C'est un peu flou en ce moment pour moi sur les démarches à faire et j’espère que vous allez m'aider à voir plus claire.
Je souhaite avoir un visa permanent pour le canada afin de travailler, d'y vivre .
Je ne connais pas les démarches à faire est ce que je dois passer par l'ambassade directement ou un bureau de représentation.
J'ai participé à une conférence ici en Tunisie organisé dans un hôtel ici par ce genre de bureau mais je ne sais pas si c'est fiable ou pas. J'ai un bac+5 avec cinq ans d'expérience dans différents domaine. En ce moment je suis en poste de manager dans une entreprise.
Je souhaiterais parler avec des personnes qui ont déja fait cette démarche.
j'ai fait ce test et je suis acceptable. j'aimerais vivre et travailler au Canada (montreal ou tte autre partie francophone). au début je voulais partir avec un PVT, mais j'en ai déjà eu un il y a 4 ans.
et sur le site de l'immigration il est dit qu'on ne peut en bénéficier qu'une seule fois.
je ne veux pas payer les frais pour la "deuxième" partie de ce test, si je ne suis pas sure d'être accéptée, et d'avoir mon autorisation/visa.
Si ton test préliminaire est positif, c'est qu'il y a de bonnes chances que tu sois sélectionnée, mais le seul moyen d'en être sûre c'est de faire la demande officielle du CSQ (qui est payante) y'a pas d'autre moyen!

Nous sommes un couple de 2 Français agés de 22 ans, ma copine va terminer ses études d'infirmières (Diplome d'Etat), et je détiens une licence en Lettres.
Nous souhaitons partir au Canada pour l'année 2012/2013, pour une durée idéal de 12 mois, et un minimum de 9 à 10 mois( idéalement de septembre 2012 à l'été 2013).
Nous envisagions le visa working holiday, cependant le site www.canadainternational.gc.ca indique que les demandes ne sont plus acceptées depuis le 28 novembre 2011.
Nous aurions aimé travailler sur place, voir étudier ci celà correspond à nos projets d'études et si l'emploi du temps offre une certaine flexibilité.
Il était initialement prévu de partir à Montréal.
La possibilité d'un séjour working holiday étant désormais exclu, quels sont nos possibilitées? Est-il toujours possible de partir pour l'année 2012 2013?

Une autre solution pour vous est d'être admis dans une université francophone. Si vous êtes tous les deux citoyens français, vous pouvez faire un certificat professionnel pour que vos études soient reconnues au Québec. Evidemment, financièrement, ce n'est pas pareil que travailler à plein temps tout en suivant des cours du soir.
Donc si j'ai bien compris, on peut soit s'inscrire dans un cursus là-bas, soit trouver un employeur sur place. Ce sont nos deux seules options pour un éventuel départ? Pour arriver en septembre 2012 et repartir avant l'été 2013, il n'y a pas d'autres solutions?
Bien il y a le PVT... C'est quand même 3 options pour venir au Canada ce n'est pas mal je pense! 😉 Il n'y a pas 36 statuts: étudiant , visiteur, travailleur...

Le PVT est un simple programme d'échanges "jeunesse" internationaux entre le Canada et d'autres pays. Malheureusement, le Cameroun n'en fait pas partie.
Il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir une offre d'emploi pour déposer une demande d'immigration (si votre objectif est de vivre définitivement au Canada). Je vous suggère de visiter les sites d'Immigration Québec pour évaluer vos chances en tant que candidate.

C'est hélas le lot de bien des immigrants...du moins les premières années. 😕

Absolument pas, elles sont inférieures. Prenez n'importe quel pays, dans 98% des cas le taux de chômage sera plus élevé chez l'immigrant que le natif. C'est la réalité de l'immigration...
Cependant, si vous êtes prête à suivre une formation locale (un diplôme canadien dans un domaine en demande, au Canada) vos chances de trouver un emploi de qualité s'amélioreront. Par exemple, si vous suivez une formation d'infirmière au Canada, vos chances de trouver un emploi sont de 100%. Les domaines comme la comptabilité (expert-comptable comme CA, CGA...), la santé, les assurances, les services bancaires et financiers, etc. sont très porteurs, mais vous auriez intérêt à décrocher un diplôme local.
Vous êtes dans le milieu de l'expertise des sinistres, c'est cela? Il est possible de suivre une courte formation afin de trouver rapidement un emploi, regarder les AEC en assurance de dommages.

Et bien c'est plutôt compliqué de suivre une formation au Canada quand on se trouve au Cameroun 😉 En fait, l'idée était plutôt de demander un visa immigrant, s'installer au pays et ensuite entamer une formation locale avant de chercher du boulot (ou en occupant un petit boulot en parallèle des études). Ce qu'il faut retenir c'est que vos études faites au Cameroun auront peu voire aucune valeur pour les employeurs canadiens...Je préfère vous prévenir. C'est pourquoi on recommande aux nouveaux arrivant de décrocher un diplôme ou une formation locale.
Pour le reste, les questions sont d'ordre trop générale dont les réponses varient selon un trop grand nombre de paramètres.

Etant, vous même au canada, que pouvez-vous donnés comme conseil à un immigrant? Encouragez-vous cette démarche?
Moi je suis née au Canada. Mon père y a immigré dans les années 60.
Le conseil que je donne est vraiment d'aller faire une formation ou un diplôme canadiens une fois sur place, dans un domaine en demande, car autrement les immigrants sont souvent condamnés aux boulots mal payés. Ensuite, de se faire connaître et de développer un réseau social (bénévolat, milieu universitaire, communautés, internet, etc.) et de faire savoir que vous recherchez un emploi. Une personne qui entendra parler d'un poste disponible aura plus facile à vous le faire savoir si elle vous connait déjà.
Si vous ne parlez pas ou peu l'anglais, il faut s'y mettre. Le Canada est un pays 80% anglophone et la maîtrise de l'anglais facilite l'obtention d'un bon emploi.
Également, renseignez vous sur plusieurs villes canadiennes. Ne vous limitez pas à Montréal ou Toronto, où la compétition est forte, d'autres villes peuvent être intéressante: Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, London, etc.
Je ne conseille pas de viser les petites villes très homogènes, surtout quand on est une minorité visible, car l'intégration y est plus difficile, cela dit ce n'est pas pareil partout non plus!
Essayez de fréquenter des forums de discussion sur l'immigration canadienne où les membres échangent à ce sujet, cela vous aidera.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
