ne suffit pas qu`un simple passeport, ca serait trop facile sinon. Il faut un contrat dans une entreprise... c`est assez compliquer
-Ya t'il beaucoup d'emploi ? 😄 Je pense que si il y avait beaucoup d`offres d`emplois pour les expatries ils ne seraient pas aussi nombreux a se mettre a leur compte et par ailleurs si il y avait beaucoup d`emploi crois moi nombreux seraient les touristes venus juste en vacances quelques semaines qui se decideraient a venir s`installer en Indonesie. En clair pratiquement pas d`offres d`emplois pour les expatries sauf si tu veux etre manager de grand hotel ou que tu es un cuisinier renommer... En gros ca donne ca 😏

De plus tu n`es jamais aller ni en Indonesie ni en Australie avant tu ne sais pas du tout comment c`est et a quoi t`attendre, qui te dis que ca te plaira une fois la bas ? Que tu reussiras a t`adapter ? C`est pas sur sur.

Oui si tu arrives en tant que touriste et que tu viens avec tes euros que tu as changer la tu trouves forcement que tout n`est pas cher a Bali.. Mais quand tu vis la bas a l`annee ce n`est pas pareil pareil helas... Sauf si tu as enormement d`argent, mais si tu vis modestement c`est pas pareil...🙁

Pour conclure je suis tout a fait d`accord avec Kedor tu auras davantage de chance d`ameliorer ton anglais et de trouver un travail en allant en Australie plutot que d`aller en Indonesie.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
