Tell me what you think about this hotel because I’ve been there five times now and I still love it..............

Hi Charlène,

I like this hotel too. I’ve been there twice already and I’m actually going back soon.

Value for money: absolutely no complaints..................................

Hi, could you tell me more about the hotel, the beach, the rooms, and the entertainment?

Is it true that Boca Chica has become the place you shouldn’t go out at night too much?

Said by a travel agent advisor recently?

Because the prices are attractive, and I’m going to book quickly since I plan to go to the DR in January or February 2004;

Thanks for more info😉

Great value for money, decent entertainment, but be careful—cheap doesn’t always mean well-located. It’s better to go with Avione or Marsans rather than Switch😏

You can go out at night without any worries at all.

The rooms at Dominican Bay aren’t all the same—it’s best to ask for a room in buildings 10 to 20, as they’re more recent than those in 1 to 10.

The beach in Boca Chica is really beautiful, the lagoon is very warm. You can go out without any problem in Boca Chica. I recommend RECREATION TOURS for your excursions—head to the shop side. Francis and the young woman will welcome you properly, and it’s about half the price of what you’d pay at the hotel. Agencies push Punta Cana because they get big commissions. Could you let me know your exact travel dates, by the way? Thanks.

I disagree with saying that agents earn a bigger bonus selling Punta Cana instead of Boca Chica.

I have several friends who own condos and motels there, and they themselves confirm it’s dangerous. Maybe you’ve just been lucky so far. Punta Cana is quieter and certainly safer. In Boca Chica, there are hotels where travel advisors can also earn a higher bonus, but a good agent should care about their client’s safety as much as the destination they’re sending them to. I care about my clients as if it were my own vacation, and especially after they return, I call them to get their feedback on their trip. That’s how we do our job—otherwise, we should change careers...

Hi Annie, my husband and I are planning to visit Boca Chica in late December/early January and stay at an all-inclusive hotel.

We’re looking for the best value-for-money excursions—local experiences, not the usual tourist traps.

I saw you mentioned someone named Francis. Is he still on the island?

Thanks, Cindy
