Depuis quelques temps j'ai un idée qui tiraille continuellement ma petite tête: partir vivre en nouvelle calédonie !! (comme beaucoup d'autres ici 🤪).
Je suis informaticien de métier: maintenance, administration réseau ... et je me demandais s'il y avait des possibilités pour les zoreilles.
J'ai vu que pour le batiment / électricité ça regorge d'offres mais j'ai regardé sur quelques sites d'emploi et niveau informatique j'ai rien trouvé.
Que pensez vous de postuler en spontané dans les entreprises en étant en métropole, ce n'est pas mal vu ??
Je présume que c'est sur nouméa qu'il y a de loin le plus de possibilité ... si vous avez des noms de grosses entreprises je suis preneur.

J'ai vu qu' il y a quelques boites d'intérim, est ce que vous savez si elles sont vraiment actives (pour tout type de boulot) car ça pourrait être une solution au départ, le temps de trouver un boulot dans mon secteur.
Pour l'intérim, je ne sais pas surtout avec la loi sur l'embauche qui priviligie les locaux. Mais te mettre à ton compte n'est qu'une formalité la-bas. Quand pars tu ?
Pour l'instant il n'y a rien d'arrêté, si ça doit se faire ce serait je pense pour la deuxième partie 2010.
Si j'y vais c'est avec un autre pote (informaticien également), pour le moment nous sommes plutot dans l'optique de partir mais on se donne jusqu'à la fin de l'année pour décider.
Je pense que c'est plus facile de partir à plusieurs pour s'établir (co-location ...) car tout seul ça doit être assez chaud pour tout assumer financièrement.
Après, le boulot (même hors informatique) ne nous fait pas peur ... et même s'il est normal qu'ils privilégient les emplois locaux nous espérons pouvoir nous débrouiller à trouver quelque chose.
Quant à monter sa société sur place ce n'est pas du tout l'objectif, nous ne connaissons nullement le marché local et nous n'avons de toutes façons pas les fonds pour celà.
De plus je pense qu'il y a déjà assez de structures susceptibles de nous accueillir; nous avons (je pense) des profils assez intéressants.
Je vais essayer de tâter le terrain en envoyant quelques CV le mois prochain mais je ne me fait pas d'illusions; à mon avis c'est voué à l'échec d'avance.
Mais bon, à voir, qui ne tente rien n'a rien ...
Dans tous les cas, je suis preneur de tous conseils / avis sur le sujet 🙂
J'ai lu pas mal de post sur la Nouvelle Calédonie, je précise juste une chose; ma motivation n'est absolument pas liée aux soit disant possibilité d'avoir des salaires / avantages plus intéressant qu'en métropole !!
Je suis quelqu'un de réservé, la tête sur les épaules, je pense avoir un bon fond et je n'aime pas la méchanceté gratuite ... j'aime la simplicité et déteste le superficiel ... et tout ce que je veux c'est gagner de quoi avoir un toit pour dormir et me nourrir pour vivre le plus simplement possible et ne pas vivre dans un pseudo confort qui ne rime à rien.
Et quel meilleur cadre que la Nouvelle-Calédonie pour repartir à 0, sur de nouvelles bases ...
Mais bon, je ne veux pas non plus prendre un emploi aux locaux, il est tout à fait normal qu'ils soient prioritaires; donc je pense que c'est à moi de proposer un profil avec des compétences que l'on ne trouve pas (ou peu) sur place.
Enfin, c'est pas évident tout ça ... surtout avec le référendum sur l'indépendantisme qui se profile à moyen terme et donc un avenir incertain pour les zoreilles ...
Décision finale sur mon éventuelle venue à la fin de l'année 🙂
C'est rassurant de partir à deux. On garde une référence d'où l'on vient. Je vais faire mon entrée seule et monter une petite structure, risquer de me casser le nez, me débrouiller avec des moyens limités. J'avoue être en super stress par moment. Alors j'envie un peu ceux qui ont la chance de partir à deux, pour ma part je compte vite trouver un petit toutou pour lui dire "comme c'est beau tu ne trouves pas ?". Mais je connais un peu Nouméa et je pense que même par courrier, tu as des chances d'avoir des contacts. J'ai trouvé qu'il y avait pas mal d'informaticiens la dernière fois mais le territoire du grand Nouméa est étendu et la ville est très développée alors rien de plus normal. Je me suis interessée à ton message car j'aurais bien besoin d'un informatitien la bas plus en externe, un intervenant.
Il est certain que partir à plusieurs doit être beaucoup plus simple à vivre !
Partir seule pour monter une boite c'est clair que ça doit pas être simple à gérer ... si c'est pas indiscret c'est pour monter quoi comme structure ?
Si je dois partir en Nouvelle-Calédonie c'est également pour évacuer une partie du stress imposé par la métropole et c'est clair que monter sa boite doit clairement maintenir sous pression.
Sinon tu sais déjà quand tu pars ? si jamais on se décide avec mon pote, pourquoi ne pas faire le déplacement avec d'autres personnes, ça pourrait être sympa ... mais bon comme je l'ai dit si on part ce serait courant 2010 (2eme partie certainement).
Sinon pour en revenir à l'informatique, c'est un domaine qui est vaste donc le fait qu'il y ai beaucoup de monde ne m'étonne pas mais bon, je me dis qu'avec le développement de Nouméa ça doit pouvoir être possible.
Et puis je suis pas difficile je prendrai ce qu'il y a ...
J'espère partir au plus tard en septembre, je ne veux échapper au froid. Le stress de la boîte, pas trop, juste parfois mais le stress de la perte des repairs du voyage et de la solitude la_bas oui. Sur la boîte, je t'envoie une réponse privée. Je ne tiendrai pas jusqu'en 2010.
Dans ta branche et avec ton expériance, je dirai aucun à priviligier. Il n'y a pas de saison et le monde ne s'arrête pas de tourner quand c'est les vacances comme ici.
Oui effectivement tu as raison les congés doivent être pris plus régulièrement dans l'année qu'ici; c'est l'avantage d'avoir du beau temps presque toute l'année 😎.
Je me demande par contre si c'est pas mieux d'arriver vers Mai / Juin car il peut éventuellement y avoir des départs vers la métropole (et donc des boulots / apparts qui se libèrent) pour ceux qui veulent avoir le temps de se retourner avant la rentrée des classes en métropole.
Mais bon peut être que ça correspond pas 🤪, l'année scolaire se termine à quelle moment en Nouvelle Calédonie ??
D'après ce que j'ai vu, des apparts, des studios, des colocations, y'en a toujours et beaucoup. Le seul blem est d'avoir des cartes à jouer pour rassurer et sans cdi c'est chaud ;car même avec des arrières c'est galère d'après mon expériance. Maintenant, je n'ai pas tenté la colocation. Beaucoup préfèrent même un petit cdi (saisissable) qu'un créateur d'entreprise ou un investisseur. Mais avant d'avoir le cdi, bonjour la facture d'hotel !
Mais il suffit de trouver moins échaudés... et le tour est joué ! Sur le site certains te diront qu'il y a des époques et lesquelles, si tu veux mettre toutes les chances de ton côté...à mon sens, c'est inutile d'attendre.
En fait pour l'appartement je me fais pas trop de soucis, j'ai un appartement actuellement (avec un joli prêt sur 25 ans), donc en le revendant j'aurai de quoi m'acheter un petit quelque chose, je passerai juste d'un 60m2 à un 30 m2 😊.
Mais bon, faudra que je fasse vite pour limiter au maximum le foyer des jeunes travailleurs (ou autre).
Par contre j'espère trouver de quoi bosser rapidement (dans n'importe quel domaine au début) car tous les mois y'a le prêt qui tombe ... mais bon avec mon pote qui fera le collocataire on devrait s'en sortir; faudra juste se partager 30m2 à 2 🤪.
Partager l'appartement à deux ! moi ça serai ça 😏 a moins que ça soit ça 🏴☠️ mais bon soyons positifs ! C'est l'occasion de réaprendre des règles familialles ou de collectivité et c'est plutôt agréable la perte de l'individualisme. Et ça c'est de la vrai intégration ! C'est l'occasion rêvé de tisser des liens superficiels jusqu'ici. Moi j'aimerai bien même si ce n'est pas vraiment prévu.

