concernant les seychelles, je te conseille vivement de ramener ta trousse médicale, tout ce qui est importé coûte cher et comme la majorité est importée tu sais à quoi t'attendre surtt si tu as des préférences... exemple pour les femmes intérêt à ramener leurs produits hygièniques etc car il y a des périodes de pénurie. Depuis quelques temps un nouveau supermarché à Victoria a été inauguré où l'on trouve de tout mais bien évidemment cher!
en fait, hormis les medocs, que je prevois a chaque expatriation, je voulais connaitre les produits specifiques que je ne trouverai pas facilement ou alors tres chers
Il faut savoir que tout ce qui est superflu, ou dont on peut plus ou moins se passer, est hors de prix aux Seychelles: Alcools, tabac et essence notamment.
Par contre, grâce aux impôts indirects qui grèvent ces produits, le gouvernement finance sa politique sociale:
Gratuité intégrale de tous les soins médicaux/dentaires.
Scolarité obligatoire de qualité.
Pas d'impôt sur le revenu des salariés...
Ainsi, les Seychelles sont le pays d'Afrique avec le PIB le plus élevé et l'espérance de vie la plus grande !
Je connais bien les Seychelles, pour y être allé treize fois. Si vous avez d'autres questions, n'hésitez surtout pas !
Depuis mes 4 ans, je vais aux Seychelles entre 1 et 3 fois par an, et nous vivons en maison de location. Nous vivons donc à la seychelloise.
Aux Seychelles, pour vivre, le mot d'ordre c'est système D. C'est ravitaillé par les corbeaux comme on dit. Ce qui fait qu'il arrive qu'il y ai une pénurie d'huile d'olive ou de papier toilette. Du coup, il faut faire comme tout le monde et faire des réserves. Biensur, vous ne trouverez ni fromage, ni chocolat, ou rarement, ni bon gros steak de boeuf. Il faut faire avec les produits locaux, au moment où ils sont là et faire preuve d'imagination, ne pas hésiter à demander aux seychellois et aux expat' leurs bonnes adresses, trouver un bon gros congelo, faire les halles tôt le matin, repérer le charcutier et y aller le jour où il tue le cochon, et s'arreter près des vendeurs sur le bord des routes. Ils peuvent vendre leurs poissons et leurs récoltes, et vous pouvez aussi demander aux seychellois d'aller vous ceuillir des mangues ou des oranges mazambik moyennant un peu d'argent. Nous, nous vivons sur Praslin et en général, nous faisons les courses tous les jours et dans presque toutes les boutiques de l'ile pour trouver un maximum de choses. Il ne faut pas être pressé. La vie aux Seychelles est douce et tranquile avec ses avantages et ses inconvenients, et vous entendrez souvent kekfoi demin... (peut-être que demain, il y en aura). Cette une vie fantastique à mon avis. Profitez-en.

60.000 habitants, île principale de 14 km de long, économie axée principalement sur tourisme de luxe et pêche.
Aucune industrie ou presque, aucun artisanat ou presque.
Tout est importé et pas toujours dans les conditions les plus avantageuses pour l'économie locale. Manque de forex (devise), dettte la plus importante du monde par habitant. Tableau peu attrayant. Pays merveileux, gens exquis, climat formidable. Nombre de touristes qui viennent et vivent en autarcie dans hôtels de luxe repartent avec une fausse idée, image d'Épinal. Le local éprouve des difficultés pour trouver lait condensé, clous, vêtements de qualité, nourriture autre que locale, peu nombreuse.
Je suis Tunisien, et J’aimerais bien venir m’installer et vivre au Seychelles, avec ma famille (ma femme et 2 petites filles de 13 et 14 ans).
