Bonjour à tous! Toujours pas de retours de la croisière Astoria Rivages du Monde Groenland Islande Irlande sur les 2 forums, donc je me lance Ce qui va suivre est mon ressenti et n’engage que moi. Après une croisière fluviale en Russie très réussie en juin dernier (sommes partis aussi sur le St Laurent, un bon souvenir) Rivages du Monde nous a proposé une offre tarifaire intéressante pour cette croisière, le Groenland faisant parti de nos projets futurs, Banco malgré les posts très négatifs sur VF puisque nous étions satisfaits de nos croisières fluviales avec le même opérateur. Et puis nous avions envie de tenter ce petit bateau ancien, après une dizaine de Costa et MSC Nous sommes revenus de cette croisière satisfaits avec un bilan positif malgré quelques «couacs » Attention ce n’était pas une croisière Premium ni une croisière d’exploration, rien à voir avec la compagnie Ponant, d’ailleurs nous avons rencontré des passagers qui avaient navigué avec les compagnies premium et bien sûr ils étaient déçus des prestations. I finally chose NCL’s Star for Iceland. I had already looked at this itinerary when I went to Scotland in April with CFC, but it was really expensive. You should know that CFC often offers last-minute deals 45 days before departure (the point when you can no longer cancel or modify). So, I got a great opportunity and grabbed it. Departure is on August 23rd.

I’ve wanted to take this Norway cruise for a very long time. The first time I booked it was in July 2020 with Azamara. Unfortunately, it was canceled, as everyone remembers. When I tried to book it again, the prices (already a bit high with Azamara) had simply doubled. So, since then, I’ve been keeping an eye out every year for any opportunities...

The last time we sailed with Princess was eleven years ago, and things didn’t go very well. I came back pretty unhappy with their service and quite disappointed. Despite the $600 they gave me as credit for a future cruise, I’d never set foot on one of their ships again.

But this time, the opportunity arose—a fantastic itinerary with lots of stops, a reasonable price for 16 nights (I’ll share the details in the conclusion), and a ship that’s not too big, so to speak, with only 3,000 passengers. I’m not expecting much from the cruise line this time and am boarding the ship with low expectations beyond the itinerary.

Princess has introduced an app to download before the cruise. It’s essential because online check-in is no longer available, and the agency doesn’t send a travel journal. Everything is done through the app. After completing the check-in on the app, we only know that we’ll need to pick up our key, the Medallion, at embarkation by following the blue line in the terminal and presenting our passport.



Up until our departure, the weather forecast for the coming week in Norway is disastrous—rain, rain, and more rain. It was pretty much the same two years ago before our Iceland cruise, and in the end, the weather turned out fine.

On August 10 in Havre St. Pierre, I booked the boat "Capitaine Richard" from 9:15 AM to 5:00 PM with a capacity of 10 passengers. We are two and are offering the remaining spots. The price to pay on-site is CAD 120 per person if there are 8 or 10 passengers, and CAD 140 if there are 6 passengers. Drinks and lunch are not included. Capitaine Richard is a very friendly character and has a lot to show us. I think it’ll be a great excursion. I’m offering this first to French-speaking cruisers, but if there aren’t enough, I’ll post on an American site. Hi there, We’re joining an MSC Preziosa cruise in early July from Hamburg via Iceland. The MSC shore excursions are way overpriced, so we’d like to book through Get Your Guide or Tripadvisor. Even though we’re seasoned travelers, this is our first cruise, and we’re not sure about docking durations, arrival ports, disembarkation times, or how far excursion meeting points are from the ship... It’s a bit tricky to plan visits outside the cruise line’s options while making sure we’re back on board in time. Any advice? Thanks for your tips! Danielle

J'avais réservé 2 croisières successives sur le MSC Preziosa, dans 2 agences différentes. La première, départ le 24 mai, réservée en Allemagne, est annulée. J'attends les nouvelles de l'agence pour connaitre les modalités.

La seconde, départ de Hambourg le 4 juin autour de l'écosse et de l'Islande est toujours en vente. Réservée auprès de croisiland en France, il est prévu que je paye le solde le 20 avril. Pour le moment, je ne bouge pas, j'attends de voir si Croisiland me relance ou me propose de reporter. Je ne pense pas que MSC maintienne ses croisières en juin... quoique l'Islande ne se soit pas fermée au tourisme. Actuellement, la frontière allemande est toujours fermée pour les français sauf ceux qui y travaillent.

