Bien entendu, le site des Aff. étrangères (tant françaises que belges) est ultra-alarmiste (normal... en cas de pépin ils se mettent à l'abri de toute responsabilité).
Alors qu'en est-il vraiment ?? j'aimerai avoir quelques avis d'expat sur place afin que nous puissions prendre la "bonne décision"
@ noter que nous avons travaillé un an et demi au Gabon (c'est d'ailleurs ça qui nous pousse à postuler à nouveau en Afrique) donc on a quand même une petite idée de l'Afrique 🙂

Effectivement... c'est de là que viennent un peu nos interrogations : JT de France 2 via le Net, presse en ligne et réactions sur VF. Vivre dans un pays à risques n'est pas encore trop le problèmes (pour le moment ici la nouvelle mode des narcos est de couper la tête de leur rivaux ou des policiers fédéraux... et quand nous étions au Gabon j'en ai vu aussi des vertes et des pas mûres..), ce qui nous interpelle plus c'est que notre projet serait d'y rester au moins 3 ans et qu'on a pas trop envie après six mois d'être rapatrié....
J'attends donc de voir si qq expat de Guinée viennent zyeuter sur VF de temps à autres (quoique ça prese vu nous devrions avoir la réponse assez rapidement pour le poste...)

Je ne savais pas qu'il n'y pas de postes vacants pour le Sénégal. Pour la Guinée la paix s'instale ces temps ci mais il faut vous renseigner des zones à risques pour les éviter. Merci
je vis moi-même en Guinée ( avec un breack de qq mois, suite aux évênements des derniers mois, , il faut bien travailler ailleurs quand il n'y a plus de travail "chez soi" !) depuis plus de trois ans et même si la vie au quotidien n'y est pas forcément simple, le pays vaut la peine de passer par dessus ces petits inconvénients, mais vous le savez déjà !
En tout cas, n'hésitez pas, si vous avez besoin d'aide le moment venu !

vraiment c'est sympa la guinée est un pays tres agreable seulement la politique africaine que ont ne peus rein contre donc je pense que tu ne vas pas regreté.
je travaille en guinée depuis 8 mois, ok les grèves c(était chaud, ms là ca c'est calmé évidemment c'st pas définitif, ms bon..
sinon le pays est agréable les gens très accueillant, l'intérieur du pays es magnifique vraiment, bon a conakry il y a qqs pbs d'eau et électricité parfis, ms ça va!!!

Pour info : la situation là-bas est plutôt bonne (j'ai reçu un mail d'un pote qui est là-depuis 3 ans et qui à la fin de l'année scolaire est nommé à Sao Paulo au Brésil)

Je suis très régulièrement tous les forums sur la Guinée à la recherche d'infos, de témoignages, de photos et autres sur le Fouta. J'y ai moi même vécu entre 95 et 99. Depuis mon retour en France j'ai créé un site que j'essaye de faire vivre avec les infos des uns et des autres en attendant de pouvoir me rendre de nouveau sur place. Merci donc si vous avez une contribution à me faire parvenir sur cette région. Elle mérite vraiment d'être mieux connu. 😕 Nous sommes plusieurs (d'origine française ) a avoir accepté un poste au CSFG = centre scolaire franco guineen, qui est "sponsorisé" par la plus grande holding de la place " Futurelec"... pour la prochaine rentrée.
Aprés de nombreuses recherches, faute d'infos personnalisées, nous hésitons.... pas de contrats pour l'instant, la qualité des premiers contacts semblant se calmer, et la situation militaire sur place a suivre...
Là je ne peux que te conseiller la prudence...de notre côté, nous avons déjà reçu nos contrats, nos lettres d'invitation et que j'ai déjà pris contact avec l'Ambassade de Guinée à Ottawa (mais il est vrai que ce n'est pas du tout pour le même employeur 😉 )
Quant à la situation là-bas, je te conseille de zyeuter régullièrement sur le site allafrica : http://fr.allafrica.com/guinea/
Ceci dit... je ne sais pas si tu as déjà bossé en Afrique... sinon je te dirai que la patience est bien souvent nécessaire (ce qui après tout n'est pas mal non plus comparé au stress des européens hahahaha)
Par contre, je n'ai jamais entendu parler du CSFG... as tu pris contact avec l'Ambassade de France à Conakry pour avoir qq infos ? Parfois, des projets naissent et meurent aussi tôt... et il vaut mieux ouvrir l'oeil pour éviter de se faire avoir... 🙂

je viens pour la première fois à Conakry et j'appréhende un peu car j'arrive par un vol en pleine nuit : Peut on changer des euros la nuit à l'aéroport ? Combien va me demander le taxi pour me conduire à un hotel et quel hotel me conseiller vous ? Le 1er contact avec les guinéens : aimes-t-ils bien les français ? Comment trouver un logement rapidement à Conakry ?

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
