Je vais partir un an an nouvelle zelande avec ma copine et on aurait besoin de petits tuyaux pour pouvoir se preparer au mieux (l'ideal étant quelqu un qui aurait deja vecu l experience avec un VVT).
Voila nous aurions besoin de savoir :
comment faire pour le billet aller/retour ?Quelle compagnie choisir (surtout au niveau tarif!)?Si il y en a une à éviter?
Peut on facilement trouver du travail sur place?Y a t-il des endroits plus propices que d autres?Quels sont les secteurs les plus porteurs ?Existe t-il un carnet d'adresse ou un bouquin répertoriant les employeurs prenant facilement des personnes en vvt?
La douane(ou l immigration) vérifie t elle à l arrivée si le passager a bien la somme minimale demandée(2100 euros) sur le compte bancaire? (doit il etre en possesion d un relevé bancaire ou d une lettre de banque attestant le montant ?)
Nous remercions d avance toute personne pouvant nous éclairer et nous aider sur ces différents points et pourquoi pas nous donner de plus ample informations.
1- Billet A/R, c'est pas forcément obligatoire, si tu montres par ailleurs que tu as les fonds nécessaires pour acheter un retour. Au niveau des compagnies, ne vous posez pas trop de questions, allez au moins cher! Il n'y a pas des différences énormes entre les différentes compagnies. A partir du moment ou tu vas d'un point A vers un point B.
2- Job = un petit conseil m'a été très utile. Il y a un journal avec des annonces de job réactualisées tous les Mercredi et Samedi. Donc, empressez-vous de vous levez très tôt les Mercredis et Samedis pour acheter le "New Zealand Herald's" (2 ou 3 NZD peut-être).
Ensuite, n'hésitez pas d'utiliser tous les sites qui se reportent sur les jobs comme par exemple : http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-me-jobs/index.htm
Perso, Auckland est l'endroit où vit peut-être 1/4 de la pop en NZ, donc il y a forcément du boulot, surtout à l'approche du printemps, été. Ensuite, anywhere you go, vous trouverez du travail, fréquemment dans l'agriculture, l'horticulture, viticulture... l'ambiance est bonne. Beaucoup d'entreprises autour des fruits de mer, pêche aussi. 2 choses : il faut avoir le sens du pif et ne surtout pas avoir peur de retrousser les manches. Mais vous verrez, vous serrez vite récompensé de vos efforts!
3-Ils peuvent en effet, vérifier si tous les critères du vvt sont remplis (perso j'avais juste un relevé bancaire, mais ils n'ont pas vérifier que la somme était tjs là, 😉). Ils contrôlent si tu as une assurance, les dates du vvt, et ils te disent WELCOME TO NEW ZEALAND!!!

La population est -elle accueillante ou peut on etre confronté à certaines réticenses dans des régions?
Peut on également trouver des hébergements très bon marché ou vaut il mieux essayer acheter un van pour pouvoir y vivre ( surtout si l on bouge très souvent au gré des rencontres et des jobs)?
Quel est le bugdet moyen (globalement bien sur) par personne et par jour (vie relativement simple sans abus)?
Une dernière petite question:j ai lu qu il faut expedier sans passeport avec la demande de vvt (obligatoire?) mais doit on egalement joindre la somme nécessaire pour qu il te ré-expédie ton passseport par la suite?

Pop très accueillante. Réticences? Il faut vraiment les embêter pour en avoir. Certes, des endroits sont reculés mais les gens sont simples.
L'été (mi décembre à mi-mars) en Van ok, mais sinon il y a une superbe réseau de backpackers dans les deux îles. C'est mieux quand on a un job pour qq tps.
Le budget dépend évidemment de beaucoup de choses, mais si tu pars qu'avec ton sac à dos:
+ logement en coloc (150$/wk),
+ transport (20$/wk) ou si achat vélo sur www.trademe.co.nz (180 $),
+ téléphone : important pour être joignable => acheter une carte sim en NZ (?$ j'ai oublié + recharge 15$, 30$, ...)
+ nourriture (30-40$/wk)
+ extra (50$/wk)
il faut compter, pour donner une moyenne et en faisant gaffe, environ 250 $ / wk
Un job peut te rapporter de 250 à 600 $/wk (tout dépend du job car bcp de part time, dépend des horaires, ...)
Il te faut un ird number pour travailler en nz (sert à l'employeur pour la retenue de l'impôt sur le salaire) http://www.ird.govt.nz/
C'est pour que je te dis de pas trop te poser toutes ces questions, car c'est l'inconnu. Tout dépend d'un tas de facteurs. Là je te donne mon point de vue, mais il faut y aller et tu verras sur le moment venu. C'est impossible de tout prévoir. Et puis, c'est ça l'intérêt du voyage, de l'aventure.
Sinon pour ton passeport, je peux pas te répondre exactement. Cherche un contact email à l'ambassade et poses-lui toutes les questions administratives (ils répondent assez rapidement en général).
