Je compte profiter de l'été 2010 pour effectuer une mission humanitaire au Népal (mousson ou pas 😉). J'ai trouvé l'association "shaktinepal" qui propose de participer à des travaux dans un temple bouddhiste à 150 km de Katmandou.
J'aimerais savoir si des gens ont déjà réalisé des activités via cette association et si oui ce qu'ils en ont pensé (organisation, convivialité, efficacité, honnêteté...).
L'association Développement Sans Frontière avec laquelle je suis parti l'an dernier en mission au Pérou travaille avec des associations locales népalaise.

Le hasard fait bien les choses: je suis justement tombé sur leur site et suite à ma candidature ils viennent de me proposer une mission au Népal.
Je trouve que ça à l'air d'être une très bonne association. Puisque tu es déjà parti avec eux, peux-tu me dire ce que tu en as pensé (organisation, suivi, contact, etc.) ?
Ecoute je suis parti l'an dernier et c'était ma première mission.
J'ai trouvé que l'accompagnement était vraiment de très bonne qualité. C'est très confortable de partir accompagné par des personnes qui connaissent la destination, les problématiques... Ils ont été à l'écoute du début à la fin et je dois dire que j'aurai peut être pas toujours bien fait sans leur aide.
Et humainement, rien à dire ils sont tous très sympa et à l'écoute.
Vraiment 100% satisfait!!
Je n'ai pas encore fait de mission avec eux, mais ils ont l'air compétents et volontaires. De plus, ils proposent un très grand choix de destinations partout dans le monde et pas de missions différentes.
Ce qui est vraiment avantageux c'est le côté financier. Contrairement à pas mal d'associations que j'ai trouvé, celle-ci ne demande pas des taux d'inscriptions faramineux et propose une plateforme de recherche de dons pour t'aider à financer les coûts. En plus, tous les dons récupérés peuvent êtres défiscalisés à 66% en signant ta charte de volontaire, c'est bien pratique surtout si tu pars loin.
Je n'en sais pas beaucoup plus moi-même, mais franchement c'est la meilleur assoc' que j'ai trouvé pour le moment.
Là on vient de me proposer de partir réaliser un reportage sur une école en recherche de fond à Katmandou, et tous les anciens volontaires dont on m'a donné l'adresse mail me disent qu'ils ont eu une très bonne expérience.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