Si je ne paye pas le solde en avril, est-ce annulé de mon fait ? Lorsque je réserve directement via MSC, le solde est payable 30 jours avant le départ, donc début mai. Croisiland peut-il exiger le solde maintenant, comme prévu ?

Dans tous les cas, nous ne la ferons pas, trop risqué à 68 et 70 ans, avec les trajets en train, les nuits à Hambourg etc...

Hi, I’m looking for information about the cruise currently running from May 29 to June 10, 2025, around Iceland. The ship didn’t make the scheduled stops—it skipped 2 and stayed a full day off the port of Reykjavik. The cruise seems to have been completely disrupted. Could anyone tell me the reasons? hi there, a group of friends and I are going on a cruise at the end of June with CFC in Norway. I’d love to get some info on the different stops we’ll be making. Most of them are one-day stops (from around 10 AM to 8 PM on average). Here are the stops: Andalsnes, Trondheim, Honningsvåg, Alta, Hellesylt, Sandane, Austefjorden.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can share what there is to see or do in these places.

When I get back, I’ll post what we did—it might help others who come after us.

Also, does anyone know if the boat sticks to the arrival time in Dunkirk for catching tickets to head back south? We’ll plan a buffer just in case.

Après avoir écumé le web à la recherche d'infos, je me tourne vers vous pour obtenir des réponses à mes questions! Je me trouve bien bête de ne pas l'avoir fait avant !

Je prépare notre roadtrip ( couple) d'une semaine en Norvège, Lofoten, fin février.

Première question : est-ce réalisable de faire le trajet Tromso-svolvaer à bord de l'Hurtigruten sans cabine ? Question de budget... mais 17h de traversée tout de même !!!

Je profite de l'occasion pour vous faire part de mon idée d'itinéraire, sentez vous libres de me faire des remarques, commentaires, suggestions !

Arrivée en avion à tromsø, récupération de la voiture de loc, embarquement à bord de l'Hurtigruten ( escale au supermarché avant, j'ai cru comprendre que nourriture et boissons étaient hors de prix et pas super bonnes à bord !) Puis, a partir de Svolvaer, direction le bout de l'île en s'arrêtant dans tous les endroits possibles 😁 Au retour, grimper vers Andenes, passer à Narvik, retour vers Tromsø. Dans les grandes lignes qu'en pensez vous ?

Ah, et est ce que cela vaut la peine en si peu de temps de monter au Cap Nord ?

Hi there, we’re planning a trip to Norway next June. Since my partner gets vertigo, renting a car is out of the question. So, we’re thinking of doing the Bergen to Kirkenes route by cruise—6 nights, 7 days—with either Hurtigruten or Havila. Is this journey as amazing as it sounds? Is one provider better than the other?

We’ve booked the CFC Viking Legends cruise (departing on 03/31/25), and the excursions have just been posted on the CFC website. What a disappointment... Stop in Copenhagen: 2 excursions offered, one of which includes +1.5 hours of walking Stop in Oslo: 2 excursions, one of which is a hike Stop in Sandnes (Stavanger): 2 excursions, one of which is a hike Lysekil (Sweden): 1 excursion, same as in Kristiansand and Zeebrugge.

We hesitated to book without knowing the excursions in advance, but the itinerary interested us. We were expecting more options for excursions... Since the ship leaves the day before from Zeebrugge, let’s hope there’s still space for the excursions. I’ll share our experience after we return from this first CFC discovery. MUM49

bonjour, je suis très tentée par une croisière Hurtigruten 13 j en février 2021 intitulée " la magie des aurores boréales" sur le MS Trollfjord Bergen-Cap Nord-Bergen. j'hésite avec une autre de 13j également qui s'appelle : "à la recherche des aurores boréales" Bergen-Kirkernes-Bergen. Quelqu'un peut -il m'aider a faire mon choix. Au niveau des cabines comment choisir pas trop cher mais avec une vue dégagée ? Merci pour vos conseils.

Je me permet de vous solliciter, en effet nous allons effectuer une croisière au départ de Copenhague en juillet 2020 à bord du MSC Poésia. Nous allons pouvoir visiter Warnemûnde, Stockholm, Tallinn et Saint-Pétersbourg. Nous avons pris le vol par nous même pour arriver sur Copenhague une journée avant, afin de pouvoir visiter un peu. Est ce que quelqu'un aurait déjà procédé ainsi??? Avez vous un hôtel à me conseiller et comment avez vous rejoint le centre de Copenhague depuis l’aéroport??? (Taxi, train...). Dernières questions, est-ce que le port d'embarquement est loin du centre ville, le trouve t'on facilement???🤪
