Bonjour, je m'appelle Camille (garcon), j'aurais 21 ans en Mars.
Je vous explique rapidement mon cursus. J'ai fait un BAC S SI (Sciences de l'Ingenieur). Ensuite deux ans de DUT GMP (Génie Mécanique et Productique) à Annecy (74, Haute Savoie, région ou j'ai toujours vécu). Je suis actuellement en license (BAC +3 donc) à Edinburgh (Ecosse) pour essayer de perfectionner mon anglais, même si c'est plus délicat qu'escompté, je progresse!
Voila je viens vers vous car voyager m'a toujours tenté, voir de nouvelles têtes, de nouveaux paysages! Cette année a Edinburgh me le confirme je bougerais bien dans un autre pays. J'ai toujours été assez autonome (cela fait 5 ans que je ne vis plus chez mes parents, internat, colocations, etc...)
Le Canada et l'Australie sont (comme pour tout le monde je crois...) des pays qui me donnent vraiment envie d'y aller.
Côté étude, je dois dire que la formation mécanique ne me satisfait pas pleinement. Le stage de fin d'année m'a confirmé que je ne me voyais pas dans cette branche pour 30ans.
Je suis donc actuellement en pleine reflexion, je vous expose mes choix:
* Passionné de photo depuis quelques années, j'ai déjà envisagé de partir étudier la photographie à Montreal. Malheureusement les bonnes formations photos accordées aux étrangers sont très chères. De plus je ne me fais pas d'illusion, vivre correctement de la photographie de nos jours, a part un grand coup de bol, c'est dur...
* En considérant que j'ai déja fait 2 ans d'études dans la branche mécanique (voir même plus en comptant les cours de SI au lycée), je me dis pourquoi pas continuer jusqu'au bout de cette formation, sachant que la seule condition à cela serait de me diriger vers le secteur aéronautique. J'ai donc repéré l'IUT Blagnac à Toulouse qui propose une licence pro en maintenance aéronautique qui me botte bien. Mais ça implique de rester en France (pas dérangeant si je peux ensuite bouger ensuite). Sachant que les places sont quand même assez chères, et qu'une demande d'inscription n'aboutira pas forcément, même si je pense que mon année à l'étranger ne peut être qu'un plus. D'autre part j'ai obtenu des classements correct dans mon IUT, alors c'est pas impossible !
* Partir étudier dans le domaine aéronautique au Quebec dès la rentrée prochaine, sachant que je n'ai pas trouvé grand chose après mon niveau d'études (sans prétention aucune, j'ai juste trouvé des formations pré-bac), en avez vous a me conseiller? Sachant que je ne voudrais pas être bloqué au Quebec a cause de mes diplômes, pensez vous qu'il soit possible de trouver un job en France avec un diplôme québecois?
* Trouver un autre secteur d'activité qui me permette de voyager, mais la je sèche je ne trouve rien de vraiment exitant. Et puis cette envie de bouger est peut être passagère, qu'en sera t'il quand j'aurais 40ans et envie de me poser, avec un métier ou je dois voyager quotidiennement?
* En tant que frontalier j'ai la possibilité de travailler en Suisse après ma licence pro (si je vais a Toulouse), de mettre un peu de sous de côté et de voyager plus tard (option qui me plait moyennement)
Voila c'est un peu confus, je voulais que vous sachiez un peu comme tout est flou dans ma tête avant de pouvoir me conseiller 🙂🙂
La partie qui vous concerne donc serait la formation a Montréal. Qui me tente vraiment, sachant que cela implique un cout conséquent entre les études et les billets d'avions, mais si je suis vraiment motivé mes parents suivront (pas 5 ans non plus).
Auriez vous des bonnes formations dans le domaine de l'aéronautique au Québec? Je sais que c'est un secteur très important au Canada, pas de soucis pour trouver du boulot derrière donc après le diplôme !
En admettant que je sois a Toulouse l'an prochaine et que j'empoche ma Licence en Maintenance Aéronautique, pensez vous qu'il soit envisageable de décoller pour le Quebec et de trouver un boulot la bas avec un BAC+3 Français?
Enfin, si vous n'avez aucune idée des formations Canadiennes qui pourraient m’intéresser, vous pouvez juste me dire ce que vous feriez à ma place, avec un peu plus de bouteille peut être, de recul, d’expérience !
Car je suis un peu perdu dans tout ça, mais je me dis que si je ne voyage pas maintenant, ce sera plus difficile ensuite...

