Ayant utilisé ce forum pour organiser mes voyages au Vietnam et ayant eu de très bons retours je renouvelle l’expérience pour la Thaïlande cette fois ci.
Je prévois un séjour de 3 semaines environ 20 jours voyages inclus en avril 2020.
Nous serons 4 adultes de 38, à 70 ans et 1 enfant de 9 ans .
Voici dans les grandes lignes ce que nous souhaitons découvrir :
Bangkok : lieu d’arrivée ( si vous avez des hôtels sympa à un prix raisonnable je suis preneuse )
Kanchanaburi et sa région dont le pont de la rivière kwai et les chutes d’erawan.
Changmaï et un centre de sauvegarde des éléphants
Et après les îles là où se situe mon plus grand dilemme, mer d’Andaman ou golf de Thaïlande
À vrai dire j’aimerai les 2 et en particulier , koh Lanta, koh Ngai, et koh tao.
Et aussi peut être une mini croisière pour faire quelques autres îles mais pas forcément loger dessus .
Concernant les îles mon but premier n’est pas les fonds marins mais le repos et la baignade dans des eaux cristallines à l’écart Du tourisme de masse et des fêtards.
Voilà pouvez vous m’aiguiller De sorte que j’optimise Les déplacements intérieurs . Dans quel sens dois je programmer ce circuit pour perdre le moins de temps dans les transports ?
Je suis preneuse de toutes vos idées , conseils et bonnes adresses ....

Nous partons 3 semaines en Thaïlande au mois de janvier. J’ai besoin de réponses à quelques-unes de nos interrogations.
Voici le programme désiré :
Nous souhaitons commencer notre circuit directement depuis Chiang mai et descendre à notre rythme jusqu’à Bangkok. ( 8 à 10 jours )
De Bangkok, train jusqu’à Surat tani et bateau pour Koh Samui. (3 à 5 jours)
De Koh Samui bateau pour Koh Tao ( 4-5 jours)
Départ de Koh Tao pour Chumphon. De Chumphon on reprendra le train pour remonter à Bangkok et rentrer à Paris.
Comme vous pouvez le comprendre, on n’a pas vraiment envie de fixer des dates précises et on a vraiment envie de vivre notre parcours au jour le jour. On a visité Bangkok à deux reprises par le passé, donc juste une nuit en fin de parcours nous suffira. C’est pourquoi on voulait atterrir à Chiang mai et commencer depuis le nord. On voit tout le monde faire l’inverse. C’est peut-être con comme question mais est-ce que ça pose un problème de faire du nord à Bangkok plutôt que de Bangkok au nord ( moins de transport dans ce sens peut-être ???). Vos avis et expérience nous intéresse.
Et enfin, pensez vous que cela soit risqué de ne prévoir aucune nuit avant de partir ? on n’a pas envie de se bloquer à cause des dates réservés dans tel ou tel endroit… on ne veut pas du 4 étoiles, juste un endroit sympa et propre pour passer une bonne nuit. Est-ce que ça se trouve facilement à cette période de l’année ? On pensait aussi à réserver la veille pour le lendemain en fonction de notre avancé. Pareil, vos conseils nous intéresse.

et pour terminer le périple nous voulons trouver un petit coin de paradis au bord de mer/océan pour voir de beaux paysages, se détendre, nager et plonger avec masque et tuba. Le problème c'est que je trouve de tout comme avis, du bon , du mauvais, une info et son contraire et je ne sais plus quoi penser. je lis dans plusieurs posts que les îles de thailande qui étaient paradisiaques ne le sont plus, que ce sont des poubelles, qu'elles sont détruites par le tourisme de masse, que les coraux sont morts, que les poissons ne sont plus là, que l'on ne peut être que déçus...
Alors si vous avez fait un voyage en thailande récemment, dites-moi si c'est vrai, s'il vous plait. ou bien donnez-moi une lueur d'espoir en me donnant une adresse, un lieu encore préservé où il reste quelques poissons colorés et exotiques à voir. Est-ce que les requins et les tortues dont tout le monde parle sont là ou pas? si oui où sont-ils? Ou bien est-ce du bluff purement commercial?

