Well! I was looking for info on Morocco and stumbled upon this discussion... I see there are some great people gathered here, so I’ll stick around for a bit .

I’ve never set foot in Morocco, so I’m no help on this post, but I’m still jotting down all the suggestions [embarrassed].

Good evening,I loved lunch on the terrace at Dar Dar. Reservation required. It’s on the street that starts from Place JEFN and leads to the Ferblantiers.
In the evening, I enjoyed Boz' in on the Ourika road. Reservations are also required there.

1/ In the itinerary, I’ve planned a day in Imlil with lunch in town and a short hike around.
Anyone have a nice spot (friendly place + good food) in the area where I could book directly?2/ I skipped Ouzoud (seems too touristy) for Imlil. But I’m still hesitating…

Hi there,Imlil is a small village with a parking lot. There are plenty of little restaurants. After parking your car, you can head to the waterfalls right nearby (there’s a cute café with your feet in the water!)
From there, walk up to the village of Armed. It’s easy, but if some people really can’t walk, there’s an excellent track for cars or, even more fun, a mule ride. In Armed, the restaurant Roches d’Armed has a breathtaking view of the Toubkal and the valley. The way back down is easy too.
A lovely, relaxing day—much less tiring than Ouzoud.If you can do this excursion on a Saturday, make a one-hour stop on the way at the big souk in Asni for a dose of picturesque charm! !

Hey,The two Kate mentioned are good—I’d add Oyama for Marrakech (no deposit required).

I’ve rented 3 times with Yacout Tours. Never had any issues. But that was 15+ years ago, and I see they’re still around—that’s a good sign.
