Premier post dans ce forum que je consulte pourtant depuis longtemps! Voilà, je suis étudiant et j'ai obtenu il y a plusieurs mois un stage pour cet été à Bangkok. L'actualité étant celle que nous connaissons tous, je me pose des questions concernant les assurances.
Je suis Suisse, je suis couvert par le livret ETI mundo. Toutefois le DFAE annonce : "Les voyages en Thailande présentent des risques." Si j'ai bien compris les conditions générales du livret ETI je ne suis pas couvert si je souhaite tout de même partir.
Les assurances sont quasi toutes pour "le tourisme" et sont quasi toutes les mêmes au niveau des CG, aussi je me demande si il existe des assurances "plus professionnelles" je pense à celles pour journalistes par exemples ? Ou bien suis-je trop naïf et cela n'existe pas ?
Cette situation est vraiment délicate pour moi. Beaucoup d'argent non récupérable engagé pour un étudiant (Vaccins, visa, frais de dossiers…) sont engagés et ce stage est une vraie opportunité professionnelle qui ne se représentera pas.
Je ne suis pas une tête brûlée, mais je pars travailler pour un organisme d'état sous le couvert de l'université de Bangkok, je vais travailler avec des Thaï suceptible d'être au courant de l'actualité bien mieux qu'un tours operators pour ses touristes, aussi je ne pense pas me sentir plus en danger que ça aujourd'hui si je venais à partir enfin… vos avis ou remarques seraient les bienvenus.

c'est vrai qu' au vu de ce qu'il se passse là las actuellement, il n'y aura pas
beaucoup d'assurances qui voudront te couvrir.
Mais si tu travailles pour un organisme local ceux ci doivent être assurés.
Vous avez raison, pour assurer votre sante, vous aurez le choix entre une assurance voyage (l assistance rapatriement est compris) ou une assurance sante maladie ( le rapatriement peut etre en option).
L assurance voyage est limitee dans le temps, souvent 6 a 3 mois maximum.
Selon votre statut (salarie, employeur thai ou suisse), votre age, votre budget, plusieurs solutions possibles.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland?
