Bonsoir, je suis lycéen et après le bac je voudrais partir à New York travailler, le but est d'améliorer mon anglais!
le soucis est que même avec beaucoup de recherches faites précédemment, je n'ai toujours pas trouver de réelles solutions au fait de chercher un travail là-bas mais de la France.

Si quelqu'un aurait vécu la même experience que celle-c ou si quelqu'un s'y connait sur les choses à faire avant de partir (trouver un emploi, logement, papiers administratifs...), même si j'avoue que le rêve serait que quelqu'un habite à New York et pourrait m'aider à trouver un travail !! 😊
C'est vraiment un de mes rêves et j'ai l'impression que ça ne va jamais se réaliser car ça me paraît trop compliquer 😕

Si ton but est d'améliorer ton anglais aux États-Unis, 3 options:
1-t'inscrire à une école de langues
2-participer à un programme d'échange culturel (ex: Disney)
3-trouver un stage dans ton domaine.
Tu dois comprendre que tu ne peux pas aller à NY sans avoir de permis de travail. Et on n'obtient pas un visa de travail très facilement. Vu ton âge et ton manque de diplôme/compétences professionnelles, tu peux oublier les visas de type H1B (emplois spécialisés).
Le plus facile pour toi si tu tiens à travailler est de postuler pour le programme Disney (http://www.internationalservices.fr/fr/) où tu pourras travailler, être logé et rencontrer beaucoup de monde. Mais ça ne sera pas à New York, plutôt Orlando en Floride.
Sinon, tu peux simplement prendre des cours dans une école à New York, mais ça exigera un bon investissement financier de ta part...et tu n'auras pas le droit de bosser.

Non, car le patron devra justifier qu'il ne trouve aucun américain qui peut faire le travail, donc, dans la restauration ou la vente, c'est pas les candidatures US qui manquent... Tu ne pourras travailler que sur le Campus et même pas sûr si tu es en cours de langues et non en cursus universitaire "normal"... Donc, aucune possibilité de travailler pour toi.

La seule solution serait de participer au programme de représentant culture à Disney, en Floride. Tu seras rémunéré, logé et encadré. Le visa J-1 n'est pas difficile à obtenir une fois que tu réussis l'entretien.
Sincèrement, pour un jeune qui n'a pas d'expérience professionnelle et qui souhaite améliorer son anglais aux États-Unis, c'est la meilleure solution.

L'espace Schengen est une solution fantastique pour les jeunes Français qui veulent travailler à l'étranger. C'est une chance unique de pouvoir se balader et d'aller travailler où l'on veut, comme l'on veut, dans 28 pays.
Hélas, les Etats-Unis ne font pas partie de ces 28 pays, donc tu n'as pas le droit d'y travailler ou d'y étudier sans demander une permission spéciale, qui ne te sera accordée que si tu disposes des fonds pour financer ton projet (études sur campus ou en école de langues). Sur campus, tu es autorisé à travailler 20H/semaine sur le campus lui-même, à condition d'y trouver un job. En école de langues il n'y a pas vraiment de jobs.
Donc ta solution c'est soit école de langues pendant 3 mois, soit cours dans un établissement.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