I’ve been in Nan since yesterday and... I love it! So thanks, Thierry. It’s exactly the kind of place I’d been dreaming of... Even if communication is a bit tough, it’s not impossible. They don’t even know the most basic English words! Everyone laughs and they’re the first to pull out their phones to... translate. They’re even quicker on the uptake than I am.
And then there’s the time I say Nan (pronounced "Nane"). They don’t understand me. After a while (sometimes a long one), they reply: "Ah, Nan?" (pronounced "Nane") 😵🤳😃
The town is exactly how you described it back in 2022. Though I’m surprised to find so many trendy, slightly intellectual "Cafés." Apparently, coffee—excellent everywhere—is king in Nan. It feels like a university town. And it seems pretty lively at night! But for now, I’m going to bed early. I caught a nasty cold, which didn’t stop me from walking 12 km this morning. But I came back to my accommodation by 3 PM (gorgeous and luxurious with top-notch service for 800 baht—even a cute local welcome gift this morning, plus other unexpected touches like a bottle of honey and chrysanthemum flowers for tea. The lady must’ve guessed I was coming down with something yesterday). I thought about going out for dinner but didn’t have the energy. I think I’ve got at least 39°C fever...
Anyway, I’m sending you this message, Thierry, because you mentioned a daily bus to Chiang Rai, so I didn’t look into it. But now it’s a real problem—no buses to Chiang Rai, only taxis. At least 2,500 baht for the cheapest one! I’ll check the bus station directly tomorrow. Online, it’s all taxis, no buses. I’d like to explore the countryside/mountains if I can find an affordable driver. Any ideas for destinations or itineraries? Thanks.

Si vous avez des conseils à nous apporter pour notre voyage en Thaïlande ce serait super sympa. Nous projetons d'y passer deux semaines et de préférence loin de la foule, si possible en tout cas.
Quel itinéraire nous conseillez vous ? on aimerait terminer notre séjour par quelques jours sur une île afin de se poser avant de regagner la France.
Donc on est preneur de vos expériences, vos coups de coeurs, vos bonnes adresses d'hébergement.
Et si je peux aider ceux qui partent au Vietnam ce sera avec grand plaisir.

I really loved Thailand, but it was too touristy for my taste. So I'm hesitating about going back and wondering if Cambodia or Vietnam would be less crowded with tourists...

I’m planning a family trip to Thailand in July for 6 people: - 4 adults, 1 child aged 14, and 1 aged 9. We’ve started looking into travel agencies that specialize in the country and offer custom trips.
Our initial idea was a budget of 2500 € per person for a stay of around 14 days, including:
- 3/4 days in Bangkok (visiting temples, floating markets, Chinatown, river cruise, etc.) - Kanchanaburi - Ayutthaya - 3/4 days in Chiang Mai (elephant sanctuary, rice field visits, temples, etc.) - Then a domestic flight to finish the trip in Krabi for 3/4 days (free time + excursions to Koh Phi Phi and/or Phang Nga, for example).
I’d also have liked to visit Chiang Rai, Lopburi, and Sukhothai, but we’ll have to make some choices.
So, my question is: - Is it better to go through well-known agencies to plan our trip, or is it possible to use local agencies for visits with French-speaking guides (if needed) and book flights and hotels on our own?
Does a budget of 2500 € per person seem reasonable for this kind of classic itinerary?
I’ve received (or will receive) quotes from agencies like Evaneos, Tourlane, Havas, Sawa Discovery, Nomade Aventures, etc. They all seem very professional but offer rather high-end services.
If any of you have recommendations for local agencies, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Also, is it possible to organize this kind of trip to Thailand on your own?
I know I’m not being very original, but I really want to make this a fantastic vacation with the best tips possible to avoid cutting the trip short to fit my budget.