Ben mon gars pour quelqu'un qui a seulement 21 ans tu te dem..(debrouilles) pas mal du tout. J'aurai bien aime avoir ta clarte quand j'avais moi meme 21 ans. Selon moi, vu le contexte actuel, il faudrait viser Montreal car dans la grande banlieue, il y a pas mal de boites dans la maintenance aeronautique. Un visa de resident te sera facilement accorde vu tes qualifications, ce qui te permettra plus tard de faire des formations/etudes aux prix residents (y compris des cours d'anglais gratuits).
Par ailleurs apres 3 ans tu pourra devenir citoyen canadien, une double nationalite n'est pas negliger par les temps qui courrent.
La Suisse est une option jouable mais la concurrence et le cout de la vie prohibitif rendent la donne plus delicate.
Habitant pres de la frontiere, je travaillais souvent sur des concerts en Suisse avec des accords oraux par telephone et je n'ai jamais eu de pepins. La Suisse est nettement plus reglo que la France, il n'y a pas de bonnes surprises ni de mauvaises d'ailleurs et en avancant dans l'age on apprecie.
Une autre option serait ( si tu parviens a un niveau d'anglais decent) a voir les options avec l'organisation mondiale de l'avation qui a des bureaux a la fois a Geneve et a Montreal. Il s'agit le plus souvent de boulot de bureaux mais il y a peut etre des postes techniques. Il font meme des stages

Je vais eplucher ton lien cet après midi (si j'ai bien compris c'est une école que je pourrais intégrer dès la rentrée prochaine, ou bien juste un entreprise dans laquelle je peux esperer travailler plus tard ?) En effet, Montréal, Genève, Miami, Singapour et Madrid dans une même boite, ça fait rêver !!!
Dans le cas ou je choisirais de partir au Quebec directement pour étudier, aurait du des formations a me conseiller? Je ne trouve pas grand chose en post bac a Montreal dans le secteur aéronautique.

La plupart des pays dits developpes tiennent a jour une liste des metiers dits deficitaires dont le pays a besoin. Une qualification figurant sur cette accelere d'habitude singulierement le traitement du dossier d'immigration. Il y a d'habitude une liste national pour le pays et souvent egalement des listes par etats/provinces (Australie/Canada).
Apres avoir un peu reflechi a ton cas, tu devrais viser 2 pays:Australie et Canada car la paperasse est la meme: traduction certifiee conforme des diplomes, casier judiciaire, examen medical, etc. Tant qu'a faire mise sur 2 chevaux.
C'est ce que j'avais fait il y a 15 ans, une demande de residence permanente au Canada et une carte verte aux USA, j'ai finalement eu les 2 et je me suis decide pour les USA ( pas sur d'ailleurs 12 ans apres d'avoir fait le bon choix mais en tout bien mieux loti qu'en France).
Vu ton cas de figure, il est urgent de prendre rdv ou d'envoyer un mail a la delegation du Qubec en leur expliquant ton projet et leur demandant la marche a suivre pour un visa etudiant ou immigrant:

Tu devrais essayer de privilegier une immigration car si tu obtiens le statut de resident, tu peux ensuite beneficier de tarif resident pour les etudes d'ou une economie formidable. le seul hic, c'est ton manque d'experience professionelle mais vu ton domaine et ton age, ca peut etre passer. Faire un stage professionelle (internship en anglais) serait un moyen de booster ta candidature. Tu peux toujours essayer, tu n'as pas grand chose a perdre.

Attention: un DEC est peut-être considéré comme l'équivalent d'un bac français pour les établissements scolaires et l'immigration, mais pas pour les employeurs, généralement ils n'en ont rien à f.... des diplômes français (diplômes pas particulièrement valorisés au Canada). Il vaut mieux avoir un diplôme local pour faire carrière au Québec!
Donc oui, un baccalauréat canadien si tu veux poursuivre tes études au niveau "licence".

il y a des accords France/Québec conclus entre le PM du Québec J Charest et Mr Sarkozy.
Donc peux-être tu auras le droit d'obtenir une équivalence.
Sinon il faudra peut-être refaire une formation locale.
Le bassin d'emploi c'est essentiellement à Mirabel , il y a plein d'usines de constructions aéros et Bell Helicopter.
Le principal constructeur c'est Bombardier je crois qu'ils ont une usine à Mirabel ( à vérifier )
Une chose que tu peux faire c'est postuler pour Messier-Dowty une entreprise française installée également vers Mirabel, on voit l'usine sur la 40 ( ou la 117) en allant sur Saint-Jêrome.
Peut-être qu'en se faisant embaucher en France ils peuvent te détacher au Québec...
Une fois que tu auras dépassé tous les obstacles, je tiens à préciser que c'est une activité très cyclique la construction aéronautique.
Soit la conjoncture est bonne il y a du boulot pour tout le monde, soit les commandes sont en baisse et beaucoup se retrouvent au chômage technique..

Les formations les plus courtes sont les DEP (diplôme d'études professionnelles), durée d'environ 1-1 an et demi.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
