Ayant decouvert l'Inde il y a quelques annees et etant tombee amoureuse de ce pays et de sa culture, j ai decide d aller y vivre. Je voudrais d abord y trouver du travail... Pas facile depuis Paris!
Je suis scenariste et realisatrice et je parle anglais. L ideal serait de trouver un job a Bollywood. Production, mise en scene, assistanat... Malheureusement, je ne connais personne dans ce secteur d activite la-bas.
Parallelement, je cherche aussi sur Delhi dans la culture et communication.
Si vous avez des contacts, des conseils sur les demarches que je devrais faire, n hesitez pas! Je me sens un peu perdue dans mes recherches et ai besoin de soutien pour ce grand changement... Merci d avance.
Depuis 1999, un phénomène appelé "karanjoharisation" des films (du nom du réalisateur vedette Karan Johar) fait que beaucoup d'étrangers sont recrutés comme figurants ou danseurs. A tel point qu'au mois de septembre, le magazine Cine Blitz se fendait d'un article très remonté contre les étrangers (Européens et Brésiliens notamment) qui viennent en Inde pour étoffer leur CV et mangent le masala des danseurs indiens qui n'ont pas autre chose pour nourrir leur famille.
Je n'ai pas eu vent que les Indiens aient besoin d'étrangers pour le reste, mais je peux me tromper.
Pour débuter au bas de l'échelle, il faut se rendre à Bombay, aller à la Porte de l'Inde (Gateway of India, à Colaba), et s'armer de patience. C'est là que les sergents recruteurs de Bollywood viennent de temps à autre choisir les figurants étrangers. Si tu as la chance d'être choisie, tu commenceras avec un salaire de 500 à 1000 roupies par jour (8 à 20 euros selon les cours de la bourse) .
Sinon, tu n'as plus qu'à fréquenter les boites branchouilles mumbaikares où l'on croise des stars, comme l'Insomnia et l'Athena.
Si tu ouvres tes yeux d'enfant, le voyage commence au seuil de ta maison
c'est amusant les forums, je tombe par hasard sur toi, on était en cours ensemble. Bref, si c'est le cas et que tu veux toujours partir en inde, j'ai une bonne amie qui vit la-bas depuis 2 ans. Elle a bougé souvent mais je peux te mettre en contact avec elle. Je ne sais pas si cela t'aidera. Elle et son mari ne sont pas du tout dans le cinéma mais ils connaissent peut-être des gens. Je ne sais pas. Je te souhaite bon courage en tous cas.

Je travaille dans le cinéma comme scénariste et réalise aussi des reportages. Pour l'instant, je n 'ai pas encore de dates pour l'Inde... Peut-être devrais-tu aussi te renseigner sur les futurs tournages indiens et étrangers là-bas en novembre pour dèjà avoir une idée avant ton départ? Et les contacter en amont?