Les papiers ce serait plus du genre attestation sécu + carte vitale pour le changement d'organisme, relevé bonus/malus pour la voiture ....
J'ai également vu qu'il est bien d'amener une attestation de déménagement pour la douane.
Mais bon, je me suis pas encore trop renseigné sur la partie papier, je pense que d'autres personnes complèteront.

j'habite à Nouméa depuis 5 ans et je commence à bien connaitre. Le téléphone, (si tu téléphones presque pas) c'est 60 euros par mois, l'ADSL il faut rajouter 40 euros par mois. Du travail, il y en a, mais il faut pas être fixé sur quelque chose de précis, à moins d'avoir de très bonnes qualifications et expériences dans un domaine spécifique. Mais malgré ça, tu peux très bien trouver quelque chose dans une branche différente, c'est selon les besoins du pays.Tout est très cher et si vous négociez un emploi depuis la métropole, il ne faut rien accepter en dessous de 250 000 XFP si vous êtes deux à travailler c'est mieux, car vous pourrez partager les frais courants et de logement. Leurs prix varient en fonction de leur situation, ils sont très prisés et très chers sur les baies (Baie des citrons, Orphelinat (même si on ne peut pas s'y baigner) Anse Vata ou plage de Magenta. Beaucoup moins au Mont Dore, Dumbéa, Koutio, 7kms ou Robinson, mais attention aux bouchons pour aller au boulot et en revenir...

Vous devriez trouver du travail sans problème. Vous êtes où actuellement ? Pour le net, c'est un peu plus de cent euros par mois. Parfois, il faut compter plus car dans certains logements il faut installer une ligne, ce n'est pas systématique ici : beaucoup utilise seulement le tél portable.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
