Pour commencer je me présente, je suis Nicolas, j'ai 18 ans et j'habite Rodez (Aveyron, France).
Avec ma copine nous avons comme projet de partir vivre à Montréal.
Ma copine est actuelement en Bac pro comptabilité et gestion. Pour ma part je suis en Cap Routier pour obtenir mes permis et ensuite faire une formation de Conducteur d'engin de travaux public. (Le métier que je souhaite exercer).
Nous comptons partir l'année prochaine en vacances pour découvrir la ville et savoir si cela nous plaît réelement.
Notre projet est de finir nos études en France et de travailler quelques temps pour ensuite partir avec un Budjet.
J'aimerais connaitre l'avis de personnes qui ont immigrer à Montéal ou aux alentours, nous sommes aussi à la recherche de conseils.
Nous avons aussi quelques questions :
- Nos métiers sont il recherchés labas ?
- Les diplômes français sont-il "bien vu" ?
- Il y a t-il des infos importante à savoir ?

Ils ne sont pas reconnus, sauf rares exceptions.
Il vous faudra refaire une formation ici, et parfois c'est assez long.

Euh oui, beaucoup de choses... Fouillez ce forum et les forums qui traitent directement de l'immigration au Canada, vous y trouverez beaucoup d'informations.
À votre place, je partirais en PVT pour faire une formation ici, dans une université/école québécoise...
À mon avis, commencez plutôt par un voyage touristique. Pour vos études, essayez de les faire à Montréal pour avoir un diplôme canadien! L'autre option, venez en PVT après vos études en France pour découvrir le pays et avoir une petite expérience professionnelle locale.
Attention: vous ne pouvez pas étudier à temps plein avec un PVT, c'est un permis de travail, pas un permis d'études.

Concernant les infos j'ai déjà parcouru pas mal de sujet sur ce forum ainsi que plusieurs sites / forum.
Je vais aller me renseigner sur le PVT étant donner que nous n'avons pas les moyens financier pour partir etudier sur place.
Si les formations ne sont pas trop longue (3-4mois par exemple) et ne consiste pas à tout recommencer à 0 ce n'est pas un problème. Je comptais déjà faire une formation pour tout se qui est deneigement urbain.

Par cette Entente, la France et le Québec adoptent une procédure commune de reconnaissance des qualifications professionnelles qui viendra faciliter et accélérer l’acquisition d’un permis pour l’exercice d’un métier ou d’une profession réglementé sur l’un et l’autre territoire.
Donc nos études serront-elle reconus ?

C'est ce que l'on appelle la théorie... en pratique, c'est nettement plus nuancé.
Dans certains corps de métiers - et ils sont nombreux - sans formation canadienne (euh québécoise, pardon... 😇), point de salut.
Alors je vous conseille vivement, notamment pour toi (pour ta copine cela devrait aller), de faire une formation ici.

Oui je te le conseille. Et de toute façon, une immigration coûte très cher, alors c'est à réfléchir.

Quand on parle de reconnaissance de diplômes, c'est pour les ordres et corporations professionnelles. Pour certaines professions, il faut obtenir un droit de pratique pour pouvoir travailler, c'est ce que fait la reconnaissance de diplômes dans cette entente, afin de permettre aux diplômés étrangers de pouvoir intégrer plus facilement un ordre professionnel (se rappeler que les ordres relèvent du privé et non du gouvernement). Mais si vos professions/métiers ne font pas parties d'un ordre obligatoire, l'origine diplôme en lui même ne pose pas forcément de problème, le défi sera d'acquérir une première expérience professionnelle.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
