Je suis depuis 5 ans en France et ai vécu 18 ans à Dakar.
Je pense que comme vous, je rêve d'ailleurs.
Je ne sais pas si cela est réaliste ou non, mais je ferai tout pour. Je souhaite obtenir des informations sur les moyens existants pour trouver un emploi si possible avant de partir, et sinon que pensez vous de trouver un emploi sur place ?
J'oubliais : j'ai une licence en marketing.. et ici rien ne va pour moi, vu mon principal défaut récurrent : le manque d'expérience...😠
Bref, j'aimerai également prendre contact avec des personnes qui aspirent aux mêmes volontés que moi pour la Nouvelle Calédonie, mais aussi avec ceux qui ont réussi leur pari et qui sont peut être déjà sur place.

par contre tu verras que pour les emplois la devise des syndicats est qu'à competence égale, la priorité soit donnée aux "locaux"
Je ne savais pas que l'économie allait bien en ce moment, tant mieux. Par contre je commence à douter vu que beaucoup me le disent : priorité aux locaux..
En France, tu as raison, il y a de forts bons cotés. (surtout l'été)
Mais l'emploi se fait rare. Je démarre dans la vie active et voilà que cela fait 1 an que je ne trouve rien de valable.
Alors peut être que ma chance est ailleurs.
J'ai vu que cela faisait longtemps que tu y habites. Comment as tu eu cette chance si ce n'est pas indiscret ?

Moi aussi, j'ai du mal a revivre en France aprés avoir passé 5 ans en Amérique du Sud.
J'ai un pote en Calédonie, que j'ai visité en aout 2005, il y est installé depuis 6 ans en agriculture, et tout ce passe a merveille d'aprés lui.
je compte y retourner ds 1mois pour aprofondir mon premier voyage et peut etre m'y installer.
Aprés avoir passé un mois sur le térritoire, j'en suis revenu enchanté, a tout niveau.
On y retrouve l'esprit d'aventure, et de liberté, q'on n'a plus en Europe.
La Calédonie a besoin d'investisseurs ds des secteurs bien précis.
Je pense que tout les gens qui veulent s'investir on leur chance sur ce lieu magique!

en 1989, c'était plus facile, on n'avait pas encore ce credo ressassé de priorité aux emplois locaux; sans compter qu'à l'époque j'étais venu en vacances et que c'est par hasard qu'on m'a proposé du boulot ( remarque les bts chimie ne courraient pas les rues à l'époque à Nouméa) et comme je venais de passer un an en interim en métropole, je n'ai pas hesité😏
Je vois que c'est pour beaucoup la même chose.. Je suis très optimiste, et je pense que le paradis (si l'on peut dire cela) est accessible à qui s'en donne les moyens.
Sebastiano, l'Amérique du Sud cela doit être quelque chose de fantastique ! le retour en France, c'est sur n'est pas facile après cela. Surtout les rapports avec les gens. Dans le Sud de la France, les gens sont très superficiels bien que très ouverts. Mais les relations ne durent pas souvent.
Je connais un couple, ami de mes parents, qui vivent en Nouvelle Calédonie et sont des anciens dakarois. Mais je ne les connais pas assez. Ils ont monté leur boite et tout va pour eux. Mais ils disent comme toi Gil, que le chômage est hélas présent.
De toute façon, que faire, c'est mondial.. alors autant allait là où çà nous chante 🙂

Pour La Nouvelle-Calédonie, le cout des logements est assez élevé non ? l'ennuyeux reste l'éloignement avec la famille quand on s'entend bien.. c'est sur que les aller retour peuvent vite devenir une ruine. 😕

C'est marrant, mes parents ont un peu la même histoire. Ils se sont rencontré en France, ont décidé de tout plaqué pour l'Afrique par car Wolswagen... (pas sur de l'orthographe de ce truc ..🤪)
Bref ils se sont installés à Dakar et figure toi que ma mère a le même BTS que toi ! Ils y ont vécu du coup 30 ans et moi suis née là bas.
Je pense que c'est à cause d'eux que je rêve sans cesse d'ailleurs, au soleil.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
