Comme mon titre l'indique, j'aimerai faire une séjour linguistique au USA l'année prochaine (aout ou septembre 2012) et je veux m y prendre a temps. (L'Angleterre étant a 2H de chez moi, j'ai besoin de partir vraiment loin pour vivre l'expérience a fond)
Jusque là ok, j ai fais des recherches un peu partout sur le net et je trouve des écoles de langues telles que 'EF' 'Languesvivantes' 'ELS' 'AILS' etc mais elles sont extrêmement cheres!
entre 6000 et 9000€ pour partir 4 mois a l'étranger c' est vraiment une aberration. Parfois il y a le logement compris parfois pas...
Moi, je travaille en ce moment et mon contrat fini en juin 2012, je veux profiter de cette occasion pour perfectionner mon anglais. Je mets de coté pour économiser mais je n'ai pas papa et maman pour m'aider. Donc si je dois compter tous les frais plus le vol aller-retour qui n'est pas compris, je pars fauché. Quel intérêt de partir fauché et de rester 4 mois sans un sous....
J'aimerai savoir si certaines personnes ont fait ce genre de voyage, les expériences, etc.... Tout ce qui pourrait m'aider.
J'ai aussi demandé auprès d'un bureau de chômage s'il était possible d'avoir une sorte de bourse pour un tel voyage ou bien avoir droit au chômage ou une autre aide. G vu qu'on pouvait y avoir droit pour un certain laps de temps a l'étranger (le chômage).
J'ai 25 ans du coup les bourses d'étude je n'y ai plus droit (bourse Marchal max 21 ans :s). (je n'ai pas encore eu de réponses, je les ai contacté hier seulement)
C'est vraiment qqchose que je veux faire et j'aimerai que l'argent ne soit pas un frein.
Serait-il peut être plus facile de partir soit même? de louer un appartement en colocation, de trouver des cours de langues? Mais cela me semble si compliqué à faire seule et ne parlant pas très bien la langue en plus :s
Ah, j'ai oublié de mentionner l'endroit. J'aimerai partir à Miami. Non pour l'endroit mais plus pour la facilité. Je ne pourrai pas prendre beaucoup de valises, autant aller dans un endroit ou la température ne varie que très peu et pouvoir toujours mettre les mêmes vêtements. C'est également moins cher qu'a New York ou Los Angeles, d'où mon choix.

Je ne suis pas dans le contexte mais puisque tu parles de bourses, essaie de voir du côté de l'UE mais bien sûr cela s'appliquerait uniquement aux pays de l'UE (normal). Ainsi, il y a PEUT-ETRE des programmes dans ce sens. Par contre, oublie les bourses pour les US !
Pourquoi tu pars pas au Canada, Australie ou Nouvelle-Zélande avec le visa vacances travail?
Au moins là tu peux bosser sur place et financer ton séjour!
C'est certain qu'un voyage et qui plus est pour apprendre une langue ca côute. Mais c'est tellement une expérience magnifiqueque j'ai eu la chance de vivre à l'été 2008 à Miami. Moi, j'avais choisi le bureau AILS de Bruxelles pour me conseiller et j'ai été très courtoisement reçue et conseillée par le responsable de l'agence. Je te conseille la famille d'accueil, c'est un must et c'est moins cher. !! Au sinon, ca trop la galère de tout organiser par toi mm; t'imagines les démarches de dingues !! Ca m'a l'air pas mal du tout ce que propose les autres "collègues" sur ce post. Un vIsa qui te permet une école de langue et de bosser en mm temps, faut que je check clairement!! Quelqu'un a plus d'info sur ces visas spéciaux? Comment qu'on fait ? ... Merci !!!!!

J'ai tenté l'expérience une fois en indonésie en 2008 (dans une famille francophone)... Ca s'est super bien passé mais je n avais pas bcp de temps pour moi non plus et je veux une belle expérience enrichissante et où je peux aussi en profiter à fond. Je veux pouvoir faire plein de rencontres, visiter aussi des endroits dès que j'en ai l'occasion et pouvoir aussi faire un peu la fête.... Et pas devoir me mettre a repasser et a faire le diner pour des petits, donner le bain, etc (je n'ai pas beaucoup de patience pour celà). J'ai fait assez de baby-sitting dans ma vie :p
Peut-être que tu trouveras moins cher si tu vas dans une ville qui a un climat subtropical comme Miami, mais où il y a moins de touristes:
Regarde en Alabama, Mississippi, Georgie, Caroline du Sud.
D'autres villes sympa en Floride sont Gainesville et Talahassee, ce n'est pas au bord de la mer mais ce sont des villes étudiantes donc il y a de l'ambiance.
Le problème est que tu ne peux pas travailler aux US si tu n''est pas jeune fille au pair. A la limite si tu es étudiante tu peux travailler sur le campus mais tu devras payer les frais d'inscription, etc..
Comme indiqué ci-dessus, un bon truc est le visa vacances/travail pour le Canada ou l'Australie, tu as le droit de travailler comme tu veux pendant 1 an et tu peux aussi t'amuser ou faire ce que tu veux le reste du temps. Les petits contrats sont faciles à trouver, généralement payés au mois (voire même à la semaine). Mais ça n'existe pas pour les US.