Avant de rejoindre le sud de la Thaïlande j'aimerais organiser un petit circuit de 10 jours dans le nord et découvrir Chiang rai Chiang Mai et Sukothai.
Combien de jours pour chaque site? Faut-il privilégier chiang rai qui est moins touristique? j'ai lu quil y avait foule à Chiang mai
Nous aimerions découvrir la nature environnante: auriez vous une agence locale fiable à me conseiller?
avez vous des adresses de guest house pas trop chères ds ces 3 villes ou autres "bon plans"?
Nous y serions fin mars début avril 2020.

Bonsoir nous partons samedi pour la Thaïlande avec un paris phuket via abu dhabi par ethiad airways notre vol est confirmé pour l"instant.un peu stressé quand même. Pour l'instant le pays acceptent les touristes français nous restons 3semaines phuket kho phi phi khao lak.on a prevu les masques et les gels hydroalcoliques.on verra bien.annulez on perdait tout vu que la compagnie maintient le vol.les hotels non remboursables en plus.enfin mes valises sont prêtes.go😉

I’m a die-hard fan of India, but it’s time I discovered Thailand too to broaden my Asian horizons.
I’m heading there on January 19, 2025, for a 46-day trip (no visa needed as I’m French). I’ve pored over a few guidebooks and travel blogs. Based on what caught my interest, I’ve put together a rough itinerary and list of sights. But since I know absolutely nothing about Thailand, I’m kind of flying blind here.
Since I’m not exactly a spring chicken anymore, I’ve opted for a few bases where I’ll stay several days in the same place. That way, I won’t have to change locations and hotels every day or so, packing and unpacking my suitcase constantly. Instead, I plan to explore the surrounding area each day, within a maximum radius of 50 to 70 km.
So, first question: Is that kind of round-trip distance manageable in a day in Thailand?
In India, renting a car for a day—with a driver—currently costs around 35 to 40 € per day. Knowing that 1,300 to 1,500 THB would be my absolute max, and even then, only if I don’t rent a car every single day.
Which brings me to my second question: Am I being unrealistic?
Otherwise—third question—once I’m settled in the city I’ve chosen as my base, can I get around within that 50–70 km radius using public transport?
I’ve already booked all my hotels—with free cancellation—on booking.com at an average price of 950/1,000 THB per night. Does that put me in a good range for value for money? Or am I dreaming?
Here’s my plan:

Suite à un premier message posté en décembre et vos précieux avis et conseils (notamment Jungletroll ! merci), j'ai revu notre itinéraire pour le simplifier un peu car premier voyage en Asie...
Je pense également laisser tomber l'idée de louer une voiture de location 🤪 mais plutôt voyager avec un chauffeur privé (sauf Koh Phanga) pour plus de confort et sécurité .... Donc la question est comment organiser cela ? Par une agence ? Connaissez vous Evaneos que je viens de découvrir et qui semble organiser tout sur mesure avec des agents sur place... Je ne me sens pas vraiment capable de tout organiser par moi même et je n'aime pas partir à l'aventure...
Alors voici le nouvel itinéraire prévu sur janvier / février 2021 (avec des dates à la limite "décalable" d'une semaine plus tôt) - Samedi 16/01 : Vol Lyon Dubai (Emirates) - Dimanche 17 et lundi 18/01 : escale Dubai puis vol le 18/01 au soir - Mardi 19/01 : Arrivée aéroport Bangkok le matin - Transfert à Kanchanaburi. au passage : Wat Tham Suea. Fin de journée découverte de la ville et repos - Mercredi 20/01 : Départ pour Sai Yok, arrêt au viaduc de Wang Pho, grotte de Krasae (?) et si possible installation au Krit House au pied de Sai Yok Hai et Lek Waterfal. Fin de journée sur place Jeudi 21/01 : matin Hin Bad Hot Spring ? et route vers Erawan OU monter jusqu'à Sangkhla Buri puis retour à Erawan (mais beaucoup de route il me semble) Vendredi 22/01 : Visite des cascades Erawan le matin et route vers Amphawa pour 2 nuits (si possible installation au bord du Mae Klong pas trop loin du marché flottant. Samedi 23/01 : marché sur les rails de Mae Klong le matin et après-midi, et soirée sur Amphawa Dimanche 24/01 : Départ en direction de Prachuap KK. 3 jours pour visiter cette partie : l'objectif est de prendre un bateau de Chumpon à Koh Phanga le mercredi 27/01 (possiblité via Lomprayah d'un catamaran de Tung Makham à Koh Phanga pour 30 €/pers environ) Sur cette côte, nous voudrions visiter : Sam Roi Yot ( Bang Pu, Grotte de Phraya Nakhon...) , Prachuap KK (Khan Kra Dai Cave, Ao Manao Bay Beach et les singes langurs), Bang Saphan : Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdee Prakat...
Arrivée mercredi 27/01 à Koh Phanga pour 4 nuits / pas encore regardé ce que nous pouvons organiser sur l'île mais un peu de farniente... jeudi 28 - vendredi 29 et samedi 30/01 : Koh Phangan...Bon je viens de voir qu'il y a une full moon party le 28/01/21 alors que c'est pas du tout ce qui nous intéresse mais je suppose que c'est pas trop génant pour une soirée...
Dimanche 31/01 - Transfert sur Surat Thani et Phang Nga / nuit directement sur ce secteur pour faire une excursion privée dans la baie le lendemain assez tôt pour éviter la foule ! Donc lundi 01/02 : baie de Phang na et installation en fin de journée sur Krabi / Ao Nang ou ailleurs... Installation pour 5 nuits : du mardi au vendredi, visite du secteur Samedi 06/02 : Transfert pour l'aeroport de Phuket et vol retour
Voilà, voilà, en gros avec certains endroits plus détaillés que d'autres en fonction de mes recherches.... La question se pose sur la fin du séjour, après Koh Phangan : chauffeur ou location de voiture car moins de route donc peut-être faisable... D'autre part, comment ça se passe avec un chauffeur privé ? Est-il en mesure de nous emmener voir des endroits auxquels nous n'avons pas forcément connaissance ? Sans être vraiment un guide, va-t-il quand même être en mesure de nous donner quelques infos essentiels ? Nous n'avons pas du tout l'habitude de ce mode de déplacement et avons peu de connaissance sur la culture et les habitudes de la Thailande (mis à part les mises en garde sur la façon de conduire, lol !)

