C'est vrai, c'est casse pied mais je pense que tu ne perds pas au change, il me semble que c'est beaucoup plus sélect au niveau hôtel.
Mais suivant les gouts de chacun c'est pas spécialement mieux.

Je dois y aller pour 2 semaines le 13 janvier et je ne voudrais pas me voir transférée à Punta Cana. J'ai choisi Bayahibe pour sa proximité à Saona, Santo Domingo et Altos de Chavon que je veux visiter. De Punta Cana c'est beaucoup plus loin. En plus je veux pouvoir aller au village à pied pour vraiment voir un peu comment vivent les Dominicains. Alors si jamais ça m'arrive je n'ai pas l'intention d'accepter Punta Cana.

en vous lisant, mon sang n'a fait qu'un tour et j'ai telephoné à mon agence qui m'affirme que pour le moment ( avec marsans) ils n'ont aucun probleme et le voyage doit se derouler comme prévu
je suis rentré hier du casa del mar où je devais avoir rendez-vous avec folette. je ne l'ai jamais vu et je me demande si il ne lui est pas arrivé la même mésaventure car effectivement j'ai bien entendu parler de surbooking pendant mon séjour.
🙁Quand il y a Overbooking les gens devraient demander des compensations plus importantes, si tout les gens fesaient celà je crois que les grossistes en voyages y penseraient deux fois et prendraient des accord fermes avec les hôtels.
Je ne sais pas si c'est moi qui est dans l'erreur mais je constate qu'il y a de plus en plus d' overbooking dans le secteur de Bayahibe et les prix montent en flèche dans ce secteur.
Je suis allé au Dominicus Palace il y a 2 ans pour 2 semaines a l'époque j'avais payé $ 1850 et je n'avais réservé qu'un mois a l'avance, j'ai vérifier la semaine dernière et pour la même période $2650 et pourtant mon voyage n'était que pour la fin mars soit 4 mois a l'avance, je trouve celà un peu exagéré quand je compare a d'autre régions de la R.D. ou j'ai déjà séjourné et que les prix en moyenne n'ont augmenté que de $150 a $250 en moyenne pour 2 semaines.
Mais a ta place je ne craindrais pas trop car tu as réservé assez a l'avance!
C'est vrai que le secteur de Bayahibe est souvent touché par l'overbooking et je ne sais pas pourquoi...
D'habitude, ce sont les Québécois qui sont déplacés... C'est plus avantageux pour un hôtelier de réserver en euros, c'est plus payant!
C'est vrai également que les prix ont monté en flèche dans le coin... Prenez, par exemple, le magnifique Iberostar!!!
Pour l'overbooking, qu'on ait réservé bien d'avance, ou à la dernière minute, je ne crois pas que cela fasse une différence.
C'est vrai aussi qu'il ne faut pas accepter une telle situation. Quand on réserve à un endroit, c'est là, d'habitude, qu'on veut aller. Pas ailleurs! Surtout dans le cas de Bayahibe et Punta Cana. Deux destinations quand même bien différentes.
Heureusement, je n'ai jamais eu à vivre une telle aventure!!!!

Nous avons réservé mon conjoint et moi du 20 février au 6 mars, Au Casa Del Mar... Je panique un peu en lisant qu'il y a de l'overbooking au Casa.. ( surtout pour les Québécois ), Est-ce que vous croyez que l'on peut faire quelque chose quand cela arrive. Peux-t'on exiger de rester àl 'hotel ou bien l'on n'a pas le choix de partir pour un autre hotel. Mon grossiste est Vacances Air Transat.

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
