Après avor vécu 4 ans au Suriname, et être retourné depuis quelques années en Belgique d'où je viens, je serais heureux de m'installer en Guyane où j'ai eu l'occasion de me rendre à quelques reprises (surtout Awala Yalimapo et Cayenne).
Les avantages que présentent une petite bulle d'europe en Amérique du Sud par rapport aux nations indépendantes ne sont pas négligeable, croyez-moi. Toutefois, j'en connais les faîblesses également, rassurez-vous !

Par contre, j'ai une certaine expérience du coin, des gens, et je parle couramment l'anglais, le néerlandais (hollandais), le surinamien (bushi nenge), et bien sûr le français qui sont les grandes langues des 3 guyanes.
Du reste, je suis bien élevé, je met toujours ma main devant ma bouche quand je baille et je sais raisonnablement compter sur mes dix doigts. Avec pareil profil, pensez-vous que je puisse représenter le moindre intérêt pour un employeur en Guyane ? Allez-y, je ne serai pas vexé !
Mais que vais-je fouttre là-bas me direz-vous ? La vraie vie elle est par là-bas pour moi, je dis bien pour moi, et mon épouse.

je vais jouer les rabats-joie mais le taux de chômage est assez élevé dans les "DOM-TOM" français..bien plus qu'en "métropole".
je sais qu'il est possible de trouver des petits jobs sur Cayenne..
le mieux c'est de faire une recherche sur le site http://www.pole-emploi.fr/accueil/ ( ex ANPE )
et filtrer sur Guyane.
Comme tu le précises si bien les meilleurs emplois sont destinés aux "métros" expatriés.
Les emplois dans la fonction publique en Guyane je ne connais pas lechiffre précis mais c'est un chiffre très important , je crois quelque chose comme....40% de la population active 😉

rien ne t'empêche de tenter mais c'est certain que pour exercer comme juriste je suis un peu sceptique..
je pense qu'il y a plus d'opportunités dans tout ce qui est restauration, construction et bâtiment.
Une autre source c'est de regarder les informations de RFO Guyane pour se tenir au courant de la situation économique.
Mais je pense que si tu trouves un job à Cayenne c'est surtout par le bouche-à-oreille donc il faut connaître des gens localement..
ce qui n'est pas gagné parce que
- les créoles sont un peu hermétiques aux européens
- les commerçants chinois vivent dans une communauté fermée.
- reste les métros expatriés 😉
Une autre solution serait....de démarcher directement de France et cibler des entreprises qui sont implantées en Guyane française.
Par relation je connaissais un responsable d'une entreprise dans le centre de la France spécialisée dans l'exploitation du bois qui était implantée en Guyane ( parce que c'était mon rêve aussi d'aller m'installer en Guyane 😉 😉 )...
Ou alors demander conseil à la Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Cayenne...

Il y a un tout nouveau statut juridique et commercial qui a été crée en France c'est le statut d'auto-entrepreneur tu peux gagner de l'argent sans trop en déclarer aux impôts ( je crois que c'est 30000 euros par an ) , payer très peu de charges sociales..
par contre il doit y avoir des dispositions particulières pour les DOM-TOM mais la Guyane Française c'est un département français à part entière..

Je comprends parfaitement ce que tu veux dire par le bouche-à-oreille.
Il me semble en effet qu'en ne connaissant personne, c'est un peu râpé d'avance. Encore plus pour les métro non-métro !🙂 J'ai tout de même rencontré quelques hollandais et belges en Guyane qui avaient ouverts des snacks, restos etc.
Ton idée d'entreprise est donc vraiment très bonne, et c'est déjà encourageant de seulement te lire. Je devrais m'y intéresser un peu plus et prendre mes renseignements.
Dommage que ton rêve de Guyane ne se soit réalisé. Mais la vie réserve des surprises, parfois très bonnes. Je te le souhaîte ! Est-ce toujours un projet d'actualité ? Montréal, c'est un peu plus frais non ? 😉