Suite à un premier message posté en décembre et vos précieux avis et conseils (notamment Jungletroll ! merci), j'ai revu notre itinéraire pour le simplifier un peu car premier voyage en Asie...
Je pense également laisser tomber l'idée de louer une voiture de location 🤪 mais plutôt voyager avec un chauffeur privé (sauf Koh Phanga) pour plus de confort et sécurité .... Donc la question est comment organiser cela ? Par une agence ? Connaissez vous Evaneos que je viens de découvrir et qui semble organiser tout sur mesure avec des agents sur place... Je ne me sens pas vraiment capable de tout organiser par moi même et je n'aime pas partir à l'aventure...
Alors voici le nouvel itinéraire prévu sur janvier / février 2021 (avec des dates à la limite "décalable" d'une semaine plus tôt) - Samedi 16/01 : Vol Lyon Dubai (Emirates) - Dimanche 17 et lundi 18/01 : escale Dubai puis vol le 18/01 au soir - Mardi 19/01 : Arrivée aéroport Bangkok le matin - Transfert à Kanchanaburi. au passage : Wat Tham Suea. Fin de journée découverte de la ville et repos - Mercredi 20/01 : Départ pour Sai Yok, arrêt au viaduc de Wang Pho, grotte de Krasae (?) et si possible installation au Krit House au pied de Sai Yok Hai et Lek Waterfal. Fin de journée sur place Jeudi 21/01 : matin Hin Bad Hot Spring ? et route vers Erawan OU monter jusqu'à Sangkhla Buri puis retour à Erawan (mais beaucoup de route il me semble) Vendredi 22/01 : Visite des cascades Erawan le matin et route vers Amphawa pour 2 nuits (si possible installation au bord du Mae Klong pas trop loin du marché flottant. Samedi 23/01 : marché sur les rails de Mae Klong le matin et après-midi, et soirée sur Amphawa Dimanche 24/01 : Départ en direction de Prachuap KK. 3 jours pour visiter cette partie : l'objectif est de prendre un bateau de Chumpon à Koh Phanga le mercredi 27/01 (possiblité via Lomprayah d'un catamaran de Tung Makham à Koh Phanga pour 30 €/pers environ) Sur cette côte, nous voudrions visiter : Sam Roi Yot ( Bang Pu, Grotte de Phraya Nakhon...) , Prachuap KK (Khan Kra Dai Cave, Ao Manao Bay Beach et les singes langurs), Bang Saphan : Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdee Prakat...
Arrivée mercredi 27/01 à Koh Phanga pour 4 nuits / pas encore regardé ce que nous pouvons organiser sur l'île mais un peu de farniente... jeudi 28 - vendredi 29 et samedi 30/01 : Koh Phangan...Bon je viens de voir qu'il y a une full moon party le 28/01/21 alors que c'est pas du tout ce qui nous intéresse mais je suppose que c'est pas trop génant pour une soirée...
Dimanche 31/01 - Transfert sur Surat Thani et Phang Nga / nuit directement sur ce secteur pour faire une excursion privée dans la baie le lendemain assez tôt pour éviter la foule ! Donc lundi 01/02 : baie de Phang na et installation en fin de journée sur Krabi / Ao Nang ou ailleurs... Installation pour 5 nuits : du mardi au vendredi, visite du secteur Samedi 06/02 : Transfert pour l'aeroport de Phuket et vol retour
Voilà, voilà, en gros avec certains endroits plus détaillés que d'autres en fonction de mes recherches.... La question se pose sur la fin du séjour, après Koh Phangan : chauffeur ou location de voiture car moins de route donc peut-être faisable... D'autre part, comment ça se passe avec un chauffeur privé ? Est-il en mesure de nous emmener voir des endroits auxquels nous n'avons pas forcément connaissance ? Sans être vraiment un guide, va-t-il quand même être en mesure de nous donner quelques infos essentiels ? Nous n'avons pas du tout l'habitude de ce mode de déplacement et avons peu de connaissance sur la culture et les habitudes de la Thailande (mis à part les mises en garde sur la façon de conduire, lol !)

I’m starting to plan my next trip to Southeast Asia this winter (2.5 months, leaving in early December), and here’s a rough outline of my route—I’d love to share it with you and hear your thoughts and tips.
- I’ll start in Bangkok and already have three spots I’ve marked: Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, and Uthai Thani (I haven’t been to any of these places yet). - Next, I’d like to cross the country from west to east to reach the Laos border. I’d love suggestions for any interesting stops along this route—I don’t know this part of Thailand at all... - Then I’ll head into Laos, probably at Savannakhet (you can usually get a visa at the border). - > I’m tempted to spend a week in Hoi An, Vietnam, since I loved that city and the area when I visited two years ago. No visa needed for Vietnam now, so it could be a nice little detour. On the map, it doesn’t look too far, but I know you’ve got to be careful with these things, and I’m not sure if it’s a good idea. Any opinions on this? - Back to Laos (maybe via Dakta), and I’ll head south along the Mekong, probably doing the Bolaven Plateau loop that I missed last time. Then Paksé, the 4,000 Islands... I’ve been before, but I’d happily go back. - Crossing into Cambodia, I’ll follow the Mekong down to Phnom Penh (I know this area and love how untouristy it is). From there, I’ll probably spend a few days in Kep (quieter than Kampot). Still undecided, though. - Then back to Thailand (BKK), likely by plane from Phnom Penh since the borders between the two countries are currently closed (plus, let’s be honest, Cambodian roads... ;-). We’ll see how things look when the time comes. - After that, I’d like to explore southern Thailand, taking it slow with short hops. I’ve got my eye on Khao Sok National Park, and I’ve heard good things about Krabi... Again, I don’t know this region well, so any info or tips would be great.
So, I think this should be doable in 2.5 months, especially since I prefer short hops of 300 km max to avoid getting too tired, and I like staying 2-3 days in each place to explore. Plus, I’ll take a week off to relax if I find a spot I love—maybe by the sea for some real downtime.

