Voila pour faire court, j'ai envie d'aller vivre en Thailande pour monter un projet qui ma toujour tenu à coeur : monter une auberge. Je suis conscien de tous les papiers et autres réglementations concernant l'aquisition de terre pour un expat.
Après être parti labas 1 mois pour des vacances, j'ai l'intention d'y retourner afin de voir la réalité en bossant quelques temps, d'acquérir un visas et un work permis. Cependant après mettre renseigné un peut partout il est dit que beaucoup de métiers sont réservés exclusivement aux Thailandais. Que peut on faire en tant qu'expat?
J'ai comme compétence : bepa aménagement paysager, Bac STAE, Bts production horticole, bts commerciale dans le végétale et license proffessionel commercialisation des végétaux et produit connexe. nivo bac+3
Ayant travaillé 1 an à CARREFOUR et sachant que cette entreprise est implanté en Thailande et notamment à Bangkok je pense que ça pourrait être une bonne opportunité de départ. Je ne sais pas du tous si un Français pourrait être embauché dans cette entreprise?
Je fais appel à vous afin de connaitre les différents djob qu'un expat peut avoir labas? Vous qu'avez vous fait comme boulot de départ?
Mon but serait de travailler quelques temps sur bangkok pour voir la réalité des choses et me permettre d'apprendre le Thaï dans une école dès que j'ai un peut de temps libre.

La Thaïlande est très grande consommatrice de légumes et fruits.
Vu ton parcours c'est un plus...car la technique c'est pas des pros.😕
Je fournis plusieurs tonnes de piments/jours sur bkk...et autres légumes.

Carrefour pourrait être envisageable en tant que chef de rayon (un chef de rayon français se faisant muter en Thaïlande ou chef de secteur, ...) mais je ne pense pas en tant que simple coéquipier pour de la mise en rayon: ils préfèreront alors embaucher des thais😉
Si je comprend bien pour travailler en Thailande il faut pas espérer trouver un ptit djob car tous cela sont réservés pour les thailandais. Je suis assez hembêté car mon objectif serait de trouver juste un pti boulot au départ pour me permettre de me familiariser avec le pays, améliorer mon anglais et apprendre le Thaï et rien de tel que l'insertion professionnel avec biensure des cours de Thai en paralelle. Je ne sai plus comment faire... Sur place je pense aussi que ça sera plus facile pour trouver.

tu t'en doutes, faut bien préparer ton projet et prévois de quoi te retourner.
Personnellement, j'ai jamais vu d'expat dans des petits boulots là-bas ... je crains que ce soit très vite la galère : droits sociaux, horaires, salaires ... on doit pas être dépaysé dans le bon sens de ce côté là, d'autant plus pour un "petit boulot" !!
S'ils sont charmants, les thai n'en restent pas moins dans leur monde à eux ... ça veut dire que tu seras dans le leur et pas en position de force. Faut bien piger qu'il y a ce qui est thai et ce qui ne l'est pas ... Ils ont une notion très aigue de cela.
Faut un peu stationner là-bas pour s'en rendre compte; et y aller en sortant du circuit bien balisé pour touristes, où on est souvent cantonnés.
Ne pas sous estimer la difficulté de la langue non plus : 76 lettres, 5 tons ... c'est pas se remettre à l'anglais vite fait.
Tu peux croiser des expat qui au bout de 10 ans te disent qu'ils ont abandonné l'idée d'essayer de lire, qu'ils captent à peu près une conversation mais que c'est plus chaud pour s'exprimer avec aisance.
Je cherche pas à te décourager, mais plutôt à souligner des réels obstacles auxquels il faut se préparer sous peine de déconvenue.

Merci de ta réponse 🙂 J'ai abandonné l'idée du pti boulot labas. La seule possibilité est d'être sociétaire je m'en suis rendu-compte après pas mal d'info reçu par des contacts labas. C'est claire que quand on est touriste dans ce pays on ne voi pas la réalité et les Thaï sont professionnels en la matière pour que tu reste cantonné dans le tourisme.
Je vais donc me poser sur bangkok dans un appart si possible 100euros/mois pour rencontrer un maximum d'expatriés et faire le tour des affaires que l'on peut acquérir. Une école pour apprendre le thaï est prévu et mon amie Thailandaise pourra aussi m'aider. Je compte aussi aller souvant à l'embassade.
Le plus important est je pense rencontrer un maximum de Thaï parlant l'anglais et un peu le français et biensure beaucoup de recul pour ne pas rentrer dans le stéréotype avec les Thai(e) 😛 qui cherche à s'interésser qu'a ton portefeuille de Français.
Bien entendu régime Thai et oublier le MAC DO et la clop trop chère.
Si durant se séjour ça n'abouti à rien tout est booké pour mon retour à la vie active en France. Dans tous les cas j'ai tout à y gagner et pas de regret pour plus tard. J'en suis pas encore là tout dépendera de ce que je trouverai labas se sera une super expéreince et un gros enrichissement personnel dans tous les cas. Après j'envisagerai un autre séjour labas pour plus de concret.

