Hi there,

We're heading to Praslin, La Digue, and Mahé for 15 days in early March. Do you have any good snorkeling spots to recommend? Just to let you know, we're beginners, and I get scared easily if it's too deep.

Also, another important question: what do you do with your belongings on the beach while snorkeling? Our phones, accommodation keys, wallets, etc.?

Thanks for your tips!

Hi, You can find waterproof pouches in diving gear shops, and also online, in various sizes to carry your phone, money, keys, etc.

Good evening, Sure, apart from a waterproof pouch for the essentials, there aren’t really any other solutions... just take the minimum with you to be safe.

For PMT (snorkeling) spots, you’ve got Anse Soleil, Port Launay, and the beach where the restaurant Le Surfer’s is. For Praslin, the weather was awful, so we didn’t see much...

On the pier at Anse Source d’Argent and Grande Anse, but there aren’t any real snorkeling spots—the seabeds are devastated... The best option is to take an excursion from Anse Volbert to visit the little islets nearby... congrats, Coco little sister...

Have a good evening!

Hi there!

Diving in the Seychelles in early March is amazing—the weather is warm, the water is at 29 °C, and visibility is excellent, which is perfect for beginners! For beach snorkeling, keep your valuables in a waterproof bag and lock them in your hotel or rent a beach locker. Worried about your phone signal leaking? jammermfg.com/fr protects your privacy! Wishing you a safe and fantastic 15-day diving trip!

Another one shamelessly plugging their stuff—no subtlety at all. No wonder the post doesn’t make much sense. 😏
