Bonjour c'est un groupe d'hôpitaux qui ont pas mal de contrats avec les assurances c'est des hôpitaux plus destinée aux thaïs donc au prix thaï
personnellement j'ai accompagner plusieurs fois une membre de ma famille .. avec satisfaction celui sur rama 4 cote thonburi
pour la comparaison avec Bumrungrad l'un surf sur les expats et touristes
donc plus cher........... les autres sont pour les thais ..........
petite anecdote au Bumrungrad j'ai un ami expat qui toussait pas mal fatigue etc il va a Bumrungrad on lui fait des tests ........ et on lui explique que il est possible que il est entrain de développer un cancer .......
déprimer il prend le premier avion rentre en France fait des analyses pousse
et on lui dit qu' il a attraper une grippe exotique ...........
je dois pressier ce n'est que un exemple et je crois que Bumrungrad
c'est un excellent hôpital , avantage est leur traducteurs ..........

Bon, j'ai pris un rdv chez eux pour mon cas personnel car j'ai été etonné de la qualité d'information. Pour info, je l'ai connu via une agence qui a des accords avec cet hôpital, qu'on trouve sur le net. Je sais que cette agence va se rémunérer sur les soins, je ne suis pas idiot et c'est normal, il faut bien qu'elle se paye.
Pour info, je dois faire une intervention laser, ils m'ont donné toute une liste de recommendation, de contre indication, de risques, de conseils ect qu'aucun hôpitaux ne m'a donné ni en France ni en Thaïlande. Des conseils aussi que j'ai bien sur fait vérifié, car c'est ma santé qui est en jeu, et qui se sont avéré pertinent.
Ce qui m'a fait douté car j'étais partis pour aller au Bumrungrad comme tous le monde.
Je précise aussi que j'ai eu le CV complet du médecin et que je l'ai fait vérifier en contactant les universités et qu'elles m'ont répondu que tout était ok.
Ce qui me fait hésiter.
Un rdv, c'est 20 euros, donc je ne suis pas à ça prêt. Mais la qualité de service et d'information m'a étonné.
Ce qui fait que j'hésite.
Et le tarif : 25000 baht. Même si je ne regarderais pas le prix pour retrouver la santé. Je me doute que j'aurais des dépassements, ils sont malins pour ça là-bas mais au Bumrungrad, j'en aurais eu aussi.
Dans ce tarif, même la prise en charge du taxi est incluse ( aéroport-hôtel / hôtel-hôpital / hôtel- aéroport ) Seule les complications éventuelles ne sont pas incluses.
J'ai des rendez-vous dans les deux hôpitaux, donc à suivre.

me battre non ........... je n'ai pas l'intention d'aller a l'hôpital pour simplement mettre au clair les choses ..................

Je ne viens pas tous les jours sur ce fofo. Néanmoins, je viens le lire régulièrement et si certaines personnes ont des expériences à me faire part concernant cet hôpital. Je ferais un feedback après mon rdv dans cet hosto. Je pars plutôt pour me faire soigner au Bumrungrad mais bon, pour 20 euros la consultation, soit même pas le prix de 3 Paquets de Marlboro light, je n'ai rien à perdre et autant aller voir ce que vaut cet hosto.
Finalement je ne suis pas allé dans cet hôpital. J'ai préféré aller dans un hôpital plus réputé. Cela ne veut pas dire qu'il n'est pas bon mais j'ai préféré joué la sécurité.
Il y a énormément d'hopitaux en Thaïlande. J'avais vu un reportage sur les ambulances qui se battaient pour avoir des patients lors des accidents de la route. Étonnant.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
