Je suis une fille de 28 ans.
L'année prochaine j'envisage, probablement vers septembre, de passer une année en Corée du Sud avec le Visa vacance travail.
En faite j'aimerais bien rencontrer des gens qui ont le meme projet ou qui connaissent bien la Coree du Sud.
Ce projet m’intéresse vraiment en revanche je pense que ce sera plus pour dans 2 ans pour ma part. Je suis très attiré par la Corée également.
Je ne sais pas combien de français partent chaque année pour ce programme mais je ne pense pas que ce soit énorme.
J'ai aussi pour projet de faire un WHV en Corée du Sud à la fin de l'année prochaine. J'aimerais pouvoir partir vers novembre (à voir suivant mes dates de soutenances et autres joyeusetés de fin d'études...).
Pour l'instant rien de bien concret à part l'auto apprentissage du coréen, les contacts, et les économies...
Je suis aussi intéressée par ce projet dans les environs de septembre afin de tout mettre en place mais j'attends quelques témoignages pour me lancer :)

J'ai l'intention de travailler à Séoul car ma copine(Coréenne) y vit et donc l'avantage de me pas chercher un logement en arrivant.
En arrivant à Séoul, selon vous, quelles sont les premières démarches à faire pour le travail, dois-je faire un numéro d'assurance en arrivant ? de plus, avez vous souscrit à une spécial assurance avant de partir, car pour le visa on me demande de prouver que je serais assuré pour le temps demandé, si oui;, combien cela vous a coûté par mois ?
Au niveau de la langue, je vais faire de mon mieux pour l'apprendre au plus vite, je parle déjà Anglais mais je suis conscient qu'il faut parler Coréen si on veut plus de facilité à trouver un travail. Je n'ai pas précisé que je suis déjà passé en Corée deux fois pour un mois, donc je sais que ce pays me plaît .
Avez vous donc trouvé un travail sans trop de difficulté ? quel type de travail, comment et avez vous trouvez des moyens pour trouver plus facilement ?
Pour l'avion, un aller simple ou un aller retour ? j'hésite encore car je ne sais pas quand je vais rentrer exactement mais la solution de l'aller retour avec retour flexible me paraît juste pour parler économie .

Hâte d'avoir votre réponse, et votre ressentit sur votre voyage, je suis assez excité à l'idée de vivre là bas même si ce seras pas des plus facile..
Surtout si tu pars dans 2 semaines!
- Pour l'ambassade, j'ai posé mon dossier un lundi matin, j'ai reçu mon passeport par la Poste (comme je n'habite pas sur Paris) le jeudi matin (j'avais pris un envoi express) et je crois que ça avait été approuvé le mardi après midi.
- Assurance INDISPENSABLE pour l'ambassade... J'ai pris pour un an (environ 360€) Globe Partner, qui a un partenariat spécial avec le site pvtistes.net (10% de réduc pour les membres) où d'ailleurs tu trouveras pas mal de sujets sur le PVT en Corée et ailleurs ;)
- Première chose à faire en arrivant : ta carte de séjour (Alien Registration Card) dans le bureau de l'immigration dont dépend ton quartier. Mieux vaut y aller le matin car il y a toujours du monde... Ton ARC sera indispensable pour acheter un carte sim et ouvrir une ligne de téléphone, un compte en banque, etc... Donc mon conseil c'est de la faire au plus vite (dispo sous 3 semaines il me semble) comme ça t'es débarrassé!
- Pour le coréen : cours gratuits aux Seoul Global Center (2* 1h30 par semaine, c'est pas de l'intensif mais c'est suffisant pour dépanner si tu veux pas payer des cours à l'université)
- Pour le billet d'avion, je peux pas te conseiller... Moi j'ai pris un AR modifiable et j'ai pu changer sans problème... A voir selon ton projet! T'as pas encore pris ton billet du coup?
- Pour le travail, j'ai de l'expérience dans l'enseignement donc je faisais du tutorat de français, puisque selon le site de l'ambassade de Corée en France c'est autorisé, sauf que selon l'immigration coréenne, aucune forme d'enseignement n'est autorisée pour les personnes sans visa de type E! Bref, grosse incompréhension et normalement ils ont du contacter l'ambassade pour qu'elle enlève ça de leur site et brochures... Du coup j'ai tout arrêté et là je suis en vacances jusqu'à mon retour!
En tout cas si tu vas dans des endroits comme Haebangchon, Itaewon... Il y a pas mal de restos/pubs étrangers qui cherchent des serveurs ou plongeurs qui parlent anglais! A voir sur craigslist!
Ca dépend aussi de ton domaine d'études et de tes expériences pros... Mais quand même sans parler un minimum coréen, c'est très limité au domaine de la restauration (de ce que j'ai pu en voir).
Perso la Corée pour des vacances c'est très sympa, surtout Séoul, très pratique, pour un an en WHV aussi, mais je ne me vois absolument pas y vivre... Société, éducation, et j'en passe... C'est pas du tout en accord avec mes principes!
Mais je suis vraiment super contente de mon année sabbatique ici, une expérience très enrichissante! :)

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
