J'ai la possibilité de partir travailler au Vietnam à la fin de l'année dans la ville de Quy nhon, province de binh dinh. Nous serons trois, moi , ma femme et notre futur enfant qui aura trois mois. J'ai déjà séjourné au Vietnam pendant 6 mois en 2005 dans la province de Nge Han à Cua Hoi pour mon stage de fin de Master. Je sais à peu près à quoi m'attendre (notamment en terme de coin paumé mais on adore), et c'est bien pour ça que je me décide à y retourner. Mais malgré tout j'ai encore quelques intérrogations.
Le salaire que l'on me propose est de 2500$/mois soit environ 1800€. Je pense que ceci est suffisant mais je me méfie toujours du surcout de vie que l'on a en tant qu'expat par rapport à un voyage touristique ou étudiant.
Ma question est qu'en pensez vous? Est ce largement faisable ou faudra t il faire attention tout de même (je ne cherche pas le luxe mais un confort certain)
Je ne trouve pas d'offre de location pour les régions reculées. Pouvez me donner une idée pour une location d'une maison avec confort "moderne"; 2-3 chambres.
Je ne connais pas cette région, quelqu'un y serait il déjà passé?
Sans hésiter, je dirais que tu as la chance de partir avec un emploi deja en poche et qui est tres tres bien remunere pour le Vietnam et surtout pour Qui Nhon...c'est pas Saigon ! ou les prix de locations peuvent etre exorbitants !
Qui Nhon, mon ami y a travaille aussi et c'est encore comme tu le dis assez paume donc, tu trouveras un logement tout a fait convenable pour y faire vivre les tiens plus que confortablement...mais c'est une tres jolie petite station balneaire, pas touristique encore, un peu perdu mais c'est pas non plus desert !
C'est sur que tu ne trouveras pad d'offres de location pour Qui Nhon mais si ta boite a des contacts sur place, c'est comme une lettre a la poste. Enfin, un petit ordre de prix?...surement moins de 600 dollars et je vois large ! faut voir apres la maison !
C'est en tout cas une belle opportnité et avec la Reunion, tu ne seras pas trop trop depaysé ! fruits de mers etc...mais pas de rougate !
2500 USD a Quy Nhon, c'est un salaire de roi. Bien entendu, vous serez trois et il faut voir quelle sera ta couverture medicale (je pense surtout aux soins pour le bebe). Mais je t'assure qu'a ce prix, j'y fonce !!!

Pour ce qui est des locations, je ne sais pas quelles sont les disponibilites dans cette ville, mais a Nha Trang, par exemple, une maison moderne avec trois chambres, deux sdb, living, cuisine equipee se loue dans les 400 USD. Et Nha Trang est TRES chere par rapport a Quy Nhon. Tu devrais donc trouver ton bonheur dans les 300 USD maxi.
En ce qui concerne le cout de la vie, tu perdras un peu d'argent au debut (le temps que les commercants t'acceptent comme l'un des leurs et non comme un touriste), apres, si tu es un peu malin et bien accepte, tu paieras le prix normal, ce qui te fera faire beaucoup d'economies.
Une chose est a prevoir cependant dans ton budget, les voyages a Saigon ou Nha Trang pour t'approvisionner en certains produits occidentaux. En effet, il n'y a pas encore de COOP MART ou autre grande surface a Quy Nhon et donc pas de produits occidentaux disponibles. Nha Trang n'est qu'a qq heures de route a moto ou en bus, tu pourras donc y passer faire les courses speciales une ou deux fois par mois selon tes besoins. Pour les choses vraiment specifiques, Saigon est l'ideal bien evidemment, mais ca fait pas mal de route.
Au cours d'aujourd'hui, vos 2 500 $ valent 1 773, 55 € et vivre à 3 personnes avec ce montant même au Viêt Nam ne sera pas du très grand luxe, vous ne roulerez pas sur l'or. Je pense que c'est jouable, mais il faudra compter et faire des concessions.
Qui Nhon est située dans une jolie baie nichée au pied de hautes collines .
La ville est assez etendue .
Il y a une agréable promenade amenagée en bord de mer , envahie par les habitants passé 17 heures. Avant le soleil tape dur .
On y croise guére de touristes occidentaux et les gens sont un peu etonnés de voir un touriste "egaré" . Je n ai pas regretter d'y passer deux jours .
L arriére pays en allant vers Pleiku est une region agricole pas desagréable à traverser .
Je me rappelle qu il y a une petite communauté d'expatriés , australiens me semble-t-il .
Peut-etre ont ils un site ou tu pourrais glaner des renseignements .
A mon avis cette ville est appelée à se developper du point de vue touristique dans le futur.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