I'm "finalizing" a trip with my adventurous family (wife + 3 kids aged 16, 14, and 8) for this Easter break in Thailand (we'll be there from 04/19 to 05/01).
I'm going through the site and wanted to thank you all for the tips and insights you share on the forum. They're really valuable. But boy, it's tough to sketch out an itinerary
Of course, my backpacking route might be debatable, but I'm trying to target this path to get a first taste of the country's different "facets" and keep everyone in the family happy 😛
For this first trip, we're sticking to the classics and planning to explore a different side of the Land of Smiles in the future:
- arrival in BKK at 4 PM on 04/19 ==> leaving the same day at 7 PM for Chiang Mai (I "hesitated" with the 5:30 PM flight but was worried we wouldn't have enough time to switch from British AW to Thai Airways + airport fees + baggage + customs, etc. )
- from 04/20 to 04/23 ==> Chiang Mai with the main highlights (we've picked: Doi Suthep, Wat Pha Lat, elephant sanctuary, Doi Inthanon, the old city, Wat Chedi, Wat Phra Singh).
==> For the elephant sanctuary: any recommendations? Morning or afternoon visit?
==> It might seem ambitious, but we're considering a day trip to Chiang Rai—though it's not a must. Yes, we know it means ~6 hours of travel in one day.
- direct flight on the morning of 04/24 to Krabi ==> Railay - Phang Nga ==> this part isn't finalized yet (we won't stay in Krabi).
For those who've been there, which part of the south would be best weather-wise during this period?
We'd stay in the south until 04/28 and take a 8 PM flight to BKK.
- BKK on 04/29, 04/30, and part of 05/01 before our flight to London at 11 PM.
We'll hit the must-see/classic spots there.
If you have time to share some insights, I'd really appreciate it.

Why sell all this stuff if we can’t bring it back without risks??

After a lot of searching, exchanging ideas, and thinking it over, I’ve decided to go back to my original plan of spending two weeks in Bangkok. From January 19th to February 2nd. I’ll also take a quick trip for one night/two days to Ayutthaya (and return to Bangkok, where I’ll have kept the apartment I booked), and possibly the same for Kanchanaburi, depending on how I feel once I’m there—whether I find something more interesting in Bangkok or nearby.
The key word is: taking my time to take photos, observe, taste, savor (in every sense of the word), and most importantly, not rushing.
Beyond the must-see tourist spots, I’d love to wander around the city and maybe within a 40 to 50 km radius for a day trip to discover unusual and lesser-known streets, houses, temples, markets, gardens, and more.
I’ll also be spending two weeks in Chiang Mai and two weeks in Nan.
I’m open to any suggestions. Thank you so much!

Je pars seule (pour des raisons logistique et financière mon mari ne me suit pas) pendant 15 jours du 3 au 17 décembre avec Leclerc voyage pour TUI , le circuit Sourire Thaï avec extension à Jomtien, Y a t il des personnes parmis ce forum qui ferait ce même circuit au même date ?
J'ai un peu peur d'être seule mais je souhaite vraiment faire ce voyage, besoin phsyique et psychique !!
Tout est organisé, avion, hôtel sauf 4 repas je crois et les repas de midi pendant l'extension à Jomtien mais je ne me fais pas de soucis sur le fait que je puisse me nourrir, sauf une question, faut il vraiment se méfier des repas dans la rue ? (je me suis fais vacciné contre l'hépatite A au cas où), ayant une sclérose en plaque je ne veux prendre aucun risque enfin même si je n'avais pas de SEP en fait !! Puis je boire un de leur jus de fruit frais sans risque ?