Sais tu que la thailande est connue pour ses green de golf, y a peut être matière à creuser la-dessus pour toi vu ta formation horticole, taper dans tt ce qui est espace vert semble logique.
J'ai un peu la meme idée que toi: Partir un temps en "reconnaissance" apprendre le thai et travailler dans n'importe quel domaine.
D'apres ce que j'ai pu voir dans les forums, divers articles et "un peu" sur place, c'est vrai que les petits boulots sont plus pour les locaux.
J'ai entendu dire que des boulots de figurants étaient pas mal recherché.
Pour ce qui est d'etre secrétaire, on m'a dit que c'était souvent des personnes parlant thai et anglais qui étaient rechercher.
Personnelement je compte partir 6mois a 1an a compter de decembre 09.
Je continue a chercher aussi de mon coté, donc si j'ai des infos interessantes je te les partagerais.

J'ai trouvé mon bonheur! ça fait depuis un moi que je suis en thailande maintenant et j'ai trouvé de quoi démarer içi, je compte m'investir à fond. Pour ce qui est de la restauration je pense que le marché est saturé si vous faites la meme chose que vos voisins. Bon courage dans vos recherches. Le secret un grain de folie et beaucoup de foi et surtout pas perdre de vue qu'on est capable et pas capable de faire certaines choses. Beaucoup de Farang veulent vivre içi et beaucoup se casse les dents. Ne pensez pas que c'est facile loin de là. Bonne chance dans votre aventure. Tous commence içi ;) welcome to thailand.

J'en profite, vu que tu es deja la bas, pour savoir si tu as des bon plans concernant l'hebergement, le visa, les cours de thai (celle de jean luc a l'air bien) et bien sur le travail.

Alors nivo hébergement je te conseil le Aiya résidence sport and club. 8000 bath le mois et 550 bth/mois pour la connection wii-fee qui pour moi est indispensable. Service de chambre compris dans le prix. Par contre électricité et eau à ta charge. Il y a une piscine aussi, plutot simpa quand on veut faire un peu de sport pour se détendre les neurones. Le seul souci est que l'hotel est à 20 minutes de marche du terminus Saphan Taksin. Le probleme sera règlé le 15 mai ils vont ouvrir la fin de la ligne. Merci encore à la personne qui ma donné cette adresse sur ce forum 😏
Si tu compte rester 6 mois je te conseil fortement de louer un condo c'est bien moin chère.
Pour le visa et bien tu peus rester en Thailande pour 30 jours au delà il te faudra un visas touristique que tu dois faire au préalable avant de partir pour rester un moi de plus. Il parait que se visas peut être renouvable sur place. Ton objectif sera le work permit si tu compte rester et travailler içi.
Pour ce qui est des cours de thai je te conseil de trouver une thailandaise qui pourra t'aider et c'est pas ce qui manque içi. Cependant l'anglais te sera plus utile au départ. Les cours de Thai moi c'était pas prévu dans mon budget à toi de voire.
Pour ce qui est du boulot tous dépend de ce que tu recherche? Juste un conseil ne voie pas les choses de manière trop idilique.

Ta part de réussite commence par le fait de venir içi après avoir au préable fait un max de recherche sur différents forum. Surtout ne pas se bloquer à tous prix sur une seule idée. Tes idées changerons quand tu seras labas. Trouve toi un ami qui à le mème gout d'aventure que toi car ça aide d'avoir quelqu'un à qui tu peus te confier, ça te reboost quand ça vat mal. N'oublie pas une fois labas de jamais perdre ton objectif de vue.

La Thaïlande est un pays qui se développe beaucoup mais dont le principe et de faire travailler les Thaïlandais avant tous mais beaucoup d'entreprise s'installe là-bas et sont supervisé par des étrangers car il faut régulièrement surveiller le personnel Thaïlandais , il ne manque pas de motivation dans le travail mais mais il faut tous leur apprendre et une chose après l'autre
il y a de nombreux site francophone qui peuvent vous donner des conseils pour s'installer mais il faut savoir écouter et faire le tri dans tous ce qui se dis autour de soi

Si vous arriver a trouver un travail la-bas on s'occuperas de vous fournir un permis de travail et un droit de séjour à l'année qui est renouvelable tous les ans
C'est un beaucoup qui as beaucoup a apprendre dans beaucoup de domaine car en dehors du médical, tous le reste a 20 ans de retard comparé a la France, mais cela reste une plaque tournante de l'Asie du sud est
Une chose est sur c'est que le nombre d'expatrié augmente régulièrement en France

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland?
