Un conseil: pas la peine de faire les recherches depuis la france, si vous n'avez pas de numero irlandais on ne vous contacteras pas et aussi pour faire les visites de logement, si vous etes en france pas top... vous pouvez quand meme consulter pour vous donner une idee des prix.. compter du 400euros moyenne pour de la colloc sur dublin.
Aussi, en arrivant, votre premier achat: un telephone portable avec numero irlandais. vodafone, o2, meteor, 3 ce que vous voulez...
Si vus ne connaissez pas la ville, munissez vous aussi d'une carte detaillee de la ville. pour dublin, vous trouverez facilement des petits livrets detailles par quartier, allez dans n'importe quel newsagent du centre ville, vous en trouverez. le miens dur toujours depuis 4ans:)
ensuite vous allez sur Daft, et vous repondez aux annonces recentes le plus rapidemnet possible, avec un texto type :) c'est ma methode pour avoir le maximum de feedbacks et optimiser les recherches...

j'ai regardé sur internet pr loc voitures, easy terra avait l'air pas mal (possibilité de louer la voiture à dublin et de la rendre à belfast, ce kil me faut), ms je ne trouv pas de num service client et c pas super rassurant car tu paies sur internet avant de savoir comme il faut ts les détails..🤪
Connais-tu le système easy terra? ou pense-tu à qqch de mieux? j'ai possibilité apparemment de louer ossi par last minute.com (où je prend mes billets d'avion) ms ça m'a l'air plus cher...

Juste un petit mot pour te rassurer sur la conduite à gauche que j'ai expérimentée 2 fois. Personnellement ce que j'ai trouvé le plus difficile ce sont les carrefours - difficile de savoir facilement où te placer mais bon le tout est d'aller doucement même si ça klakonne derrière toi !! sinon après sur les routes pas de soucis particulier ce qui est bien quand tu arrives à Dublin c'est que les 1ères minutes de conduite à gauche se font sur un périphérique à 2 voies et donc tu ne peux pas te tromper et cela permet de te familiariser avec la voiture !!
J'étais arrivée à dublin en tout début après midi mais j'avais fait escale à Kilkenny avant de prendre la direction de Cork - mais j'avais fait escale dans les wicklows !! - peut être que c'est faisable !! tu nous diras !!
Les routes sont assez bien mais il n'y a pas d'autoroute en irlande - mais un système pas mal qui consiste à un demi voie sur le bas coté cela permet aux camions ou autres de se garer sur le coté et de se laisser doubler facilement.

Easy Terra non je connais pas. tu peux essayer Budget rent-a-car, europcar, et puis forcement Hertz, qui a son centra d'appel europeen a... Dublin :) ds tous les cas tu peux en general laisser ta voiture dans une autre ville que celle ou tu l'as prise. Je passe souvent par budget, ils ont pas mal d'offre. il y a aussi Nova, Avis et plein d'autres agences de location classiques.
Pour la conduite a gauche, ben pour moi c'est ma reference maintenant, je suis un peu paumee des fois a droite, lol :) mais non, il n'y a pas de soucis. les pedales sont ds le meme ordre que la conduite a droite, juste le levier qui se trouve a gauche ms pareil dans le meme sens. fais gaffe aux rond points pour pas les prendre a l'envers et qd tu te redresses sur les carrefours, penses a bien te mettre a gauche. de toute maniere ds les voitures de loc, t'as tjs un autocollant sur le parbrise pur te rappeler de rouler a guache, lol😉
Pour la route vers cork, franchement, meme de nuit tu ne peux p

le trajet dublin cork sera le mercredi 😉.
Le trajet que j'attends avec impatience est Galway Newry (Irlande du Nd), ce sera le samedi et j'aurai tt mon tps... pr pouvoir enfin profiter du paysage, des gens, papoter (enfin comme je peux!) etc..
Conclusion: bien contente d'avoir l'occaz de découvrir ce magnifique pays (je ne suis jamais allée ni en irlande, ni écosse, ni angleterre)

Moi c'était les 2 fois une boite à vitesse !! ça fait super drôle de passer les vitesses de la main gauche surtout quand tu es droitière mais bon après on s'habitue vite ne t'inquiète pas !! mais heureusement que ce sont des voitures de location car au début il y a des petits ratés et la boite à vitesse craque un peu !!
avec le recul je pense qu'il est plus difficile de conduire à gauche avec une voiture de chez nous !! d'ailleurs je ne sais pas comment ils font pour doubler ??? non la voiture de location c'est la meilleure solution.
Moi je suis toujours allée en irlande pour les vacances donc j'ai pu me permettre de faire une escale à Kilkenny.
J'étais à Cork le 2ème soir - la ville est pas mal mais à l'époque - en 2003 - il y avait beaucoup de travaux comme à dublin d'ailleurs.
Pas de soucis pour sortir de l'aeroport le tout est de savoir quelle route prendre (M50, etc ... ) tu n'es pas obligée d'aller dans le centre de dublin et franchement c'est super car ca à l'air galère (je me suis toujours déplacée à dublin en bus) car beaucoup de rues ou quaies en sens unique et sens interdits
N'hésite pas à aller sur le site du tourisme irlandais - très bien fait - ou aller répèrer dans le guide du routard le tout est de connaitre avant de prendre la voiture la direction à suivre - franchement je n'ai pas trop galèrer mais on était 2 dans la voiture !! peut être que si tu es toute seule ça risque d'être plus sportif mais bon !!
A cork on était dans un B&B plutôt sympa sur les hauteurs - je crois avoir gardé l'adresse ou au moins la carte si cela t'intéresse n'hésite pas.

Malheureusement, ce n'est pas a moi de te fournir toute cette aide. Je donne des infos sur un pays que j'aime mais je ne suis en aucun cas un office de tourisme, ni un membre de l'ambassade, ni une charite. Vadrouilles sur internet, tu trouveras les infos necessaires a ton demenagement.
Mais si je puis te donner un conseil: ne prends pas le voyage comme une fuite de tes problemes. En irlande, je vois tellement d'etrangers qui ralent apres tout, les bus de merde, le temps de merde, les irlandais alcolos, la salete, etc... Pourquoi? parce que pour tous, ils sont venus ici pour trouver un job "le reve irlandais" apres le reve americain. Arrives ici sans rien connaitre du pays, a la finale, ils restent bien ingras envers un pays qui les accueille.
Enfin ca, ca ne reste que mon avis.
