Je voudrais savoir quel est le visa qu'il faut avoir pour pouvoir travailler en equateur! Je compte partir avec mon cheri pour un an en tant que professeur (ma fac me fournit mon visa) mais pour lui, y a t-il un visa pour travailler un an la bas et quels sont les prix?

les pre-requis pour obtenir un visa de travail ou de résidence en Equateur ne sont pas très compliqués.
Une option rapide est de faire la demande d'un visa 12 IX (actos de comercio) à l'ambassade d'Equateur a Paris. Je l'ai fait en 2015, ça coûtait 200USD. Ils te demandent une lettre de motivation (tu expliques ce que tu veux faire comme activité), des formulaires, un extrait de casier judiciaire (je crois...). Tu passes un "entretien" à l'ambassade (c'est tranquille) et c'est valable 6 mois à partir de la date d'entrée dans le pays. Je ne sais pas si c'est renouvelable une fois dans le pays???
Après ça, je suis passé sur un visa de résidence (visa 9 V professionnel). Ca se fait sur place. Il faut avoir au moins une licence d'une université étrangère reconnue par l'Equateur
Mais ça c’est plus long (de 2 a 5 mois), c'est plus cher (environ 500USD). Il te faut faire légaliser (= apostiller selon la convention de La Haye dans les tribunaux en France) le diplôme, l'extrait du casier judiciaire (demande en ligne) et déposer tout ça a la SENESCYT puis au ministère des relations extérieures en Equateur.
Avec ça tu peux rester indéfiniment dans le pays et y travailler.
C'est mon expérience. Après les lois changent en permanence en Equateur donc à toi de vérifier si les infos sont toujours valables.
Il y a aussi d'autres possibilités légales et moins légales... (certains bossent ici sur un visa de tourisme... mais la c'est toi qui voit)

Tu sais si les loyers sont chers? J'ai une place de prof à Quito, Ambato ou Latacunga et je ne sais pas ou je vais attérir. Et Les soins sont ils chers? J'ai un pb de santé qui nécessite un traitement assez lourd. Les pharmacies sont-elles équipées?

Il y a des disparités très fortes entre Quito et les provinces tant au niveau des prix que de la qualité de l'offre de santé.
Je vis à Ibarra une ville de 130 000 habitants, à peu près la taille de Latacunga ou Ambato.
Ici, un loyer moyen pour un appart de 2 chambres est de 200$. 100$ pour un studio et 300$ pour une maison. A Quito, d'autres pourront commenter mieux que moi, mais je dirais qu'il faut compter 500$ pour un appart correct bien situé.
Pour la question de la santé c'est plus compliqué de répondre.
Ici il y a 3 systemes:
- l'hopital public (payé par le gouvernement)
- l'IESS (une sorte de sécurité sociale à l’équatorienne payée par les entreprises. Si tu travailles de manière déclarée, ton employeur doit te payer l'accès à l'IESS)
- le réseau privé
Pour moi à Ibarra, aucun système n'est réellement performant. Pour l'hopital public et l'IESS, tu as des écarts de services énormes en fonction du médecin, de la ville, du jour, de la prestation de santé. En plus à l'IESS, il faut souvent attendre pour avoir un RDV.
Le réseau privé n'est pas beaucoup meilleur. Les meilleurs médecins allant vivre à Quito/Guayaquil où ils ont un meilleur salaire. En provinces, on se retrouve donc souvent avec les moins bons... Une consultation de généraliste dans le privé coûte environ 20$.
Enfin, c'est mon expérience perso à Ibarra...
Enfin, pour la pharmacie. Il y en a a chaque coin de rue. Les médicaments ne sont pas trop chers et il me semble qu'ils aient de tout (je suis plutôt en bonne santé donc je n'ai pas beaucoup d'exigence). Maintenant, ça dépend donc de tes besoins spécifiques...
Donc voila, il y a Quito (et peut être Guayaquil) quasi au standard occidental et le reste du pays ou c'est passable...
