Après des hésitations, des peurs, des "j'y vais? non je ne suis pas prête, j'y vais? oui mais pas seule et blablabla..." je pars, ça y est, un an, en tant que prof de français (première expérience professionnelle wouuuh!). L’Inde m’ouvre ses portes, ou plutôt j’ose les franchir, seule avec mes yeux et mon âme. Je ne sais pas où sont passées toutes les pensées qui me venaient dès lors que je me projetais seule dans ce pays et qui me faisaient renoncer, une chose est sûre c’est que l’attirance est trop forte et que je m’envole bientôt, avec simplement un sourire jusqu’aux oreilles, et une hâte qui enfouit tous les tracas !
Ce message pour rien, rien à demander, rien à conseiller. Ce message pour partager. Ce message pour dire simplement que ça y est, je vais découvrir ce pays tant rêvé et vivre quelque chose de mille fois imaginée.
Ah! Ça fait du bien d'avoir des témoignages, du vécut de gens qui partent ou vont partir!
On lit ici tellement de gens qui viennent poser des questions, qui veulent des renseignements gratos mais dont on entend plus parler par la suite! Pouf! Disparus!

je suis étudiante en L3 sciences du langage option FLE (français langue étrangère) et j'ai trouvé ce poste par hasard en parcourant ce forum!. c'est un contrat local. je pars en mai jusqu'à avril 2008 (et peut-être plus?!) pour me faire une première longue expérience (je suis partie il y deux ans au Cambodge donner des cours d'anglais pendant l'été), ensuite retour en france pour mes deux années de master FLE et après hop hop hop monde du travail me voilà!
mais sinon, regarde sur des sites tels que fle.fr (http://www.fle.fr/pro/index.html, bas de la page communication et services) qui proposent des postes partout dans le monde ou encore le français dans le monde (http://www.fdlm.org/fle/emploi/index.html). tu peux partir avec l'alliance française (bien payé!) ou encore le minitère des affaires étrangères (là je n'ai pas réussi à trouver le site des offres, regarde peut-être via le site d'universités françaises qui ont la formation FLE, peut-être ont-elles un lien sur ce site pour les recherches de stage de leurs étudiants). je crois qu'en étant en poste dans l'éducation nationale, tu as possibilité de partir soit dans des lycées français, soit en détachement. tu peux aussi voir avec des associations, mais là je pense pas que tu seras payé...

Etant donné que je n'ai pas d'expérience dans l'enseignement et que je ne maîtrise pas l'anglais, j'envisageais peut être de partir déjà comme assistante linguistique à partir de septembre 2007 pour revenir bilingue et avoir une première expérience et après peut être partir plus loin et plus longtemps. Est-ce que ton expérience au Cambodge (et tu dois maîtriser l'anglais?!)ont été décisifs pour obtenir ce poste? Ou sans expérience peut-on trouver quelquechose?
je ne sais pas ce qui a été décisif... je pense que mon profil correspondait bien : un peu d'expérience et un début de formation en FLE (le master viendra compléter tout ça!) et ma motivation... ma rencontre avec la personne "chargée" en France de trouver un candidat à présenter ensuite au directeur en Inde s'est bien passée aussi. c'est un tout je pense...
je sais que la fille qui était en poste avant moi n'avait pas forcément de diplôme mais quelques mois d'expérience dans l'enseignement (en Afrique il me semble...) et aussi une grosse motivation...
mais je n'ai pas trouvé ce poste par le "circuit classique" du FLE, car généralement, je crois qu'il demande des profils "FLE".
de toute manière, il faut tout tenter!
rien qu'en tant qu'assistante déjà je suis sûre que tu as moyen de trouver, je connais des personnes qui sont en assistanat en angleterre avec un DUT information-communication, donc rien à voir avec l'anglais ni même l'enseignement... et elles étaient pas archi douées en anglais... ça te donne une bonne expérience car tu es en situation d'enseignement, face à une classe...
pour mon expérience au Cambodge, je suis partie avec une asso française qui s'appelle "Agir pour le cambodge" qui a créé une école hôtelière à Siem Reap (ville près du site d'Angkor) et là par contre, je n'avais jamais enseigné... mais le "problème" avec les assos c'est que généralement, tu te débrouilles niveau financier... mais sur du court terme (genre l'été) tu peux peut-être trouver quelque chose dans l'enseignement pour te faire une expérience... je crois qu'il y a pas mal d'"offres" pour partir enseigner 3 semaines en Afrique (Togo, Burkina Faso), regarde rien que sur ce forum, je me souviens avoir vu des assos qui recherchaient des bénévoles. mais limite parfois tu dois payer pour enseigner... alors après ça dépend de ce que tu recherches... je sais que je suis partie au Cambodge, j'ai tout payé, et n'étais que logée, ça a été la meilleure expérience de ma vie. maintenant je crois que je ne partirai plus avec le statut bénévole-qui-paie-tout (mais c'est aussi parce que je veux en faire mon métier donc mes visions changent...)
pour la question de la maîtrise de l'anglais, oui il vaut mieux! je communique en anglais avec le directeur de ma future école et là-bas ça sera notre langue commune.. pour ma part je sais que je n'ai pas de mal à récupérer mon niveau d'anglais quand je suis en immersion, ça revient vite donc ça va! je pense que de toute manière, même si tu ne maîtrises pas vraiment l'anglais, ça va très vite quand tu es en immersion, tu galères au début et puis ça va de mieux en mieux (je me souviens quand je venais d'arriver au Cambodge, je me remettais déjà à l'anglais, et en plus, je ne comprenais rine à ce que mes élèves me disaient, l'accent khmer c'est terrible!).

désolée pour la réponse tardive mais j'ai pas eu beacoup de temps entre la fin des partiels, un déménagement plus des problèmes administratifs pour avoir le visa employment que j'attends toujours... bref!
j'ai une licence de sciences du langage avec l'option FLE. normalement, il est difficile de trouver un poste avec ce niveau, j'ai eu de la chance!
ce sera une expérience entre ma licence et mon master que je compte commencer en septembre 2008.
il s'agit de professeur de français en tant que langue étrangère, ce qui n'est pas comme les profs de français en france. là, je vais enseigner la langue française à des non-francophones, le français étant leur LV2 ou LV3... comme l'anglais pour nous.
c'est un cursus FLE, suivi à la fac qui permet ensuite de travailler dans des structures privés, dans les alliances françaises, dans des missions du ministère des affaires étrangères à travers tout le monde... il y a une option en L3 et ensuite des masters professionnels spécifiques enseignement ou alors édition de manuels...
tu as ensuite des sites dédiés aux offres d'emploi FLE.
si tu es rattachée à l'éducation nationale, il y a des postes de détachement. je connais des instit' qui ont repris une année de licence avec l'option FLE de manière à pouvoir soit s'occuper de primo arrivants en france, soit partir à l'étranger.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
