Je suis actuellement sur un recrutement dans un hotel 5 étoiles (pour travailler dans les relations publiques)
Mon entretien s'est bien déroulé avec le DG de l'hotel mais je bloque un peu sur le salaire ! Il me propose 700 dollars US😮 par mois et je suis logée et nourrie sur place. Le DG me dit que j'aurais également un pourcentage sur le CA de l'hotel mais pas plus d'infos.
En France, je suis manager d'une équipe de commerciaux et je gagne très bien ma vie.
Pensez vous que ce salaire soit suffisant pour vivre en RD ???
Je ne vais pas là bas pour faire fortune.... J'ai envie depuis des années d'aller vivre dans ce pays (Premier voyage là bas en 1999).
Cette expérience me permettrais d'etre également au coté de mon ami dominicain !
Si la réponse à ce recrutement est négative, je pense partir au mois de janvier pour 3 mois afin de trouver un job sur place.
Dans ce cas là, quel budget faut il prévoir pour vivre à l'exterieur ?
Si ton but n'est pas de faire fortune en RD, USD 700 par mois avec repas et logement inclus, c'est une très bonne opportunité pour venir tenter la RD.
Moi, je te recommanderais d'accepter l'offre d'emploi de ton 5 étoiles là. Comme ça tu as déjà un salaire assuré. Après tu peux voir petit à petit sur place d'autres jobs si celui-là ne te plaît ou te convient pas.
Par contre, il faut que tu analyses tranquillement les conditions de vie que tu vas laisser derrière toi. Vivre en RD c'es pas vivre en Europe😮.
700 US soit moins de 500€ par mois, c'est malheureusement "normal". Penses aussi que tu perds tes cotisations retraites et ton assurance maladie.
Racheter une année de cotisation retraite, et on ne parle pas de caisse complémentaire, coute 12000€ pour un an si on le fait en fin de carriere.
Si tu vois ca comme un stage, qui te permet d'ameliorer ton niveau d'espagnol, de montrer un volet international a ton CV pour rebondir ensuite en france ou ailleurs, ca peut se concevoir.
Comme une option de long terme, a mes yeux, non. L'zamour ne justifie pas de tout sacrifier surtout que la notion de fidelité n'existe pas vraiment par la. Mais je suis trop severe peut etre. Apres tout, tu ne serais pas la premiere à tomber sous le charme..

un salaire de 700 us est déjà pas mal pour un dominicain mais pour un européen, il va falloir faire attention a ce que tu fais et ne pas trop penser a faire la fête. Même si tu as connu un peu la RD, en vacances, il faut savoir que la vie réelle n'a rien a voir !!!!!!!!!! Meme logee et nourrie, il va falloir bien cibler tes sorties et faux frais...
Mais c'est jouable... Surtout en pensant que cela va te donner un pied a terre pour trouver mieux.... 😉

Ce n'est pas assez, c'est un salaire local, loin des réalités, les grands hôtels payent mieux que cela, ton salaire c'est le salaire d'un chef de rayon a Carrefour(sic) J'ai des amis travaillant dans ces établissements et c'est beaucoup plus, par ex: le responsables de maintenance a 80 000 minimum, le cuisinier chef, 60 000 etc... de plus avec si peu, comme le disent les internautes, adieux sécurité sociale, bonjour les hôpitaux publiques (a visiter, ça calme...) adieux les sorties, une voiture non plus, rien.
Quand a la fin du mois, je fait tous mes comptes, sans s'écarter, je dépense beaucoup plus que ton salaire et je n'ai pas de Pent house en Naco. A réviser.

Bon je repars pour les vacances de Noel là bas et je me disais que je pourrais postuler pour d'autres postes.
J'essaie de trouver un site avec des annonces de job en RD mais sans succès !
Je sais qu'il y a des scté Françaises installées en RD mais ou trouver la liste ???

j'ai travaillé pendant un an en Rep Dom sur un projet pour mon employeur actuel français, mon projet est actuellement finalisé...donc retour en France, et je cherche à repartir pour rejoindre mon ami qui travaille là-bas.
J'ai prévu d'y être en janvier 09, pour l'instant pas de boulot en vue mais je parts sur un congé d'un an. Pratique car je ne démissione pas de mon entreprise actuelle, si les choses ne se passent pas si bien, je rentre en France et retrouve mon emploi.
Mon conseil : regarde toi aussi si tu n'as pas droit à un congé sabbatique (3 ans de boite) ou pour "création d'entreprise" (2 ans de boite).

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