- si je prend environ 600 ou 700 euros d'argent de poche ça vous parrait correcte ou trop ? je compte me faire plaisir avec du shopping (dans la limite de ma valise) plus des souvenirs pour ma famille ( 4 freres et soeurs, autant de beau frere et belle soeur et surtout 11 neveu et nièce) sans compter mon mari et mon fils, bref tout eune tribu
- Je dois faire un peu de change avant de partir ou vaut mieux à Bangkok ?

Je voudrais réserver pour ce circuit en janvier 2020, es que que quelqu'un la déjà fait, es que je pourrais avoir vos impressions sur hôtel, visite...... J'ai fait un devis pour 13 nuits /10 jours pensions complète pendant le circuit et pdj à Pucket: 1570€ cela vous semble correct?

Je voudrais réserver pour ce circuit en janvier 2020, es que que quelqu'un la déjà fait, es que je pourrais avoir vos impressions sur hôtel, visite...... J'ai fait un devis pour 13 nuits /10 jours pensions complète pendant le circuit et pdj à Pucket: 1570€ cela vous semble correct?

Not long ago, I used to travel as a couple, but my husband has since passed away, and I’ve decided to set off again. The trip I took to Cambodia in January 2025 did me a world of good.
I’m now considering Thailand, a destination we never included in our plans because even 15 years ago, people said it was too touristy. Still, I’m thinking about the itinerary below, but I don’t feel up to arranging buses, trains, or guides on my own while I’m there. I’m looking for one or more drivers and have been in touch with an agency, but their offers are just copy-paste group tours that I don’t want.
So, if you have any contacts, experiences, or advice, I’d be so grateful if you’d share them with me. Here’s my rough plan:
Arrival in Bangkok
Ayutthaya (2 nights)
Kanchanaburi (2 or 3 nights)
Sangkhlaburi/Sai Yok (3 nights)
Sukhothai (2 nights)
Lampang (I’ve planned 3 nights, but that might be a bit much—it depends on what time I arrive in the city)
Chiang Mai
Chiang Dao
Pai
Chiang Rai
I was thinking about the Mae Hong Son loop—thoughts?
What do you think about staying overnight at the Golden Triangle?
When I look online, of course, I can find agencies that organize tours to national parks, etc.
I’m retired but in great physical shape. I’d rather go hiking than sit in hot springs with crowds of tourists who’ve all arranged meet-ups. I don’t want to spend a day at an elephant camp, and I don’t want to visit Karen villages.
I’d love to hear your advice.

je sais que l'issan est assez grand est je ne parle pas de la faire en 16 jours. apres avoir parcouru le forum, parcour en issan... je retiens ce circuit
circuit pouvez vous me dire ce que vous en pensez , le modifier, ajouter des etapes....?

je vais en Thaïlande prochainement avec différente villes comme Bangkok, Chiang Raï, Chaing Maï, Ayutthaya, Jomtien et je dois ramener pour mon fils des figurines POP manga.

Je pars pour la Thaïlande avec mon conjoint et notre fille de 3 ans pour 15 jours.
Nous projetons le circuit suivant :
1 jour à Bangkok 10 jours sur les îles en Mer d’Adaman La question est quelles îles ?? 2 jours Bangkok
Nous avons remarqué Koh Jum, Koh Lipe, koh kood,
Ces îles ne sont pas proches, dans un idéal nous aimerions faire 2 ou 3 îles sur ces 10 jours et éviter les îles où il y a trop de tourisme festif
On ne sait plus où donner de la tête !

je dois écourter en 1 seule journée le circuit de transfert entre le nord du pays et le ferry Dernier départ 14 h je crois
Je ne vois pas de vols directs entre Chiang Mai ou Rai et Trat , ni même en transitant par Bangkok
Auriez vous des suggestions qui pourraient m.aider
Voire même des renseignements pour envisager un taxi mais je n.ai aucune idée de la distance ni du prix
